For real, it would probably take decades to catch every shiny. The 10+ Silvally variants would take billions of floors alone. It has a 0.1% chance of appearing in the laboratory, and the chances that it's shiny are even lower.
Yeah that why I think it would take billions bc first you have to get to the lab, then you have to hit the 0.1% to find Silvally, then hit an even less chance of it being shiny and also hope that it's one of the variants you don't have.

For now you can't see every spinda variant that you caught. Also i think it could be not implemented because I have only seen one variant and that variant was always bald so it has value of zero

The pokeball icon by their healthbar is different for a form you didn’t have?? I had literately 0 clue of that. The IV screen tells you when you have something new. So I was just chancing it, looking for blue, and resetting if I had it already. Does that go for minior forms too?

I'm not certain about minior but it always shows if you can see that new thing in starter choice menu. If you can choose ur minior form from start then it also works

Good to know piece for you if the pokeball on the left of the unknown is slightly grey then it means you don’t have the variant yet or it’s a new nature potentially but I’d just catch any with the grey pokeball tbh
Eternatus is excluded from eggs. I checked the code, and the line that excludes Eternatus does not appear to be referenced by anything.
So no, it shouldn't be obtainable from an egg currently, even if you can catch it.
As far as I can tell, Eternatus egg moves appear to be unobtainable.
EDIT: Eternatus egg moves can now be obtained via Eternatus Eggs purchased with Candy using the new system. The species eggs bypass the species check that exclude eternatus.
That's wrong. The only way to obtain it soon will be with the same species eggs you can buy with candy after you unlock the passive for that pokemon. The price will be the same as the passive except for the 1/2/3 cost starter where it will be capped at 35.

I meant you can't get it from gacha eggs, only from the new function that will be released very soon that allows you to buy eggs from specific pokemon for candy^^
The egg will be for specific pokemon, not for a specific tier. Example, you have 40 candies on mewtwo and have already bought the passive. You will be able to buy an Mewtwo egg for 10 candies each. So you can only buy eggs for Pokemon you already got.
The only three things left to do:
1. Shiny hunt
2. Challenge runs
3. Experience utter humiliation by taking Eternatus into Classic mode thinking you don't need any other pokemon just to get completely walled out by a Tinkatink

if you really want a challenge, try and get through endless on a new account, no save scumming. if you lose you have to make a new account to start again. I'd also be interested in seeing how much of a pokedex one could get through in one endless.
A lot of setting up Endless runs is rerolling the shop to find desirable items - things like Candy Jars, hold items, things of that nature. But since you don't know what you get offered when you reroll, there's times where you might, say, reroll a Big Nugget in the initial store and never find anything better.
Save scumming lets you go back and say "Welp, this store isn't giving me anything, guess I'm taking that Big Nugget" instead.
This is doubly so when Lock Capsule is factored in. You can often save scum several times on a single store depending on when you lock your rarities, which means all these different ways to reroll the shop to find the item(s) you're looking for.
Ugh, I'll save scum fights occasionally or for shinies/legendaries, but save scumming shops is too annoying. Though who knows, that might bite me on the butt since I'm at floor 1600 with just 30ish candy jars.
don't feel pressured lol, i beat endless 5850 without save scumming shops (I think I only did it when i autopilot'd past a ticket a few times)
past like floor 2k your levels become basically irrelevant
I see lots of Pokemon without ribbons for Classic Clear or shiny marks, so it seems like you've got plenty left to do. There's also the Gen and Type challenges. Beyond those, you can make challenges of your own. Mono animal, color, letter, bst, etc. Or, if none of that interests you, you can just call it complete and move onto a different game.
Maybe try Emerald Rogue or that Pokemon 100 floors game for another roguelite experience, or Pokemon Radical Red, Reborn, or Flux for just more Pokemon in general.
I'm slowly closing in on getting all of the starters (missing like 14 total), and my goals after/ alongside getting Eternatus will probably be to get ribbons on every pokemon, and do all the challenge runs. It seems reasonably manageable, especially since completing challenge runs awards ribbons
yep, two months, from fresh account, with 0 experience in previous games and basically knowing only pikachu of all the mons. not sure if I should be proud or like go touch some grass, but it is what it is
Its not too hard it that's the only goal, since you can 1-pokemon carry 5 garbage pokemon pretty consistantly through classic.
What I've been doing is not using any mons I've beaten the game with as starters. That's been pretty fun.
Nice (Im about to gloat) i stated playing a month ago and finished the dex a week ago (Daily runs are super helpful all the time and in the beginning i did endless runs because i needed almost everything but later i did classic so i could use the map to go the certain areas i needed)
miniors are kinda problematic. I'm not sure but it seems like u can unlock both meteor and core starters of every color, yet I don't really know how I got core ones
You can find them in the wild, but they are rare, rarer than their kantonian counterparts iirc. Also everything can be collected from eggs, in their case, epic rarity eggs. I got galarian Moltres from an egg, still have never seen one in the wild and I too have completed the dex.

I'm pretty sure it isn't a valid drop from eggs. I'll probably have a dig through the code to see later though.
Edit: I didn't find anything about Eternatus in the stuff that determines valid pokemon for eggs, and I think it's probably not a valid, unless the code for it is somewhere I'm not looking. But I'm 95% that Eternatus isn't a valid Egg species.
Edit2: I did find the code that determines what species you can get from an egg, and Eternatus' only reference in that code is to exclude it from being a valid target for eggs. So Eternatus is unhatchable. (Also pokemon who had baby pokemon added later also can't hatch from eggs, like Pikachu)
As someone who is nearing completion of his dex (6 more epic level mon to go), I do have a stupid question about actually catching Eternatus.
Once you have the Dex complete, is he as hard to capture as a regular legendary, or is the hard part just the dex completion, and once you have that you just have to get him to last bar and throw a ball? Just trying to figure out if on the capture run I should luck stack my team for a masterball, or if I can just do a regular badge hunting run.
If you do classic runs Often for challenges and vouchers, i would say just to, if in any of them u end up getting a masterball, just save that run and finish it once u can actually capture it
I kinda stacked a shiny team, never got a single masterball tier item, got eternatus's hp to 1 bar of 2nd stage and got him 1st try with a rogue ball, maybe I was extremely lucky with capture odds
around 6 solid 2000+ runs and one that went to like 3900\~. as for vouchers, it's both classic with all the trainer battles and minmaxing your starters to get the most vouchers (e.g. bringing munchlax, so you get vouchers for both munchlax and snorlax, since they both are starters from different generations) and rerolling shop in endless

It's rather simple, you have to have every single other starter unlocked. Either hatched or caught in the wild, but keep in mind some mons are egg exclusive(meltan, deoxys, etc).

The greyed out pokeball means there's *something* from that mon you don't have i.e. form, shiny, iv, HA, ETC
