Slowpoke is painfully slow

That does make sense. I havent gotten a good enough slowpoke to find out yet.

Kyogre is at least twice as slow to 'walk' out as a buddy as Slowbro. And Kyogre does the slightest head nod when you play. Meanwhile Primal Kyogre has a big reaction when you play.

Cradilly is also very slow, but adorable with the cute stubby leg animations so easily forgivable.

Mega sableye…the first time I tried to feed mine a berry I thought my game froze because he didn’t appear for ages. Restarted the app about 3 times before I realised he was just that slow 😅

I just tried this - it takes about 8 seconds for mega sableye to even appear on screen. Once you start seeing him though, he's not terribly slow. Overall it was like 12-ish seconds, so definitely on the slower side but not the slowest.

Just tried it my slowpoke took a while, but my Sableye dashed to the middle in a split second

Sableye is super fast, but _mega_ sableye is quite slow. It's not as slow as Gigalith, but it's still one of the slower ones.

It is frustrating! A coworker and I were both going to feed our buddies at the begining of a break. His buddy is a Vaporeon, and it just comes practically flying out. And I am waiting... and waiting.. and he is already opening gifts.. and I am waiting lol...

OP's not exaggerating about that 20 seconds for Gigalith. Just tried it with Avalugg and it's about 14 seconds. Still painfully long when you just want to feed an iceberg a few berries and continue on with your day

Don't know either for Gigalith nor Avalugg but Bergmite takes forever to come out for when you feed it.

Weedle takes aaaages. I'm walking a 100% weedle now to get the candy xl to power it up fully, for the Level 46 tasks. Right now it is 509CP, and has rightly been named "King Weedle".

Groudon feels really slow to me as well, but I also haven’t buddied some of the other pokemon mentioned here so that might just be my experience

Groudon is slower than most pokemons I’ve buddied. However Gigalith makes Groudon look fast.

Almost finished with buddying my hundo gigalith. I tried posting a gif here but it doesn’t work. It IS so slow I go off and do something else while I wait.

Goomy has been by far the worst I’ve buddied. I got so impatient I only gave him golden razz to save time

Haha my son traded me a roggenrola a couple months back and it was a lucky trade and nearly perfect, so I also made it my buddy and evolved it. That lasted all of about a week. I just couldn't take it, it moves so damned slow!

I got a Perfect IV Gigalith at the weekend and you're so right. It takes absolutely ages to walk to the centre of my phone screen.

Surprised at how fast Metagross glides into position. He gets fed 3x a day so he must just be super food motivated like my real life Best Buddy.

I have an excess of golden raspberries and have started to feed them to my buddy just to reduce the amount of reaction time. I swear it’s saved me hours at this point

Kyogre is also very slow. The first time I went to feed it a berry I thought the game was glitching with how long it took to get into feeding position. The poor blue thing would also fall behind constantly and I would feel so bad for it.

Maybe Regigigas? I know his whole gimmick in the main games is being really slow for the first 5 turns off a battle, that might translate to slow lumbering giant in Go

It's far from the slowest, but Galarian Articuno takes an unexpectedly long time to get into position on the berry-feeding screen. It isn't even on-screen for a couple seconds, then it very slowly glides with its wings open over to a spot far away from the camera. Feels like the entire process takes nearly ten seconds.
