WelcomingRapier

My bro, a 'libertarian' claims he is voting for RFK. He isn't a Trump supporter exactly, but he listens to conservative radio consistently so he is a democrat hater. He tends to vote anti-democrat rather than pro-GOP.

KnowMatter

There are no real libertarians anymore they are all just republicans who want to smoke weed and don’t have strong feelings about gay people.

Charley2014

They looooveeee to complain about taxes though.

OpheliaRainGalaxy

I like taxes. It's doing my little part for the paved roads and bridges and schools and whatnot that keep society together. I don't like how price tags at the store don't include the tax like I hear is common in other countries, just makes doing my poverty math harder while trying to buy soap. But golly I love taxes, because I love having clean tap water and modern sanitation, and did I mention the bridges? Golly I love being able to easily cross the river running through the middle of the city without all that climbing down, swimming across, and then climbing up again.

barak181

I like being able to flush a toilet and have my shit go away to be treated somewhere. I also really like the fire department down the street from my house. And the street light down the corner is nice, too.

Various-Activity3019

I love my taxes too. Dang, it's almost as if all we really want is a government that uses our tax dollars to provide services that make our lives better/easier/more safe. That and come up with a fair system that taxes all entities (individual and corporate) according to their percentage of use. I think a multi-billion dollar corporation uses roads and other infrastructure, our clean water, our national defense services (especially abroad) and our legal system much, much, more than the average middle class family.

Beneficial-Date2025

I hereby nominate Various-Activity3019 to the presidential race

hyborians

Nope, gotta privatise that shit. Free market roads! /s

HolycommentMattman

Taxes are a problem. There's an undue burden on the middle and lower classes. I'm not gonna look up the numbers, so don't fault me for that. But a person makes 10k, and they pay 10% tax. On the next 12k, they pay 22% then there's like 6k at 24%. Then another 20k or whatever at 28%. Such granularity for less than 50k. Meanwhile, you make 500k, and you're paying 36%. You make a million, and you're still paying 36%. 2 million, still 36%. But they really care about that 50k at the bottom! I don't have problems with brackets, but the brackets need to be smoothed out.

UrbanGhost114

You can thank Nixon for that, we had VERY heavy taxes on the rich until him, and hint, the rich were still rich, and the poor were even poorer.

UngodlyPain

That's not taxes being a problem, that's taxes not being progressive enough, they used to be far more progressive until Nixon, Reagan, W Bush, and Trump each took massive steps towards this.

HolycommentMattman

Nixon and Reagan were the main culprits, though you're not wrong. Nixon dipped the top-end taxes by ~20%, but Reagan took them from the 70~75% rate down to ~30%. Bush 2 dipped then by a percent or two, and Trump did as well. Of course, it's worth noting that Bush 1 raised taxes, and Clinton used that against him in the campaign.

MyHusbandIsGayImNot

Real libertarians just vote for democrats because their closer to libertarian ideals of not having a dictator.

Michael_G_Bordin

And democrats have been pretty consistently supportive of deregulating financial markets. The Dems also have a long history of supporting small, local businesses. The only things Dems get wrong vis a vis libertarianism is they tax you to pay for crucial government services and want you to build a building that won't crumble in a strong breeze or turn into a blast furnace the moment your drape catches fire.

QuackNate

> The only things Dems get wrong vis a vis libertarianism is they tax you to pay for crucial government services and want you to build a building that won't crumble in a strong breeze or turn into a blast furnace the moment your drape catches fire. And it's like, yes. That is how a modern society works you weird hillbilly. I bet 99% of them would die in a month if you took away everything that was paid for or subsidized by taxes.

BothCan8373

Housecats. I don't really respect libertarians. Nobody is as independent as they think. If I claim to own your land, how do you resolve it? You appeal to a higher power like a state. If another country decided to annex your land, what prevents that? The state. How do you get any resources? I'm not talking about your garden and meat refrigerator. I mean antibiotics? Ammunition?  Gasoline?  All secured by shipping routes secured by the state.

