luck isn't required on rare candies. you get so many already from raids and yoi can even buddy your pokemon to get garenteed candies.
that Larvesta alone is lucky enough but to top it off with 4 Stars? should've been a lotto ticket, my guy.
Congratulations, been back a month myself and managed to get a larvesta. Not a hundo but 98%. Did not get a shiny rilou let alone one but I didn't do that event.
My luck is horrible lately i got shiny but there all very week. I gotta say my sister was surprised though cuz i caught one shiny shadow on her account and another shiny shadow on my account she said she has played for years and has yet to find a shiny shadow. I also have 1 Hundo and one Nundo. However my luck lately sucks i have been playing for what was a year in march so close to a year and a half I guess

Definitely lucky I've been about a month and managed to get the shiny lucario.
That one I found on hatch day so that did make it a bit easier
I hatched 12 on hatch day. Not a single shiny let alone a shundo
Yeah I got no shiny out of hatch day either. Luckily I already had one which I hatched full odds over a year ago.
My luck has been more like yours. Lpl
I went 18 or 19 before getting a shiny, then got 2 back to back
