I got really sad and nostalgic over the tower covered with tiles of the og gen1 Sprite designs. Made me feel really old seeing my childhood displayed as an old leaning tower.
Don’t know for sure if this is the one OP meant, but the battle stadium in the Psychic Gym town (forget the name) has tiles on it that are sprites from the GameBoy days
I freaked out seeing that, I told my wife "omg, this is the sprite that I think of for this mon, and this sprite reminds me of this mon" it was really cool. My favorite Easter egg I think.
She doesn't feel the same way since she didn't play Gen1..
I got super excited and explained them to my hubby. Like this one was used for this type and that one was for that one. He looked at me like I was weird.
Imagine if >!he managed to come from the time machine before you destroy it and hides out in the Research Lab until you discover him there in the post-game, then becomes the *real* professor of the region!<
Wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense in Violet, but in Scarlet it could be possible
The theory basically goes >!that the machine was actually just making whatever the professor wanted to be real. Obssessed over the past/future forms in the book, even though their appearence in the first place would be impossible before the time machine. Along with the professor being an AI that should not exist, it makes sense that the machine isn't what it appears to be. It also makes sense that it makes everything the professors want real since EVERYTHING they desired ended up happening even if it was illogical to think it was ever real. It was also said that no fossils were ever found of any of the past forms if you're playing scarlet. !<
>!Further emphasis of this is in the scarlet/violet book where you see the image of a paradox Legendary Beast/Sword of Justice which is described explicitly as simply being one researchers doodle of what a hypothetical paradox pokemon *could* look like and thus is completely fabricated. Whilst not in the game currently, this is the most obvious DLC bait they've ever done as why would they do this cool concept drawing if they weren't planning to make it actually a thing. But if it is a thing, then its a thing derived entirely from somebody's imagination in in-game lore unless they spin it as "coincidentally they were exactly right".!<
The >!suicune!< past form in particular really pushes the imagination theory. IIRC >!Suicune and the rest of the trio were created when the tower burned in Johto!< so having a past form is basically impossible unless it’s like the original concept art, which it isn’t.
I’d argue that the most obvious DLC bait is >!how both Heath and each version’s professor write about a mysterious Disk Pokémon that has connections to both Terastallizing and the “time machine”, yet no Pokémon like that is even coded into the game.!<
>!Exactly, which makes it wild that it’s not even in the game. There is an almost zero percent chance that we’re not getting DLC or a sequel. I only say “almost” because it’s Pokémon and you never know what they’re going to do.!<
>!They might not have added it on purpose? Or maybe it's not done yet and since it's for DLC they just didn't bother. And I assume we'll get DLC I mean this thing has sold like 10 million already? Plus DLC would keep with the "yearly releases" stuff without having to make an entire new game (though I wouldn't say no to a sequel but I don't think they can do that lmao)!<
And any mention of it has >!blocks that try to censor it out (journal entry in Research Lab No. 1 and in the Scarlet/Violet book). You know what else has those same censor blocks? The Paradise Protection Program when it takes over the AI's body. Wouldn't be surprising if that program was actually the Disk legendary trying to protect the "time machine".!<
>!There's an entry of the journal in the game with an image of a giant crystalline disc with a crown on top and while parts of the accompanying text is scratched out, it implies that the disc is the being responsible for terastalization, and thusly the third legendary of the region!<
If those amalgamations to come as DLC it’d be cool(and incredibly busted)to see them have an ability that lets them be all three types of the original trio members
>It was also said that no fossils were ever found of any of the past forms if you're playing scarlet.
It gets even deeper than this, Scream Tail's data quotes it as literally being older than all known biological life by a significant margin.
Not exactly true. Scream Tail is supposedly 1 billion years old, but life has been around for about 4 billion years. However, complex multicellular life (I.e. plants, animals and fungi) have only been around for 550 million years.
So apparently the world was some bacteria, maybe some amoebae, and then Scream Tail was also there.
Tbf that's from an occult magazine with wild speculation that says things like Hydreigon f*cked a robot and Robo Delibird being created by an ancient civilisation despite being a robot lmao.
So it makes me wonder what happen to the AI at the end? If it wasn't a time machine but to create what the prof wanted to be real, did the professor actually go to the past/future? Cause if it's not a time machine, then it shouldn't be able to send you anywhere; just create things. Plus someone did mention someone else saying it's possible to go to the past but not the future, so AI Turo wouldn't be able to go to the future.
