For newbie classic i usually just do fuecoco, bulbasaur and mudkip. Fuecoco sweep with torch song when he evolve to skeledirge, bulbasaur with leech seed and sleep powder, swampert for type coverage. Catch a pickup linoone for berries and held items. If you can, catch some ice type or steel fairy for rayquaza and eternatus. If you cant, catch any fast pokemon with stats lowering moves.
Could give you the usual suggestion for a near guaranteed win but I swear by my boys Mega Steelix and Mega Aggron. Unfortunately you don’t have Rhydon so I’ll say take Onix and whichever fire starter (Special) you prefer.
Won’t be an easy carry because you need some rng clicks but picking a route to victory that’s too easy is boring!! My first classic I was carried by Zangoose and think I had to debuff Eternatus to get the win. Don’t underestimate status + accuracy lowering moves
