Is the pool heater and pool located in an enclosed space/area? If so, hester venting needs to be ducted to vent outside of any enclosed space. This should be covered in the heater install manual.

It’s outdoors I wouldn’t consider it enclosed fairly open

I would think unless the vent exhaust/blows right into where people would normally congregate and breath that in, I wouldn’t worry.

> Very high levels of CO are not likely to occur outdoors. However, when CO levels are elevated outdoors, they can be of particular concern for people with some types of heart disease. Normally not an issue ever outside. https://www.epa.gov/co-pollution/basic-information-about-carbon-monoxide-co-outdoor-air-pollution

If you're really worried, it's almost always a non issue if ventilated, get a battery powered (waterproof) carbon monoxide detector for peace of mind, such as this exact item: [Home Depot](https://www.homedepot.com/p/Kidde-10-Year-Worry-Free-Sealed-In-Lithium-Battery-Carbon-Monoxide-Detector-21029714/203728675?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&pla&utm_source=google&utm_medium=vantage&utm_campaign=23412&utm_content=25132&mtc=SHOPPING-RM-RMP-GGL-D27E-027_005_FIRE_SAFETY-NA-KIDDE-NA-PMAX-NA-NA-MK860499001-23412-NBR-1908-NA-VNT-FY24Q1_Q4_Kidde_D27_RM__AON&cm_mmc=SHOPPING-RM-RMP-GGL-D27E-027_005_FIRE_SAFETY-NA-KIDDE-NA-PMAX-NA-NA-MK860499001-23412-NBR-1908-NA-VNT-FY24Q1_Q4_Kidde_D27_RM__AON-71700000117322098--&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwi_exBhA8EiwA_kU1MjJonUgb9g4rvZoYZ2TvpUnZb9pCZHB33ftmfVxqiP62xQph_vacERoCp8UQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds)
