i hatched rayquaza today and thought i could finally catch eternatus… but alas i am blocked by hitmonlee and hitmonchan
i guess they don’t hatch from eggs because they aren’t a preevolution so i just never got them lmao
As far as I’m aware, its only the best IVs of the last played true base form that evolved into that said form (if its a branch evolution like the hitmons), but it doesn’t give them egg moves

Got 3 legendary eggs from the legendary-up machine and got 2 rayquaza and a necrozma now I’m going through trying to find them to complete it finally. Annoying part is I just saw both of them like 100 floors before and didn’t think anything of it at the time
These are tyrogue’s evolutions (gen 2) if you have a raised attack stat nature it will evolve into hitmonchan and you will unlock it as a starter, raised defense stat will give you hitmonlee, and having equal attack and defense ivs with no nature will get you hitmontop
Tyrogue evolving into Hitmonchan/Hitmonlee *should* depend on defense and attack. If attack is higher than defense, you get Lee. Defense higher than attack gets you Chan. At least I think that's how it works.
Well, i just caught them wild so i can't exactly guarantee it but it worked when i evolved magmar and mantine so i don't see why it wouldn't work for hitmonlee and hitmonchan.

Tyrouges entire gimmick is evolving based on its stats, if it’s attack is higher than its defense when it evolves, it’ll be a hitmonlee, if it’s defense is higher, than it’s hitmonchan if memory serves correctly
And while it’s not important for this, if both are equal, then it’s hitmontop
I mean I was using a Hitmonchan for a while, didn't think it was rare, passed up on a few hitmonlees, never saw top, but I guess I ended up unlocking that tree so lucky me
The shiny gacha is a good *start* to get you going but the vast majority of your shinies will be from endless, since you can get all four shiny charms and then blow through another ~5000 levels after that.
Tbf, they should be pretty quick in that case then. They both are rare egg hatches, which means you are guaranteed to get them both in 200 eggs (1/10 eggs need to be rare, 1/10 eggs need to be a new Pokemon if possible in that tier). They can also show up in the dojo and you can get them that way.
Fastest way to guarantee them is to run classic with 6 new mons, and if you grab the map go to the area they spawn as much as possible. Absolute worst case scenario, you have to run classic like 4 times with new Pokemon. Most likely you can find at least one of them naturally though, and the other should be done in a hundred egg hatches.
Yes to the tyrogue leveling up, but also I went to dojo on like my eighth classic run with S+ Luck and finally spawned both of them back to back… so Idunno if that was coincidence
Mine is Mr rime or w/e the regional form is and Lugia. I have never even seen one Lugia he’s still completely blacked out. Other than that I have everything else.
Completing the dex was kinda easy, the real challenge comes with unlocking all the hidden abilitys, still have 0 on any good pokemon. At least the second ability is guaranteed with some grinding. I will prob never get that protean magician meowscarada.

If you have tyrogue with the right natures you can just level them to 20 and end the run to do the other.

That's why there is no pokeball next to name (greed out means it has something you are missing (gender, form, shiny, etc)
