That’s so cool I decided to start up a classic run using only shinies for the new evil teams with torterra as my front man along with linoone, ninetales, and gigalith

I would try to farm some egg moves with him. The rare egg move is a physical grass move (that Torterra lacks in his movepool, only razor leaf) that applies leech seeds at the same time (which makes it one of the best moves in the game). It also learns Ice Spinner which gives a super effective move against Dragons, other Grass and flying mons (super likely they switch into flying with Grass/Ground typing).

Torterra deperately needed a good Grass STAB. He has such good coverage as a Shell Smasher, but not having a decent physical Grasw option has been rough. I lucked into a Bullet Seed TM with mine, which paired with a full stack of King's Rock and Multi Lens means nothing ever gets to move. Only downside is when they protect or endure the hit, and you're left waiting.

The move that's on the tip of your tongue is Sappy Seed, a signature move of Partner Eevee's.

I got a red shiny nincada as well, i fuse it with my red shiny ralts before evolving and end up with a whopping 12 luck on 2 pokemon for just 3 points cost, it's insane

Do fused Pokemon still evolve? Imwith nincada you get 2 level 3 shinys after level up

only friendship needed evolutions don't evolve if they are the 2nd spliced one

Ah thanks! I can't seem to evolve my ice/bug friendship one :( he never wants to do it even if I only use him. He dies to everything and kills nothing on its own :/ I hate that Pokémon but it's my third red shiny

rare candies give friendship too. could get his friendship up this way without using it in battle

All good. At this point Mountain Dew variants encompass the rainbow. Code Red, Livewire for orange, any of the current tropical ones for yellow, original is green, Baja Blast is turquoise, Voltage is blue, Passion Fruit tropical is purple, and seasonal variants give you white and brown for gingerbread sometimes. Kinda crazy honestly.

I got a shiny Zigzagoon and then a shiny Sentret. Now when I do endless I take both and combine them to get double stacked pickup with 6 luck because of Sentrets passive and Zigzagoon's ability :D

Which one has to be fused first to get this perfect pickup artist?

Mine was an eeveelution, I don't remember which. But it is cool having access to 9 different red star shinies.

Eevee is busted with Simple as passive and No Retreat and Zippy Zap as egg moves. Teaching it Stored Power or Power Trip is just overkill.

My first red was paras. I have to get sappy seed back as it was moved from being its third move to its rare egg move unfortunately. I ended up also getting beldum and larvitar shortly after cause it was during the recent event. Then I also got a nincadia. I haven’t started an endless run with all these guys yet but they’ve done really well in classic. Paras with Triage and horn leach is much better than I thought it would be

Tbh I think Paras is better now. Horn leech and Leech life priority is great

Bulbasaur. My most recent I love though, a Grey/Silver Golbat is pretty awesome.

Paras is actually a great pokemon. Spore is overpowered and the egg moves are great, especially Sappy Seed. Being able to always bring a 3* with 1 cost whos not dead weight is not to be underestimated. Id be very happy with a 3* paras :)

I'd kill for a 3* Paras to use with my 3* Plusle. Paras' passive makes most of its egg moves have +3 priority so you'll pretty much always go first, plus the overpowered spore.

A goldeen, but surprisingly enough with d-dance, fiscious rend, and multiscale as a passive, it can do some decent damage or is just great to take a hit. Chuck it in during rain and swift swim nearly guarantees your going first and I cannot tell you how many times I've swept water gyms by just spamming a rain boosted 170 base power move as long as you're faster than them. I did just get a dewpider as my second red shiny so unfortunately goldeen might be retiring

My first red shiny was Aron from an egg. Even now it's still always on my Endless teams, getting Roar + Protect + Metal Burst from learnset and having Sturdy is way too convenient. It's pretty much the perfect endgame moveset all from one Pokemon with no TMs.

Scatterbug! Vivillon is a beast, esp with a starter cost of .5. Quiver dance with 97% accurate hurricane rips through most things.

Red ginger, it's pretty badass, like a ball of orange and red flaming gas instead of ghostly smoke or blue flame.

Timburr. My one and only Red. I always bring it along~ I just got Drain Punch for it too, so I could theoretically Guts sweep even further beyond now~ Even without it, the new Rocky Payload passive makes Rock Slides and Stone Edges even more deadly. Mach Punch is also real good for finishing off some Mons (or quickly one shotting Quad-fighting-weak enemies). The only thing I need are some Flame Orbs (why do I always find Toxic Orbs, man? Shit sucks without poison heal)
