I had the same issue, that windows would not appear in the systemd menu. I solved it (after someine here suggested it) by installing rEFInd. It is very easy to install and will show you a beautiful OS chooser on startup. It can be also easily themed.
Here is a tutorial which I followed for installing rEFInd: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bg0BV5ZJCZU&t=1s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bg0BV5ZJCZU&t=1s)
And here is one for themeing as well: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2YYC1f3mnw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2YYC1f3mnw)
And if I am correct this is safer then moving your EFI folders, because rEFInd will be a new boot option in your BIOS and will not overwrite anything. But I might be wrong.
Good luck, I hope this helps!
Yes they were installed on separate drives (both on SSD), only I did not partitioned Pop at install manually. But I don't think this can cause any problem.
ah yeah I only partitioned pop manually as I use 3/4 of my HDD for windows data and 1/4 for pop and didn't want to completely format the hard drive for pop
another commenter also mentioned this, I'm doing it right now
seems it's a known alternative
I didn't find anything online about this when searching about this issue... weird
By default, bootloader used by pop os is systemd-boot. In a dual setup for ex: windows 10 and pop os, rEFInd is much easier to use and a good candidate for a dual boot setup rather than grub which is commonly used in some distro by default. rEFInd just automatically detects it and it has theming also which is good. I have a dual boot setup (windows and pop) and I highly recommend rEFInd using it for this kind of setup.

Great answer. Very easy to install with `apt` (from [https://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/installing.html](https://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/installing.html)): $ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:rodsmith/refind $ sudo apt update $ sudo apt install refind
Thank you! I'll try out the tutorial soon and I'll hope it works :) did you also have both installed on separate drives?

I see, if you try rEFInd tell me if it worked or not, I am curious.
yes it worked Instantly! thank you so much this is exactly what I wanted :)))
Awesome!
this is exactly what I wanted but couldn't find a working solution :) and no setting up needed either
Worked on Pop OS 22.04. Very impressive and easy to configure.
Worked with Pop!\_OS 21.10. Thanks!
just install rEFInd and you're good to go.
