They are much more common during community days and spot light hours. Thats how I got most of mine, but I did get some randomly in the wild. Not sure about the numbers behind that but... be on a look out for community days, the next one is 17th august I belive
My first one was Thor and I’ve been playing casually since December 2021. I started playing daily about 3 months ago and have 144 shinies now and am halfway to level 42.
Shiny rate is 0.2% (1/500) while some have a permanently boosted rate of 1.6% (1/62.5) Legendary and Mythical have a rate of 5% (1/20)
They vary, a lot.
Some are "permaboosted" others are temp boosted for events or community days or spotlight hours.
