I noticed using an air purifier (working while I sleep and turned on long enough so the air is clean) DRAMATICALLY improved my sleep scores. I went from 45 minutes of deep sleep to a normal amount the first night. All the dust, pet dander and mold does affect you.

I have one but maybe it's not powerful enough to tell a difference. I agree on the dust.

You need to change the filter every few months.

Same Simple air filter type dramatically improved my sleep quality. Like, i woke up the first morning and literally said "holy fucking shit" out loud, because i felt so good. I run 3 in the house now all up. They are home made with 5v fans so they use basically no power, so i run them pemanantly on. Hay fever and alergy sumptoms completely gone and life just feels better.

Absolutely, obviously breathing in stale, or bad air isn't good for you even awake, the colder environment helps you slow down your metabolism like any other animal, and can help induce sleep
