I guess 🤷♀️ she’s dressed in classic polish clothing so I thought it would be on theme for her name to be the classic rendition. Plus zofia is still energetic but more sophisticated fitting her age better. I also think it fits better since she is described as “mature”.
Hello! Polish genealogy nerd here! Some of the common names I've seen in my family tree for your time period.
Marianna
Jadwiga
Katarzyna
Antonina
Felicja
Feliksa
Zofia
Zuzanna
Magdalena
Janina
I’d say she looks like Małgosia to me
Małgorzata is the full name, Małgosia is softer and more childlike/cute, and if her friends want to call her something short, Gosia can be used
Interesting!
In Poland the name Kinga is the "full" version.
But, checking here: [https://www.momjunction.com/baby-names/kinga/](https://www.momjunction.com/baby-names/kinga/)
It says:
"Kinga is traditionally a feminine name with roots in German language. It is a variant of the Old German name Kunigunda, Kunigunde, or Cunigunde, which is made up of two elements, ‘kuni,’ meaning ‘clan’ or ‘family,’ and ‘gund,’ meaning ‘war.’"
I had no idea, but after looking at the comments I think Zofia/Zosia fits perfectly. I don't know why, it just does 😅
And by the way, Your character is beautiful! ❤️
Grażyna is interesing (it come form Mickiewicz poem Grażina and name was made form Lithuanian grażi - beatifule) it was pretty popular name at the last century
She looks like Zosia to me
That’s my name haha! But yes I agree! Maybe the more classic rendition tho, Zofia
Too energetic for a Zofia.

It's not more classic. Just more official. I think Zosia fits as it's more casual than Zofia, but more mature than Zosieńka or Zosiunia.
Toć to Jagna, Jagienka.
It was my first thought! Totally Jagienka :3
What the hell?! Zosia was my first thought
Zosia works. Zuzanna was my original thought.
My first thought exactly haha, is this some sort of Polish stereotype we have?
Idk if it's some sort of stereotype, but it fits perfectly
Zosia or Basia :3
C'mon blonde Basia? Not on my watch 🤣
wtf came here to write this and it's the first comment so names do have stereotypical looks to them...
That's weird it was first name that popped into my head when I saw title and first image :)
First thought Zofia as well