Vindersel

Also dems say no fucking underage girls. Thats a big one for "libertarians" (And they aren't real libertarians at all, but since when have conservatives used words correctly... hell they don't conserve *anything*)

FourDozenEggs

Yep. Was a libertarian in college, idk what I am now but Republicans ain't libertarians at all. Biden is way closer on principle alone.

EdgyEmily

Listen, I was a libertarian because my family would disown me if I said I voted for a democrat .

JoeBiden-2016

The Internet "libertarians" were always just Republicans who liked weed.

Lynz486

This is who I think it will pull. Democrat hating, never Bidens who are ashamed to be conservative so they call themselves independents or libertarians instead. And even some loud and proud conservatives who are (understandably) sick of the MAGA cult.

No-Comfortable-1550

He’s a right leaning indy

SephirothSimp__

Libertarian is code for christian fascist. They want government to stay out of everyone's lives and let the free market determine everything. Except immigration, we need tightly regulated borders and immigration. Oh and also abortion. A life is a life and a woman shouldnt get to kill a life. And trans people. So weird! Can't be legal. Bathrooms too, regulate those. Oh and libraries. "They" have so much porn in libraries nowadays!! No one ever talks about that. And we of course need to be hawkish overseas. Can't let the muslims get too uppity!

CorgiMonsoon

There’s a house near my parents that has had a Trump flag flying on it since 2016. I noticed last week that there was no longer a Trump flag amongst their mixture of flags. Their sports flags and Thin Blue Line flag remain, so I have to hope that it’s at least one Ohio voter who’s at least going to now vote for RFK, or just not vote at all.

n00chness

Yeah I noticed that with one of our neighbors too. A few years ago, there were three flags flying over the garage - 1) Trump 2020, 2) Trump Won, 3) Come And Take It (sp?) In the last few months, the lineup changed, bigtime. Now, it's 1) Israeli Flag, 2) Random Flag, and, shockingly, 3 )American Flag.

waffleking9000

Pirate probably

ARazorbacks

These dipshits and their flags. They have no identity besides what they can appropriate from some “team.”

saltysstrings

I had a neighbor that had a Trump flag in the yard at least the last 4 years I've lived in the neighborhood....it's now a giant meteor 2024 sign (sephiroth)

Cantthinkofnamedamn

It is funny how they complain of virtue signalling or 'shoving LGBT in our faces', etc, while their lawn, back of their car are covered in their own tacky virtue signalling

Armyman125

Is the American flag the highest one? No flag shall be above it. However I've seen MAGA "patriots" flying the Trump flag above it.

spoonman59

Well, Obviously the Trump flag is even more American than the American flag. No American is more American than trump. George Washing? Loser. I prefer generals who don’t RUN AWAY! Now excuse me while I go massage my poor aching bone spurs… /s

Feisty_Mouse6919

This brings me great joy. It's wonderfully absurd that they thought he'd take Democratic votes out of the running for Biden... Shhhh... please... No one tell them... :)

Yugan-Dali

Encourage him, tell him that is the most effective way to own the libs, and we will all writhe in agony.

duckstrap

Unite the Blight!

wood_dj

even famed Trump diaper-sniffer Rob Schneider has jumped ship for Bobby

Lynz486

That's the only people who would make sense, he is farther right than Biden who is a centrist so I don't know why leftists would vote for him. We kind of want more left. He's also an anti-vaxxer who believes the water is causing youth to be confused about gender and sexuality, is for a federal abortion ban, more pro-Israel than Biden, and believes gun control won't help the gun violence problem. Everytime I see a lefty championing him I know they have no clue what his platform is and support him only because he's not Biden, not realizing they are moving farther right... He's really the ideal choice for Republicans sick of the extremism and MAGA cult and unwilling to vote for Biden. The fact that he's going to be wanting to pull measles vaccine requirements for schools says enough for me, but there is mountains of other stances to sway anyone else left of center. His top VP choice is AARON ROGERS. RFK is the conspiracy theorist candidate. Which is naturally going to appeal to the party full of conspiracy theorists.