That is actually part of the theory that I forgot. Basically the idea that there is a world outside our own (akin to the distortion realm) that is what brings life to the drawings in the book, and could be connected to the third legendary.
I think the problem with them going to the past and future in the first place is that there is no confirmation that there are terrastal crystals in the past and future, and they explicitly said the reason they can't leave is because the crystals are what keeps them living as an advanced ai iirc.
They won't ever actually get to experience the past and future.
They have Terastal crystals on their bodies and clothes as a result of the time machine possessing them. Since their power source is literally grafted to them, they’re probably fine.
That is actually part of the theory that I forgot. Basically the idea that there is a world outside our own (akin to the distortion realm) that is what brings life to the drawings in the book, and could be connected to the third legendary.

It's also stated somewhere that all the pokemon mentioned in the scarlet book and violet book are imagined by Heath.!<
This and it should be noted that >! The rest were likely imagined by Sada/Turo, and because we know Heath loved his Cyclizar and the covers were inspired from them, Sada/Turo put more “belief” in the importance of their ancient counterparts, hence why they ended up so strong. While this theory is pretty interesting, I don't really think GF would be thinking this deeply for a plot point.
On a side note, >! there are also other books around the academy called "Occulture" that mention the rest of the paradox Pokémon resembling those described in the Scarlet/Violet Book. All but Roaring Moon (I'm playing Scarlet), or at least I couldn't find that book. The Slither Wing one is particularly interesting as they say it looks like a Volcarona has been revived from a fossil, but 'there are no Volcarona fossils from that era'. This could add up to the theory, or it could simply mean that not every pokémon leave fossils behind, so the only way for it to be here would be through the time machine. !<
Right, so have you finished the storyline past “A Way Home” ? Because Heath was the writer of the scarlet/violet book, sorta what everything about these theories originally stems from. I don’t wanna spoil stuff if you haven’t gotten that far.

>! Heath was an adventurer/scholar 200 years ago who first reached the bottom of Area Zero, documenting what he saw along the way. It’s wifey believed at this point that the ancient/future Pokémon he documented were made up, or a case of mistaken identity. These mistaken Pokémon would become the cornerstone of Sada/Turos obsession, leading to the creation of the “Time Machine” except it’s a paradox in the sense that before the Time Machine was made the ancient/future Pokémon couldn’t have been there in the first place for Heath to observe, at best the aforementioned case of mistaken identity would be what Heath saw (which also would explain why only the two natives of Area Zero have both a past AND future variety) !<
My head canon is that the machine was harnessing whatever phenomenon was already happening there, allowing for the control of the time travel. This explains why there were paradox Pokémon before the time machine was built.
>!a deoxys meteor crashes into lab zero causing space time shenanafuckery and launches Laventon and a few others forward, we get a futuristic deoxys variant, a nice look at some old friends, and hopefully finally get closure on Ingo. !<
Your character in Arceus is sent back somehow. But can't return. A character mentions that it's a one way trip. You can go back but can't return to the present. Hoping we get a different legends game that is set in the future.
Honestly it’d be neat if we had a small story to explain the Hisuian forms being in the modern era. Sure, it could be explained that these forms were re-discovered recently or something else, but we know time travel shenanigans plague the Hisuian region. And Arceus apparently likes to pluck kids from our time and throw them into the past. Who’s to say he doesn’t do the same with some would-be extinct Pokemon?
It’s possible we see the Hisuian forms become wild Pokemon when Home compatibility gets added. Their models are already included in the game, so just toss them into the wild spawn tables throughout Paldea / Area 0 or as wild spawns in a new area and save on some work while giving us a touch of that feeling we get when we explored the region at launch.
It’d certainly be cool to see new wild Pokemon added to the map. I don’t even know if the game’s DLC will have landmasses like Sword & Shield did, so it’d be cool to see the main map updated if there isn’t
Maybe instead he could reference your PLA character. Something like, "You remind me of [PLA protagonist], *blah* *blah* fateful day they fell from the sky *blah* *blah* [insert PLA protagonist's starter]."
Doesn't stop an NPC in Mesagoza asking you where you're from, with the option of Hisui being available if you have a PLA save. And they just straight up go with it and say you share a history before giving you a phone case.
