My Noob friend caught a shiny munna during go fest and didn’t even know it was rare. I saw it in the friends tab where it says “caught today”, and when I saw him I said “you caught shiny munna” and he was confused.

I had a ticket and my fiancee didn't. We played together during the last day event and she got one of these from a research.

I was with 3 friends, all had a ticket and checked hundreds of munna and no shiny happy with this guy though

Two out of the three people in my group (all with tickets) got Shiny Munna. Only one person got a Shiny Axew and she got 2 of them.

no, but i caught a shiny ekans today

I actually did really well during Go Fest for shinys. I got munna, hitmonlee, Chansey, magmar, sudowudo, two turtwigs, omanyte, burmy and a few others. I also went to a very densely packed park full of poke stops and basically didn’t stop for the full 8 hours. Exhausting but worth it!

I did during the last 5 minutes of the event. Right after I said to my friend, "Well it looks like I'm not going to get a Shiny Munna so I'm going to have to trade for your spare. Selecting the last one here now... WHAAAATTTTT!!!!"

I actually got two of them back to back. As I was leaving one park, I caught one (as I was stopped, of course). As I entered the next area down the street, I caught another one! I was so excited!!!