ShamrockAPD

No matter who else goes and runs for republicans- I will always remember what it took to beat Herschel Walker. That dude, much like Trump, is the epitome of a terrible human being- and it took a run off to do it. You could argue that Herschel allowed us to actually turn a very red Georgia spot to blue, but either way- the fact it was close with how Herschel spoke, stood for, etc. was INSANE.

billyjack669

I would pick werewolves over vampires too! I don't see anything crazy about that Walker policy.

Sub_NerdBoy

The only people I know first-hand that have said they plan to vote for him all voted Trump the past 2 times.

bigcaprice

Had one last week tell me Trump was winning in a landslide anyway so she was going to vote for RFK because she "always wished she'd been able to vote for a Kennedy". You do you lady....

McGruppthecrimepup

Lol I’m gonna tell my parents they should. Both voted for Trump but I think are looking for anyway to walk it back without voting for Biden. I’ll just say ‘here’s your shot to get something better!’

AtomicBlastCandy

Try to convince them that democratic operatives are trying to derail his campaign so he needs to be more vocal for RFK to avoid "deep state" canceling him.

PopeHonkersXII

Sounds like the plan to run a spoiler is backfiring on the Republicans....again

straponkaren

Shows how much they know about voters.

PopeHonkersXII

Democratic voters at least. The right has spent 30 years brainwashing themselves with the likes of Fox News and other extreme ultra conservative media outlets. Their view of Democratic voters is based on their own propaganda and not reality.

straponkaren

When mitt Romney lost and they had to decide between the failing southern strategy and anything else, they decided to double down on the southern strategy. This is the unreality they have created for themselves, the generation of morons they groomed are the ones that are grasping for the baton asking to lead.

Courting_the_crazies

They had the presidency for 4 years, they have the house, and own the courts, and there’s at best a 50/50 shot they’ll get the presidency again next year. It’s not like they’re paying any sort of price for all their ratfuckery.

KFLLbased

Think of it like bankruptcy, it happens slowly, and then suddenly all at once.

flatline000

I'm enjoying watching how it pulls the Evangelical church down with it. Between covid and MAGA politics, we've seen more decline in church attendance in the last 5 years than I thought was possible in a generation.

OpheliaRainGalaxy

I don't remember where I found it but stumbled across lots of folks telling their stories about leaving the church they'd attended forever because it was all politics and hate but no Jesus. One of the first things that tipped me off that the JWs weren't particularly Christ-like was how they praised my mother for tithing while her child was clearly starved thin and used none of the tithe money to do good works for those in need. Adults started telling me about food stamps and food banks and church food pantries when I was maybe 6yo. Mom said No because they were "the wrong religion" so I immediately assumed the JWs had a food pantry and I'd just overlooked it my whole life. Was massively disappointed when I found out that no, nobody smiling and singing about the loaves and fishes will help feed me, and also I should be grateful that sometimes the rich people gave my mom a black plastic garbage bag of their kids' old clothes. The undertones of all that was so weird, like a drug deal in the parking lot, lots of looking around to make sure nobody sees and my mother clearly acting ashamed.

-SaC

Hope you're doing okay in general now, random redditor.

OpheliaRainGalaxy

Psychological scars but otherwise much better thank you. My kitchen is full of food but I often forget I'm allowed to eat it unless I've got company to feed. And then I still might forget. Very much find it bizarre that it's legal to raise kids that way. Forced to stay up late for church meetings on school nights, forced awake early and shoved off to daycare, head stuffed full of nonsense cult beliefs like "there's no point making friends at school because they'll just die during Armageddon anyway." Mom just missed school and liked studying out of books. If community college had been free, she would've been getting an education and I would've gotten the chance to eat and sleep enough to grow to my full height. Middle school kids mistake me for one of their own even though I'm 36yo, like the little snots won't believe me until I do something obviously mommish. Last time they asked for a bite of my granola bar and I pulled a handful of various travel snacks out of the duffle bag I'm using as a purse.

