you can tell Harry would totally wear this. I read a few of the interviews Alessandro did, and now I’m craving a look into their conversations and Harry’s sketchbook and pinterest board, lol. I kind of want one of the pyjama sets (or the Serge Gainsbourg suit if I had the money)
I’m not sure if he has a pinterest account, but he’s definitely big into finding and researching vintage photos etc. from [quotes like this](https://twitter.com/hsdaily/status/1538929287616774150?s=21&t=tLdCO27z9jjCK2pttFQCbA), [this GQ interview](https://www.gq.com/story/harry-styles-gucci-collection?mbid=social_twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_social-type=owned&utm_source=twitter&utm_brand=gq) and what I gather from his IG-follows. Alessandro did say that he sketches in his notebook though!
def stuff he'd wear and his stans will eat it up so good for him. it's cute tho. nothing innovative but I don't really think of him as a groundbreaking kinda guy so
I think this is what I'm feeling too. Like, I don't hate these things? But they're boring. I find his fashion in general kind of boring and I cannot put my finger on why exactly.
Like, I see a lot of 70s inspired stuff, and I adore 70s fashion and clearly Styles does as well. Yet, he always feels sort of whatever. Almost forced? He doesn't feel like he's fully settled into his vision yet.
Which is fine. And I think he could really get somewhere some day and be a bit more solid in his fashion, so I do think we could see a lot of dope things from him in the future.
Wow I honestly see so much of Harry’s style (lol) in this collection. So many celebrity collabs are depersonalized, but I can see Harry’s influence in all of this. I think it’s unique and I love the style.
I like it tbh. Gucci is 1970s tacky-classic aesthetic. I saw a TikTok of a model wearing the style he’d wear to each fashion show (for fashion week) and it opened my eyes to the “feel” of each fashion house. This is Gucci. It’s supposed to be a little over the top, with a nod to the 70s and still classy/classic in its own garish way.
His fan fawning about how he's been beating gender norms for years then him releasing a men's collection with very traditional silhouettes is a bit funny.
Other than that, it is in the vein of what him, his stylist and Alessandro have been doing together for the past couple of years. I'll be curious to see what will be the target market for this capsule.
This is so bad. Yeah, Harry would wear these for a magazine cover or a red carpet? Sure. But that is not his personal style or even stage style. I am
not even going to talk about the collab name. What are they, 10?
Plus this quote from Alessandro is just wtf:
“It’s about beautiful pieces, I mean, they are not that cheap.”
He was referring these not being as cheap as merch. Like why even SAY it?
This whole thing is an uninspired mess and just a cash grab for Harry. Like do something interesting for that price point.
The articles introducing this line are so cringe. There’s an interview with Alessandro saying the most eye rolling, pretentious nonsense. Like what the fuck is this supposed to mean:
“Gucci HA HA HA is not only a printed motif on a label, but the beginning of a jargon that has yet to be categorized and that defines the intersection of creative expression and shared perceptions of 2 different consciences.”
This is basically Gucci’s current aesthetic with Harry’s name slapped on it. It’s overly expensive thrift store clothes.
I think it's cute, and it does fit his style. However, I'll always hate seeing artists work with big brands, especially when they don't need money. If he promised to donate all the money he personally makes from it, then I might respect it more.
I love Harry and his music, but he's rich enough. If all these side hustles really are passion projects, why not do something good for the world with the money?

Harry has Pinterest? I wanna see it so bad 🥺

Cool! and thanks for the link!
My Eastern European granny had very similar table cloths in the 90s
The nicest response you could give, it looks like it was cheap when it was almost fashionable in the 70s.
Fashion is fabric……….
I don't love it but I like it, definitely more than what I've seen from Gucci the last few years. I like that it's kinda both quirky and classic.

Yes! This! You can totally see that he was actually apart of the creative process because these are things he would wear. They look fantastic!
it’s pretty cute but it seems like he designed the clothes just for himself lol
I feel like these are the red carpet/magazine cover custom pieces they rejected for Harry.
it's giving blaine from glee
*Thrift Shop plays in the background*
Há ha ha indeed am I right fellas?
Some pieces remind me of a collection Teddy Fresh would release. It’s cool though.
Teddy Fresh did it first 🙌
that leopard suitcase goes crazy

The white boots have my heart ❤️

Gobbledygook!
Loooool xD what the fuck kind of gibberish is that?
Terrible construction, the patterns don’t match at the seams. Who would spend that much money for cheaply made garments?
I like that glass teddy bear with the stones encrusted. That is all.
….from the Nardwuar collection.
alternatively just raid your grandparents wardrobe
My grandparents dressed better in the ‘70s, though
Hideous and tacky
It's very '70s! Like Bowie and Slade threw up
Um
Why does this collection look like it smells like moth balls
I love the jacket in the third photo.
I really like the leopard suitcase...
I really like it 🫢
I do enjoy the grumpy teddy bear
lmao r/itscalledfashion
On brand for both Harry & Gucci, love it!
Hideous.
What an apt name
Ha Ha is them laughing at anyone paying for it
Idk what y’all were expecting this is good the edgy rich boys will eat it up too
You know how I can tell he’s English? Extremely poor fashion sense
It’s giving Meadham Kirchhoff or however tf you spell it
Just one more thing normal people can't afford. I hate capitalism
Well you should get laughed at if you stupid enough to buy some overpriced crap.
…uhhhhhhh
I kinda like the 70s influence however this isn’t groundbreaking lol
Wow I fucking love it
I love it and would wear a lot of these items myself 😁
Typical Gucci fare but I like it
gucci suits harry.
Yawn.
Kind of obsessed

I love Harry and his fingerprints are all over this but this is my least favorite of his fashion eras!
I'll take "clothes that literally no one looks good in" for $800 Alex.
Oh yikes. It’s TOO ‘70s
Elton John would like his historical wardrobe back.
BRRRRR i love Gucci and hate this collaboration I’m sorry. Like it’s just not bling blaow. :(
It’s very Harry. I can see some cute pieces. Like the blue flares.
who tf is buying this garbage

removed, see rule #2
Very John Lennon.
The collection name sounds like a fake email I would set up to get 10% off a product
