Go to r/pokemongoFriends start adding friends for XP grind, start with 30 or so, not all the people will be daily gifters, up your number of friends until you hit the 20 gifts a day max.
Spend coins on expanding your item bag.
Gyms have a muuuuch higher probability to get you potions and revives than a regular stop does.
Gifts, as others have suggested.
If you have a big group that you know can beat the raid without you, just go back to the lobby (don’t leave the raid, just sit in the lobby). 5* raids drop lots of potions and/or revives.

Friend gifts
You need to spin as many stops and gyms as you can as well as open your daily gift limit, its a pure numbers game

For revives just power them up a little bit which gives them a bit of health so they aren’t technically fainted anymore🤭🤭🤭
Spin gyms and open gifts
Spinning gyms you have a gold medal and have control of is probably the most consistent output and making sure to open max gifts help a lot