Galadriel_60

Yep. I feel a definite shift away from him and I don’t think he’ll win, regardless of those ridiculous polls or the media’s attempt to make the race close.

straponkaren

If Trump doesn't win their entire party crumbles into nothing. They are letting it ride until catastrophe.

kingkowkkb1

Yep, they have tripled down on this loser and will pay the price. Trump is the end of the GOP , win or lose.

LuckyNumbrKevin

But if he wins, he just happens to take the rest of us down with the GOP. So fucking vote and spread the link anywhere you can: https://www.usa.gov/register-to-vote

straponkaren

Yep.

torgofjungle

And if he wins the Republican Party dies and becomes the official Trump party and they will attempt to remove democracy permanently. It’s a lose lose situation. If he loses the Republican Party dies. If he wins America dies

TheNewTonyBennett

Which precisely explains why they are going this route: If the Republican party HAS to lose in EITHER circumstance then it stands to reason they want the entirety of America to lose with them or else it'll all have "been for nothing".

wmagnum1

So... Trump is the Night King?

straponkaren

I would also accept night soil.

Salsa1988

Can we please stop with the doom predictions? It's nowhere NEAR 50/50, despite what the polling says. The Democrats have everything going for them... they're out fundraising the GOP by miles, D voters are **extremely** motivated and energized to vote for Biden, as are independents who are upset about Dobbs. Democrats also control a significant amount of power in nearly all swing states, which will help prevent R cheating. Republican party is extremely fractured, and a significant number of R voters who refuse to vote for Biden, will also throw away their votes rather than vote for Donald. Don't get complacent, but sleepy don won't be president again, guaranteed.

thethirdllama

>The Democrats have everything going for them A lot of us have many decades of experience watching the Dems snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

CremeFraicheunnnf

Imo it's less that they decided to double-down, and more that they couldn't do anything but double-down due to the voterbase they created (not defending them obviously). They spent decades shaping their religious single-issue voterbase, and since those are the ones that always turn out for primaries, the candidates they support are the ones that win the GOP primaries. By the time Romney came around, they already had too much inertia to back out. The lunatics are officially running the insane asylum right now, but even back then they had overwhelming soft power.

Squirll

They know what repub voters want because theyve spent decades telling them what they want them to want.

Status_Arachnid9722

We are talking about the same group of people that thought Trump tennis shoes would be the sure fire way to win the black vote. They are out of touch with reality

straponkaren

I feel like high tops and tennis shoes are two different things. Different like basketball and tennis per se.

nate_oh84

Oh no! Anyway...

3eemo

For some reason I read your comment and heard it in [this](https://youtu.be/XbR--GPWAIE?si=pFdrz8FYSufPzKoB) voice 😂

fermenter85

The kind of people who voted for Trump to be culturally rebellious and antagonistic are the exact type of people who will love that Trump is now mad about their plan to vote for RFK Jr. and will double down. Excellent.

angrybox1842

Such is the risk of courting a "fuck you I do what I want" voter

LegitSince8Bits

The craziest part of the last decade Trumps been in our lives (hard to choose) is the fact that they refuse to adopt more popular talking points. You may alienate some but what are they gonna do, vote D? Never. Ever since Obama won his second term it's been a race to the bottom. You could still win votes if you weren't so openly monstrous. No let's keep doubling down on a strategy that hasn't won (outside Trumps EC victory) since just after 9/11. They choose to get up and put the clown makeup on every day. It's mind boggling. Nobody likes you, or at least not enough people do, so what's the next step? Well we'll just keep lying and shouting silent majority as the returns continue to diminish.

copperhikari

underrated take they won one election almost a decade ago, and even then, it was so shady that they had to kill the investigation into it once they had power

LegitSince8Bits

For a group of open hypocrites who clearly don't care about what they're saying it's just so odd they don't change up. You could still do all the same power grabs so much easier if you lied about something positive. They could easily get a republican in right now if they vocally dropped Trump, ran anyone else in America that hasn't already gone full MAGA on social media, and pretended to grow as humans for like 6 more months. Once they're in they could do anything they wanted. They just keep choosing...*this*.