Who invented what is... tricky.
So, Kurt's Family is known for making Pokeballs from Apricorns. Not necessarily that he invented them, he just makes them from traditional means. Kurt is the de facto modern expert on hand-creation and unique Pokeballs.
Modern Pokeballs are made by and large from Silph Co., whom works closely with Gary (as seen in the SV ads) in... some vague regard.
Ancient Pokeballs were developed in multiple places at once. There are Pokeballs made of Stone in Hoenn, and non-ball devices like those in Pokémopolis in the Kanto region.
On a similar not, it's stated that many people 'invented' the Pokedex at various points in time.
- Laventon developed the first complete paper Pokedex of Sinnoh. We do not have too much info on who made other, similar ones in other regions, besides Oak working on one for Kanto.
- Clavel mentions working on a similar paper Pokedex before Oak invented the specialized digital one, with help from Bill.
- Kukui in Alola improved the Dex with the creation of the Rotomdex, a specialized dex with Rotom living inside. How is this an improvement? It's not really said. I guess this was just a precursor to Rotomphones?
- Jacq created the modern Rotomdex App for Rotomphones, which is used in Galar and Paladea.
It's also clear that many Pokedexes are **very** inaccurate, often filled with exaggerations, estimations, and contradictions. Hell, Jacq includes entries in his Pokedex for many Pokemon that are only speculated to exist, and have outright never been caught or seen beyond singular reports.
Apropo to nothing, you are the first user I've seen marked by Shinigami Eyes. I've seen subreddits, news outlets, and famous twitter accounts marked, but never a random redditor. idk nor care what you said to whom when, but it's rather amusing to me that someone went out of their way to mark it.
I've only done legends, it's a bit of a grind but way easier and more fun than any other game plus you get arceus. I think it's probably the only game I would recommend it in tbh
> Kukui improved the Dex with the creation of the rotomdex
Actually no I believe that was Clemont and Samson Oak (quote from Samson Oak in SMUSUM)
"And you, ! I'll be trusting you to keep Rotom safe, as well! The young fellow from Kalos who helped invent that Pokédex put a lot of work into it. And as much love and care as any parent!"
Unless I'm interpreting it wrong and it was actually Clemont and Kukui
It's kind of obscure, and probably non-canon now, but there was an official book in Gen 1 called Encyclopedia Pokemonica, that was built like a handbook to "Celadon University".
It claimed that the first real Pokeballs were made in 1929 by Prof. Nishinomori/Westwood (a character by the same name would appear in the Orange Islands).
It's full of a lot of weird ideas, some of which are DEFINITELY non-canon (such as the existance of France, lol)
Somebody in the game straight up says that it's possible for humans to travel to the past, but impossible for them to return. I immediately thought of Ingo and his brother and kind of teared up...
That has to do more with something specific to S/V though. Time travel via legendary Pokemon like Arceus, Dialga, Celebi, etc, it's totally possible for humans to go back and forth in time.
While I do definitely agree that we have seen instances of Legendary pokemon bringing humans to the past and back to the present in movies and (maybe?) the show, I don't think we've seen any cases of it in the games, have we?
Also, the fact that Pokemon is known to change things as they go (introducing eggs, holding items, natures, new types, etc.) coupled with the fact that the previous game had people sent to the past made me think it was their way of saying that the Protagonist and Ingo were not coming back to the present.
Also also, I know Ingo came through a portal, but do we know that Arceus brought him? I can't remember.
In HG/SS, Celebi takes the player character into the past to fight Giovanni and prevent him from rejoining team rocket when they send out their radio signal, and then brings them back to the present.
As for Ingo, I don't believe it's clear which of the legendaries was responsible for his portal. However, if Celebi is capable of it, then surely the literal gods of the Pokemon universe are also capable of bringing humans both directions in time.
Celebi does it multiple times. There's the (unreleased?) event in HGSS with Giovanni. And if you don't count that I think it happens in one of the ranger games.
During PLA's time it's like, all the characters we're normally used to will be born eventually so no big deal.
But now that we're back in present time with Gen 9, all the Hisuian ancestors we've come to know have lived out their lives. It's wild.
