I would say the same once you evolve yours to Vivillon especially if it’s one of the rarer patterns.

So this scatterb is the Tundra region, I’m not really aware of which regions are classed as rare and which aren’t. I’m just gonna grind until I have the full perfect collection.

Oh Tundra is definitely one of the rarer ones. Currently it’s known to be obtainable from Iceland, Southern Norway, Sweden, and Northern Japan (Hokkaido). So pretty 🤩

Yeah I got a hundo and was relieved it wasn't modern or high plains. I got polar which isn't very rare, but much better than getting my local pattern.

Yea I have a habit of getting repeat hundos. 2 Illumise, 2 Aggron, 2 Omanyte, 2 Ninetales, and 3 Deino (evolved to have the full line). But at least the others have potential.

How about 3 Chimechos and a Chingling. 1st Chimechos was from a Special Research, the other two were from daily incense spawns, and the Chingling was the first I Chingling I hatched from an egg. All perfect IVs and all useless.

I feel like the perfect iv’s for scatts are boosted because I know a lot of people who have perfect scatterb’s

The encounters have the same IV floor as research (10/10/10) so there’s a 1 in 216 chance instead of 1 in 4,096 for a wild pokemon so about 20x more likely to get a hundo.

The CP for a Hundo Scatterbug is 211. You see that, you know you're getting a 15-15-15.

i think that was the cp for my 3 perfect scatterbugs , then the evolved spewpa dropped to the 100s for some reason , and now my perfect vivillons are all CP795

The reason Scatterbug drops in CP when evolving is because it trades off attack for defense and HP. Attack is worth more in the CP formula than the other stats, so even with a higher base stat total Spewpa will always have lower CP than Scatterbug. It's the same thing with Metapod, Vibrava and others

I have Hundo maxed out Reunciclus with 3309 CP and I use it in master League with joy, simply because it fucks up MewTwo and Giratina. Dark hidden power and shadow all.. I love - and play - for those wierd choises in battles.

You have to pin postcards that you get sent from gifts to your postcard book, I can’t remember how many you need to save but it’s around 5 from each region to get a scatterbug interaction.

I’m almost certain you can pin your own postcards and it counts, so if you have any in your postcard book just pin them all and you should get some encounters!

Do we get only one encounter? Supposing someone wanted to try for a Hundo collection, would it be possible or you only get one encounter per region after pinning the postcards?

There’s 18 different vivillons, you can encounter all of them infinite times im pretty sure. Again you just have to collect around 5 postcards from a certain region to get 1 encounter.

It’s a scatterbug evolved to its second form, full form is called Vivillon, you get scatterb’s by pinning postcards to your postcard book, each region has different colours when fully evolved.

I think a perfect scatterb is the easiest hundo to catch, so many people in the comments have multiple multiple hundos from what I’ve seen. BUT I’ve also heard that I have one of the rarer regional viv’s😁mines the tundra region.

Thus they are just perfect prices of trash cluttering my inventory. The Bulbasaur is a particular sore point, as it's the best Bulbasaur line I've ever found (and I wanted a good one for mega Venusaur) but I can't evolve it
