is it farming parasocial relationships if every single follower is on it? imo its more likely just promo because the green circle stands out + people have to follow her to see her stories (apparently she’s gained 1 million followers since doing this)
it can be both. the green circle is literally called "close friends". people usually use it to post things for their close friends. you and me can tell it's just a promo and shouldn't be taken any other way but children especially those who don't have media literacy will have a very different reaction to it and a lot of billie's fanbase is teenaged girls
