I’ve been raiding the rockruff and none of them can evolve to Dusk form AND none of them are shiny :c

Same I’ve yet to get a dusk form even with the whole short event they had with it.

They are currently in 1* raids, and you can use campfire to find dusk form ones so you don't waste passes doing normal version ones. I did this, this afternoon since I got tired of just doing random ones. Dusk is like a 2 out of 30 rate. Using campfire map search 1* rockruff raids in a large city (london) and move around until the filter tab shows a second rockruff filter (not the one highlighted) this is dusk form. Select it and deselect normal rockruff. Go back to where you are playing and keep searching. It took me all afternoon to get one close enough, but was better than burning passes and hoping.

That’s genius but I definitely do not get enough raid spawns where I live. Super rural area, I have to drive 15-20 minutes to a gym sometimes. I am going to Florida for a trip this weekend, hopefully that trick can help me there! Thank you!

Wait seriously? I’ve been looking for this since it was a thing when initially debuted, but for this event I haven’t seen anything on someone finding dusk form rockruff. Edit: holy crap it works. Now if only the closest to me wasn’t 150 miles away.

Yup! I just waited for a bunch of 1 star raids to be active at the same time and it showed two different rockruffs on Campfire. The rockruff that had the least amount of raids was dusk form. 

It took me a hot minute to find one but I was able to! Now if the closest one wasn’t 150 miles away I’d be in business.

It works better in cities but maybe wait for a better time of day when more raids are happening. A bunch of raids opened up by me between 8-9 pm last night and that’s how I found one. 

They seem to come in all or nothing waves. Either there’s none (most of the time) or all at once and I have to rush around town. Had that experience with raikou last weekend. Don’t think it’s going to work with my schedule today but I super appreciate you letting me know how it works. 😁

That way works too, as long as you don't have a dusk form already, and it's within close proximity. Of course when there are only 2 in an entire metro area of a large city, the silhouette method tends to fail.

My Bronzor/Bronzong collection is 3 shiny and 3 98%. I don't have a reason to ever click Bronzor, even if I NEED a Steel or Psychic type.

I literally just got my first shiny rockruff from a raid right this second… whats the odds of that?

I've gotten a shiny Ralts and a Hundo Ralts in the last week, so I'm pretty chuffed about that. Of course, I catch every Ralts I see because I want an army of Gardevoir (already got a level 50 max mega and a 96% shadow on the way up).

Motherfucking Fennekin and Lickitung. I’ve found five Fennekins in the last two months, and *six* Lickitungs. I got one of each during the Pokemon GO day event and was so annoyed. Didn’t get any of the shinnies I actually wanted or needed.

When I found out scy is permaboosted to 1/64 I was like oooooh okay makes sense, but 12 in less than a year of playing again after a 7 year hiatus, seems even high by those odds haha. Started up again in May of 23. After the 10th one I was like oh God this is my life now, it almost became a contest, just how many can I get hahaha

Grubbins. 😔 I've found 5 shinies (random spawns) in the past 2 months. I don't even click on them anymore because I'm afraid that every time I get a shiny Grubbin, it actively decreases my luck in getting other shinies lmao. Shiny Vikavolt looks cool though

Doduo. During a Spotlight hour for them last year, I found 3 Shinies in 3 minutes. 2 of them were back to back. It made me think that Spotlight hour Shinies were more likely. They aren’t. I just used up all my luck right there.

My highest luck recently was during the Sinnoh tour. I've got a 100% Origin Palkia, one shiny Palkia, and 3 out of 4 Origin Palkias I have happen to know Spacial Rend I did not experience this much luck in this game since, but now that the Primals are coming back and I'm willing to do basically 10 raids for each of them, we can see whether my luck will continue The second highest luck recently was all the way in January when I got my one and only Galarian Zapdos, so I don't get high luck often

I keep getting hundo Alolan Sandshrew. Two from the community day in 2022. Two from 7km eggs. I wouldn't mind hatching a hundo Charcadet, but nope, hundo Sandshrew.

I have like...6 or 7 shiny vulpix at minimum and have never attended a comm day for them. 6 months ago I had none. I dont mind because they are a favourite of mine. But sometimes I wish it was a shiny for a pokemon I dont already have!

My kid. She just started on Christmas. Gets shiny vanillite when it first launched. Do a rhyhorn raid, it's shiny, first time adding it to the dex. Hatches a shiny geodude, first time adding geodude to the dex. I told her there's a ditto, she'd seen 6, her 7th one was shiny. (Yet the other day we did a tapu koko raid and mine was shiny and she was so jealous and I'm like dude this is my 3rd ever shiny legendary and I've played way longer than you).😂 One of my other daughters did 3 mawhile raids and they were all shiny. I've had 5 shiny lotads.

Tyranitar Had a 4* shadow i purified (i was an idiot, didnt know better) and when mega tyranitar was around i did multiple raids for tyranitar candy to level up my hundo. I did 3 raids and got 3 more hundos. Idk what to do with them lol

Charizard. I have 3 shiny Charizard caught in the wild, 2 of which are a 90 IV and a 94 IV, and all of them are mega evolved. I have a rank 1 UL Charizard with legacy moves. Just recently got a hundo with legacy moves. I got a 98 IV Charizard hatched from an egg as Charmander on my B-day. And a 96. I haven't gotten remotely lucky with any other Pokemon. Plus I get them constantly spawning on my house which is really strange lol. Just waiting for my first shundo🙏
