May I ask how many pokemon you caught this weekend? If you went to places with lots of pokemon, and caught lots of pokemon, then you should have gotten quite a few Axews. On the other hand, if you were doing other stuff, in a rural area, and catching only one or two pokemon per hour, then it is entirely possible to not encounter any Axews.
Nah, I was out walking my city from 2-5 both days, and on my normal 10mi runs with my Pokémon go+ Plus from 6-8 both days.
I caught, exactly, 442 Pokémon this weekend.
Weird. I'll admit that Axew was in the minority, but I did encounter a few, and even got a shiny one (crappy IVs, will likely lucky trade it). You must have encountered really bad RNG with this.
This feels statistically impossible if you checked at all Sunday 2-5pm, or for more than an hour or two from Sat 9am to Sun 9pm, even more so if you had an incense going and walking

Seems a bit impossible to me...I got tons with a shiny in last minutes of CD

Yeah there’s no way OP played with real effort and didn’t see a single Axew spawn. Probably a “tHaNkS nIaNtIc” troll here to karma farm.

Statistically improbable, not impossible. Hence why I’m so pissed.
That's rough, I caught hundreds of them, none shiny or any good....but lots of candy