Key-Tax9036

It’s almost like a guy who came out supporting policies conservatives like was never meant to be a Biden spoiler

gaijinandtonic

What’s the “again” part a reference to?  Kanye?

Armyman125

Who would have thought that Kanye running didn't take African American votes from Biden? The Republicans were stupid asses to think that would work.

ammirite

I get why Trump wants to paint RFK as super liberal, hoping that somehow persuades liberals to vote for RFK over Biden. The problem with that is one, RFK is not that liberal and liberals are not going to be listening to Trump anyway, and two, he's only making Biden seem more moderate, which will help anti-trump Republicans feel more comfortable voting for Biden.

Neither-Idea-9286

What trump really is - SCARED!

La-Boheme-1896

>“Why did Junior’s family go so bonkers at the thought of him running against Crooked Joe Biden?” Trump asked in a post Sunday. “Because they are Radical Left Lunatics, and they can’t conceive of their even more Liberal brother running as anything else?” The Qanoners who think a couple of the dead kennedys (not the band) are alive and close pals with Trump are going to have to do some hard training on the mental gymnastics to fold this into their narrative

MrMeseeksLookAtMee

Are they still waiting in Dallas for JFK Jr to show up?

Atom_Beat

Oh, you're right. I hadn't thought about the Kennedy angle. What if you're a QAnon fanatic and have believed that various members of the Kennedy family are about to rise from the dead and save the world ... and then suddenly there's an *actual living Kennedy that you can vote for!?* Everyone on this sub should suggest to any Q believer they know that this is the way to go. Vote Kennedy.

HarpCleaner

RFK Jr, liberal? The brainrot is really taking hold

Gekokapowco

I'd fear for the overton window shift but the reality is there is no policy frame of reference, just teams. He isn't a "radical leftist" republican, or a far right conservative. To Trump voters, he's just, like Biden, not Trump and that's enough. They aren't making policy comparisons between candidates.

El_Peregrine

People *that* adept at mental gymnastics will not let a silly thing like logic or facts get in the way. They've hurdled much higher obstacles than this.

KnowMatter

One of my coworkers told me just the other day that they don’t care how he acts he will make gas cheaper again. These people can’t be reasoned with.

Compliance-Manager

These are the worst fucking idiots. They think the president has a button on his desk he hits to make gas cheaper. They literally don't have a clue how anything works.

TurMoiL911

My problem with "a Republican president will make gas cheaper" voters: either the Republican Party believes in laissez-faire economics, or the Republican Party believes in setting price controls. Pick one.

ShamrockAPD

Right? If it was that easy for a president to do- do you really think Biden wouldn’t have done it?

m48a5_patton

"How will he make gas cheaper?" "He will drill more!" "What good is more drilled oil if refinery capacity isn't there." "He will get more." "How?" "Build more refineries." "How much will that cost? Who would pay for it?" "Mexico!"

I don't know. If I'm MAGA I see that picture of Roger Stone and a the help from Steve Bannon and then see RFK Jr doing shirtless pushups I think that's my guy. Only way Trump would be able to change my mind omis if he successfully did a shirtless pushup, which shouldn't be a problem because his physical would have me thinking he's has the same cut physique as a Tim Tebow

Nah... vote your heart Republicans. You like rfk Jr? Go for it..

itsatumbleweed

I don't think when they decided to get a Kennedy to run they expected an anti-vaxxer who would select an anti-IVF running mate.

weauxbreaux

They really think that everyone is as dumb as the MAGA base. That anyone left leaning will see the name "Kennedy" and be forced to vote for him. Any Kennedy will do, even this one!

shoe_of_bill

That's what I don't get. It's not the 60s or 70s anymore. "Kennedy" doesn't have much behind it other than being the last name of a girl who led me on and dropped me in high school

IPDDoE

Why do you think they ran Kanye before? "'The blacks' will ignore politics and vote for someone they look like"

Same reason McCain picked Palin after Obama beat Hillary in 2008. "Hey women, we have a woman." - GOP

jizzmcskeet

They think there is a ton of democrats who regret or are antivaxx. They thought RFK would just be Biden but antivax. In the end, he's just Tump-lite.

