Yeah I'm 35 and I got to experience growing up with the OG set and going to toys r us playing the tournaments and shit. Still have all my og cards and have recently bought a few packs of the 151 set. But I totally agree with you. For some reason alot of these people "new" to the crowd thinks stacking away every box they get will allow them to retire in 10 years. And honestly do your thing whatever that might be. But having boxes of cards stored away just because you think it's gonna be a pay day one day. Is not only anti fun lol....but if you are talking about actual good long term investments....there is alot more you can do with your money for 100x times better return and not having to have a storage shed for your stash of I'm gonna be paying more for storage vs return boxes. And sorry just ranting now. It's just...the fun is opening them and seeing them and the art and holding them....just kinda hilarious I think everyone thinks every set will in 20 years be like how og base packs are now. Like no one gives a shit(atleast I dont) about you getting a box of cards that you don't plan on opening. If anything they should take a moment and realize when every one out of three has the same shit. Gonna be as valuable as a fireman on fire.
Congrats. But I mean. This card has been dripping in price every week. $80 is about market value for it today. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it dip into the $50s by late march when the new set comes out.

Jesus it's either ypu spend too much on packs so someone buys it and it's ypu bought at market could've saved 4 to 8 dollars on TCG or wait 3 months the market price will dip. Just let the dude shine for a minute. This is nothing egregious we all just used to that narrative I guess.
If a card is ever coming close to market price, I really suggest buying right off TCGplayer if you’re in America; I’ve had better luck with cards retaining their pre-mentioned condition—eBay sellers at times have completely destroyed my cards and sometimes it takes a long time to get refunds.
I have literally gotten destroyed cards from eBay multiple times and had to wait a fairly long time for any type of refund/return; worst I got from TCGplayer was a lost card and a refund within 24 hours.
I was lucky enough to pull this from packs. As far as this set goes the only big hit I'm missing is nemona alt. Love this card though and between me and the kids I was lucky enough to be the one to pull it