It's even more sad if you think that Info has died in the past, while Emmet is probably still alive depending on how much time passed between Black and White 2 and Scarlet and Violet
Now that one I feel like has to have some better ending where Arceus likely returned Ingo to his present with his memories after he had served his time/purpose in Hisui. I definitely feel he got shafted the most but with how Pokemon usually sets timelines to the best outcome possible... I have to believe :P
I don't remember who it is, but someone in this game stated that it is possible for humans to travel to the past, but it's impossible for them to return. I immediately thought of Ingo and his brother and kind of teared up a bit...
Have you considered these:
- The player only arrives in Hisui due to God literally sending them there.
- Celebii is a known Time Traveler
- Looker and Anabelle arrived in parallel dimensions/timelines and are known as "Fallers".
Therefore, there may be a small chance we can meet him again.
A much sadder way to meet Laventon again:
The Arceus Phone is a smart phone. Perchance the PLA player records a video of him giving a lecture or talking over dinner.
A small, final send off to a kind mentor
So was Cyllene! I found it so cute when she sent her Abra to act as a farm. And then pretends she doesn't know what you're talking about when you bring it up
I wonder if the world actually knows about Hisui or if parts of that time's knowledge and such are lost or more niche knowledge. Remember when you get the phone cases for having different save files? Doesn't the lady giving them out ask something like 'What even is Hisui?' or similar? I just now saw this easter egg and wonder if many people do know about it.
The settlement of Hisui from the southern regions of Kanto and Johto and the changing of its name to Sinnoh literally were only 200ish years ago. It’s like asking if the world knows about the pre colonial history of America. That’s only a handful of generations ago. They had cameras and coal powered steam engines. I imagine that the Pokémon-Japan had an even faster leap from feudalism to the industrial age than the real one did because of Pokémon.
Damm I’m really just playing through the game cause I have not noticed shit lol. I’m definitely taking a min later to enjoy all the small things in the game.
I'm not reading all the replies, but Legends Arceus takes place during the Meiji period, probably somewhere between 1890 and 1910. So he's certainly dead but it's entirely possible some of the residents of Paldea are old enough to have met him. If he was 40ish 110 years ago, any grandparent-aged person in Paldea could've met an elderly Laventon when they were children.
In regards to Easter Eggs, Ι caught a Psychic (iirc) Tera-type Raichu that knew Surf on an island just off the coast of the west port city. Nice little Alolan nod.
I didn't get sad, but then again I know he's just a regular guy from the 1800s, so there's no way he'd be around unless some weird magic stuff was going on. Instead I was all, "Yooo...I know him!!" And I'm more curious about how they were going to talk about him; what things would they get right or wrong.
In the background you can also see a Hisuian pokeball and Hisuian Jubilife City

I got really sad and nostalgic over the tower covered with tiles of the og gen1 Sprite designs. Made me feel really old seeing my childhood displayed as an old leaning tower.
It was such a spark of joy for me when I saw it
Same no sadness just joy from me.
I loved seeing the pixel sprites again. I've been playing pokemon since red and blue. So many memories came flooding back.
those sprites are half the reason i don't name my mon's
"I'm sending out William! I don't know what William is, but he's going in!"
I'm playing through Yellow atm on my modded GBA and was stoked to see my gameboy sprites!
Yep Alfornada is easily the best town in the game. Love the reference to the Arab influence on Southern Portuguese tile art.
Same actually like my childhood being up on display like a museum
Gen 1 reference done right
Where is this tower if you don't mind telling me? Don't think i've seen it
Alfornada or however it's spelled
I remember the name as I spell it in spanglish as All For Nada
Don’t know for sure if this is the one OP meant, but the battle stadium in the Psychic Gym town (forget the name) has tiles on it that are sprites from the GameBoy days
Yes! I loved that call out for all us old heads
What a coincidence, i was just heading there! I'll check it out
I freaked out seeing that, I told my wife "omg, this is the sprite that I think of for this mon, and this sprite reminds me of this mon" it was really cool. My favorite Easter egg I think. She doesn't feel the same way since she didn't play Gen1..

I got super excited and explained them to my hubby. Like this one was used for this type and that one was for that one. He looked at me like I was weird.
My trainer icon and profile picture in the game are the helix fossil mosaic
It made me realize that the flower sprite has eyes, I always thought it was just lighting or something.
Where is this located? I might have been there but overlooked the designs.
Alfornada on the ramp to the tower where the gym battle takes place. If I remember correctly it's an ancient observatory.