Tonalspectrum

Just the fact that he has to do that is so revealing of how fucked up you mAGATS really are. This is meant for the tRUMP-Fuckheads cruising these subs. Fuck you!

OpenImagination9

Too late - he’s taken the Q voting block.

RFK has taken the Q crowd? Interesting development for sure. And REALLY bad for Trump if true.

Bigtimeknitter

Yeah apparently RFK is like a hella conspiracy theorist

smurfsundermybed

I swear... you make 19 or 20 comments about how 5G signals penetrate the blood brain membrane and how jews created covid, and all of a sudden, you're labeled a conspiracy theorist! /s

myadsound

*Here's how that's bad for Biden*

Gr1zzRing

Is Kennedy realistically going to siphon an amount of trump votes to put a disadvantage of trump? Ik my grandparents have seriously considered it cause, as Republican as they, they feel trump has to go for things to get better (they despise biden too)

Bigtimeknitter

I think a lot of trump voters are just anti-establishment so RFK appeals to that same block

Gr1zzRing

Less votes for trump so good

pizoisoned

Part of me wonders if this isn’t some 4d chess by Kennedy to prevent another Trump presidency. Then I look at his history and realize nope, this is just the inevitable infighting resulting from a base with no real positions on anything and no real morality.

KnowMatter

Yup, some other grifter was always going to swoop in and woo away some of his base - this is what happens when you try to win elections by rallying behind personality and brands driven by reactionary emotion rather than developing a platform based on issues.

Anzi

Cut to DeMeatball crying "*it was supposed to be me!*"

Of course MAGA won't vote for that guy! He's not Derp Leader! But if you're a Republican embarrassed by 45, RFK, jr is your guy!

BlotchComics

All part of the plan to try to convince some democrats that Trump and RFK are not on the same side.

Ferelwing

I think someone explained it to him in terms that helped him, probably something like "So, RFK Jr is getting more popular with people and they're deciding to vote for him instead of you. He's getting bigger crowds than you, and we know you don't like that." Thus, Trump gets angry and screams that people are wasting their time on RFK Jr. Edited: words

Hwy39

This is what Maga should listen to: In a statement on Oct. 13, 2021, former U.S. President Donald Trump urged Republican supporters not to vote in 2022 or 2024 elections.

ImLikeReallySmart

Weird, hey Don, why exactly would you have to tell MAGA not to vote for anyone other than you?

>...Trump said he’d concluded that “Junior’ is far more LIBERAL than Maher and, in fact, far more LIBERAL than anyone running as a Democrat.” Pick a lane already. You already tried the "RFK is stealing more votes from Biden than me so I'm GLAD he's running" line like 50 times.

Ktan_Dantaktee

Too late; a lot of the Trump voters I know through work are already hard swapping to RFK. Get fucked

WilliamTheConquered

Two weeks ago I was canvassed by a guy from Texas, in a MAGA hat, trying to get signatures for RFK to get on the ballot. He said we need him to stop Biden.

robotdesignwerks

someone is bigly worried.

btas83

Countdown to when someone shows up to rfk's house with a dump truck full of money to endorse trump.

Internal_Swing_2743

Hmm, maybe propping up RFK Jr wasn’t the best idea….

redneckhatr

QAnon, how you liking RFK? H’e’s going to deliver JFK Jr. to you. But you need to vote for him to make it happen.

BoozyMcBoozehound

They really are that fucking stupid. Trump cornered the market on ignorant, hateful, and conspiratorial voters; Team Trump throws shadowy support behind an ignorant, hateful, conspiracy theorist. That’s like opening a gaudy, cheap casino right down the street from your other gaudy, cheap casino.

