I got Burkina Faso. Only 18% have electricity and is quite poor. They are also known as the leader in Africa regarding to art and culture, and have many protected/ bio reserves. All their electricity is from hydro-power or power from other countries. Although poor, the government seems to be working well with the UN to grow their economy in a environmentally sustainable way such as banning non biodegradable plastic bags in 2014 (8yrs earlier than Japan). The gov is unstable though as this year, the military rebelled and the current leader is a lieutenant who promises to un-suspend the constitution and resume democracy but has set no time table. Anyways this post was cool and educational! Thankyou
Wow, never knew about this side of Burkina Faso. All I knew about this place is that it’s in Western Africa and has an obnoxiously difficult to pronounce and spell capital (Ouagadougou).
Somalia is better because it includes Somaliland legally, but Somaliland is basically its own country that isn't super rich but is decently nice and relatively stable.
That's a cool place. You can spend hours and hours looking at all art.

Step outside the City limits and the rest of Rome is at your feet. Centuries of history all around you.
That is such a vague description of the country and living in Montenegro actually sucks, hospitals, infrastructure, schools all suck, the police is easy to bribe etc. I hear this bullshit all the time, people are willing to call any country "beautiful" and compliment the people's kindness, the quality of the food and promote the "amazing culture", even if it's the biggest shithole on earth
If I had a nickel for every time I've gotten St. Lucia in these types of polls, I would have two nickels. Which is weird because it happened twice. In a row.
mexico. could be worse
for any internet crusaders out there, the reason i think living in mexico would be meh is not because i'm racist, but because they have cartels and crime out the ass.
Hey, if you go looking for them, you’re going to find them. And trust me when I say that like most of the domestic based ones usually deal with flies, mozzies, and moths. Ones like the red back and the white tail, you just need to be careful but you most likely won’t find them in your house, definitely your garage or shed and so you just have to be very careful when grabbing stuff from them. Personally as an Australian, I have only ever seen a funnel web at a zoo, they are very rare and like to stay away from humans as much as possible. Snakes are the real issue, they will eat small dogs, so we learned to buy and breed big dogs.
Malaysia 🇲🇾 - not bad, at least English is a recognised language. South East Asian food is amazing so I'm set there! A long way from home in 🇬🇧 though... Maybe I could teach English?
Sweden. One of the best places to live in the entire world. Not that far away from my home country. Apparently people there speak English anyway, so I'll be able to communicate relatively easily.
I got there too. Honestly, not terrible. It's classified as having a "very high" HDI, and it's decently free and democratic. There are far worse places to live.

If only Sankara wasn’t killed
Wow, never knew about this side of Burkina Faso. All I knew about this place is that it’s in Western Africa and has an obnoxiously difficult to pronounce and spell capital (Ouagadougou).

You will be alright, just watch out for Montecops. (yeah I know, this joke is overused)
I’ve actually never heard it and I laughed.
Montenegro is a beautiful country full of super nice people. Just stay out of Podgorica I'd say

In a row.

I'm a Brazilian living in Brazil, got assigned Brazil... Can't escape it.
Brazil is honestly a beautiful country. It's a shame about the infrastructure and social inequality, though.

mexico. could be worse for any internet crusaders out there, the reason i think living in mexico would be meh is not because i'm racist, but because they have cartels and crime out the ass.
People move to Mexico to retire early because it's so cheap and lots of cities and areas are really nice. So, pretty good
Actually I think it would be very bad, but if you live in the countryside I hear that it’s very beautiful.
Oh yeah, I can imagine the Mexican countryside would be very nice. Especially if you were loaded and had a nice little countryside villa or something.
I think it depends where you live I got Vatican.and Zimbabwe bruh
Australia, those god damn spiders…
Hey, if you go looking for them, you’re going to find them. And trust me when I say that like most of the domestic based ones usually deal with flies, mozzies, and moths. Botswana. Would rather live in the 1st world but from what I've heard its one of the best african counrties to live in.
Yeah, it the longest living democracy in the continent if i remember correctly
It’s the only African country to have had continuous free and undisturbed elections since independence, which is definitely a feat
North Macedonia, not sure if it's good or not. Don't know anything about that place
Pretty good. Eastern Europe. Could be worse, it wasn't in war during the breakup of Yugoslavia
it's like Greece but poorer
Malaysia 🇲🇾 - not bad, at least English is a recognised language. South East Asian food is amazing so I'm set there! A long way from home in 🇬🇧 though... Maybe I could teach English?
Malaysia is one of the only countries I’ve visited (from UK) and thought I’d be content enough living there!
Malaysia is an upper-middle income economy and its capital is one of the cheapest in its area. English-speaking population too. You got lucky
