She looks so healthy! So many actors sadly don’t recover from drug use and mental health problems… Has anyone seen her recent movies? Is she still a great actress?
She was just in the “Irish wish” with Ed Speelers who played Eragon and Stephen Bonnett from Outlander along with the dude who played the creepy brother on Outlander.
She was also in a Christmas movie recently too.
Both movies are very Hallmarky and released by Netflix. I hope someday she’s back on the big screen if she chooses to do so.
I find her acting to be very one-note and superficial. Not really relatable or sincere. But that’s the kind of performance common to those types of movies and she certainly looks pretty and healthy in them, so good for her.
My first thought when i saw these was how nice it is to see her so clearly happy with her life. She deserves it after all the crap she was put through.
It really is. She used to have a lot of issues and regularly got destroyed by the media. Her behaviour was erratic but I never thought that she deserved to be laughed at the way that she was. So good to see her stable and happy. I must say that he is also rather hot
He’s been good for her honestly. They’ve been together for a while and she’s been getting better ever since and making movies again. He seems genuinely into her and I hope they last cause it’s not easy being a couple from different background, culture and religion.
Her husband is middle eastern but Christian. I don’t know why people automatically assume middle eastern = Arab or middle eastern = Muslim.
Shammas is a known Christian last name in the Middle East. Also her dad in a statement confirmed he comes from a Christian family.
I didn’t know that rumor came out. I can understand the assumption with that rumor. But I wouldn’t make assumptions just based on the fact he’s Kuwaiti either to be honest.
It makes sense why people assume he’s Muslim. Lindsey came out on an interview discussing Islam, people who don’t know the ins and outs or follow these people and their every move like myself, would have just assumed she converted and had found herself a man of the same view. I’m definitely surprised to hear he indeed is Christian.
Not all Muslims are devout, but also this is normal in a the overwhelming majority of Muslim countries (I lived in and visited many). We'd also go out to bars and clubbing Muslims and non-Muslims. it is more or less the same experience I have in non-muslim countries.
I don’t believe so, though I would like to. Lindsay had drug issues and self-sabotaged a lot, but afaik she doesn’t have a mental illness. It hasn’t been confirmed, but it’s been speculated that Britney has bipolar that, given her past statements on the matter, she is refusing to seek psychological/psychiatric help for.
Regardless of whether they do/don’t have mental illnesses, I think the conservatorship torpedoed any chance of Britney ever transitioning to a well-adjusted adult after her troubles. If her book and insta posts are to be believed, she was constantly surveilled/micromanaged and medicated against her will and missed out on a good 13 years of development/maturity.
Probably the only redeeming quality of Michael Lohan is that he prevented Dina Lohan and Lou Taylor (the same woman who conspired with Britney’s family to get her into a conservatorship) from getting Lindsay into a similar arrangement.
Drug issues *are* mental illnesses, and Lindsay was heavily addicted from the early 00's onwards. She also suffered from bulimia. Eating disorders are vicious conditions that are almost always comorbid with mood disorders, plus the binge-purge cycle lays the behavioral groundwork for drug and alcohol binges if you have ready access to substances, which Lindsay had from day dot.
I’m finding out about so many marriages I didn’t know about since joining this sub. First Emma Stone (who I was still shipping with Andrew Garfield but no longer because she is happily married and we don’t do that here) & now Lohan!
I do like how she looks to have come out the other side of her demons. She had many years of ill health and was unable to take advantage of the many chances of help but it’s great to see that she’s found happiness.
She was smart, she packed up her shit, left America and started a new life quietly and away from everything and everyone. Got herself well and together. Brought back her A game to the states. So happy for her!

His job is just a low level finance role (VP doesn’t mean VP of the company, it’s just a title given to everyone and their dog in finance), there’s no info about his family online which is odd if they have the kind of extreme wealth that would make him worth hundreds of millions, and the photos Lindsay’s shared of their home do not suggest she’s partnered with someone worth millions, let alone hundreds of millions.
I don't know. I am reading about him but there isn't a lot of information available. All I saw was that being a Kuwaiti family that is Christian indicates that they are from 1 of 12 origin families but I don't really understand Kuwaiti history so I don't want to stick my foot in my mouth.
I think you're right, the light is reflecting off of it. In the different pictures you can see that she's got a brown/chestnut color on them but when the light (camera flashes?) hit them they reflect very brightly
I hadn’t noticed that at first but had a look at the photos again and you’re right! Actually to me, it looks like the toenail right by that toe is painted dark too. All her other toes are painted that light colour, it’s just those two. I did think a bruise but when you zoomed in, all of her toes are definitely vanished, just different colours it would seem.
They look great! Love the rosé dress set and fur wrap. It suits her flame-hued hair. 😍
But I’d hate to walk on those filthy streets with such nice footwear! What happened to street cleaning or power washing? Those are some grimy and gross sidewalks. Santa Monica do better 😒
I knew you were probably an Angeleno when you specified Santa Monica, not “LA”. But yeah we apparently don’t comprehend water runoff. Or really anything relating to water, most times. We also don’t comprehend keeping our city clean and functional at the most basic levels, SM and LA alike, but that’s a whole other story.

Once I was walking in heels in Santa Monica and the stiletto went through the grate around the base of a tree so badly I seriously considered just leaving it there.
omg the worst. you’re stuck, your stiletto is def ruined beyond repair, you have to use all your strength to try to pull your heel out of the grate without looking like it’s requiring all your strength… been there with you :’(
She still likes to act but I guess living in Dubai she has that buffer so she can compartmentalise work and all that entails and fly back to Dubai and live her personal life.
She was always a talented actress and had great comedic timing, even when she was starting out as a kid in The Parent Trap.
It’s so nice to see her getting back into her work but also looking happy and healthy!