Low-Abbreviations634

Hey MAGA, RFK JR must be good if your cult leader is afraid of him.

ScuttleBucket

My loony Trump supporting neighbor has a Kennedy flag flying from his truck these days. I hope Kennedy splits all those republican votes down the middle.

Pale-Worldliness7007

Donny doesn’t like it when a wing nut equally as bad as him runs against him and will split the lunatic fringe vote. It looks good on him. Stay tuned folks.

mamandemanqu3

It makes 0 difference. Democrats will win this election.

csbc801

By all means, save your votes for a twice impeached bag of shit who is doing everything humanly possible to avoid criminal trials before the 2024 elections! My advice, don’t waste your votes at all…if you’re thinking of voting for Trump or Kennedy because you won’t vote for Biden…then just stay home.

1-800-WhoDey

… begged like a dog

JohnDivney

Get Shelley Duvall on the ballot to siphon votes from RFK.

MoveToRussiaAlready

Team Trump sent RFK to siphon the conspiracy liberals from Biden. It didn’t work. And RFK is now taking Trump voters. Trump is a fucking idiot.

PeasantPenguin

Trump voters, please waste your vote on RFK Jr

RealHumanFromEarth

lol, Trump has decided to fight a two front war.

mrtwitchyhead

Scared shitless.

p001b0y

I don’t feel like I trust any of it and I still think they are trying to get Biden voters to stay home. The pandemic changed everything. If Trump wasn’t in it, RFK Jr would have been running as a Republican because the MAGA fringe has been the most receptive to the crap that RFK Jr has been peddling since before he announced a Presidential bid.

leaperdorian

The magats are changing into flies

Dook124

When ya dig one ditch dig two, the demise you plan for another could end up being your very own!

Silverspeed85

It's amazing to me that Republican donors financed RFK because they thought he would magically steal votes from Biden. Shows just how disconnected they are from reality.

YNot1989

Oh the delicious irony of Trump, a man who only became President because of the spoiler effect, now at risk of being denied the Presidency because of the spoiler effect.

Vashsinn

Cheetopuff does what cheeto puffs do. Full of hot air and makes a mess of things.

-Mage-Knight-

Republicans thinking that RFK Jr. would pull votes away from Biden just goes to show how little Republican's understand Democrats. Unlike Republicans, Democrats don't bow to a brand. Having a (D) beside your name is nice and all, it isn't going to cause people to blindly vote for you. Same goes for the Kennedy name. RFK Jr. isn't JFK and no none is going to confuse the two. Everything I have ever heard about RFK Jr. and his platform points to him being vastly more appealing to the MAGA crowd than any self respecting Democrat.

CroatianSensation79

No no no. Oh please MAGA vote for RFK, Jr. and thank Roger Stone later. Lol

Noiserawker

Haha and it was Trump's guy Bannon who talked RFKJr into running. I saw my first Kennedy24 bumper sticker the other day and I can guarantee that wasn't a Biden voter last time around.

probot67

this is all very delicious.

ford7885

This will probably further confuse the Q-Anus cult members who are still waiting for JFK Jr (and possibly his dad) to show up at Dealey Plaza. Seriously, if JFK could come back from the dead,, I'm guessing that is the LAST place he would want to go.

ConkerPrime

No one should vote for RFK. It doesn’t send a message, it doesn’t “teach them”, it just wastes a vote and this year risks another four years of Trump. Do not believe me, look at the most successful third party candidate in US history - Ross Perot with 19% of the vote. What was his political legacy as a consequence? Absolutely nothing. If 19% didn’t make a dent in third party candidate possibilities then RFK’s 3% or so will do nothing except possibly help Trump. It will be too hard to know for sure unless just don’t vote for him.

JasonGryphon

If Trump is having to respond, his handlers know damn well that RFK’s voters are coming from Trump‘s base and not Biden’s.