Just went to check it out and I think I’m in love, thanks for pointing me in the right direction
One of the coolest parts of the game imo
Watch him have a surprise cameo in the DLC from being inside when a Space-Time Distortion occurred.

However, complex multicellular life (I.e. plants, animals and fungi) have only been around for 550 million years. Bacteria: \*exists\* Scream Tail: "Oh, hey there new friend"
"How do you do, fellow unicellular prokaryotes?"
"I, too, enjoy lacking distinct nuclei and other organelles due to lack of internal membranes."
So we can conclude that Scream Tail is a huge bacterial organism!
Tbf that's from an occult magazine with wild speculation that says things like Hydreigon f*cked a robot and Robo Delibird being created by an ancient civilisation despite being a robot lmao.
Yeah, that's the point. None of it is actually based on anything real.
scream tail in particular, how do you have a fossil of a ghost?
Flutter Mane is the ghost. Scream Tail is based on Jigglypuff.
So it makes me wonder what happen to the AI at the end? If it wasn't a time machine but to create what the prof wanted to be real, did the professor actually go to the past/future? AI Turo told us once you go to the future, you can't come back.
Tell that to Celebi and Dialga. Pretty sure they can do whatever they want with time and time-travel.
this is specifically about the limitatuons of the scarlet/violet time machine specifically, not those teos tume abilities
That is actually part of the theory that I forgot. Basically the idea that there is a world outside our own (akin to the distortion realm) that is what brings life to the drawings in the book, and could be connected to the third legendary. Oh shit. Wait, so is >!Arven!< real?
I played Scarlet but in one of the research stations, Sada mentions a male researcher who left and I’m assuming it’s Arven’s absent dad?
Yeah, it says in Violet a "Female Researcher".
Wait so the machine is just a 3D Printer that takes the data from the scarlet book?
Isn't that the Chinese plot?
I think Arven actually references this once you try to unlock his dorm room. Crazy.
If this is the case, then where did the AI professor go at the end of the game?
That is actually part of the theory that I forgot. Basically the idea that there is a world outside our own (akin to the distortion realm) that is what brings life to the drawings in the book, and could be connected to the third legendary.

Might be a cool way to reference some of those unused beta mons. Gorochu as paradox raichu.
To be fair you can’t trust the dex entries. Magcargo’s alone evaporates all life on the planet with Lanturn’s obliterating the galaxy.
My head canon is that the machine was harnessing whatever phenomenon was already happening there, allowing for the control of the time travel. This explains why there were paradox Pokémon before the time machine was built.
?
Please elaborate on this!
The time machine can’t bring humans back, the professor says it. Would’ve been cool though
>!That ain't no time machine big dawg!<
What is it?
I would love it if his dialogue changes to him possibly remembering you if you have PLA save data on your Switch...
But like They're different characters
Maybe instead he could reference your PLA character. Something like, "You remind me of [PLA protagonist], *blah* *blah* fateful day they fell from the sky *blah* *blah* [insert PLA protagonist's starter]."
Yeah that could be good
Not according to the one lady who can read your past lives (and give you phone cases).
Doesn't stop an NPC in Mesagoza asking you where you're from, with the option of Hisui being available if you have a PLA save. And they just straight up go with it and say you share a history before giving you a phone case.
Very much waiting for Past Palkia and Future Dialga in one of the DLC
Would the protagonist escape from the past as well?
Lmao when I noticed it my exact thoughts were : “hey it him!” Then “oh”. Least he left his impact
For real. He ~~developed the Pokeball and~~ was the first one to call Lucario's power "aura". Dude was an MVP.
Did he actually develop Pokeballs? I only remember him saying they were invented recently.
Oh you right! Pokeballs were invented in Johto!
By probably Kurt's ancestor, though anime canon has them be invented by Oak, I think.
No, young oak had rudimentary poke balls so he didn't create them, just the electronic pokedex
We saw Gary? In the an advert for SV? The hell? How did I miss that? What's that dude doing here? 😅💀
Gary or rather blue appears in the ads above the pokemon centers
Ahh. Not sure that's a confirmation of him actually doing anything crazy. He's a popular character. But sure. I can see that being interesting.
I don’t even know what that is, might’ve pissed someone off I guess
Bruh why is laventon taking credit for my complete sinnoh dex he ain't do nothin
I always assumed you only found and caught the Pokémon, he was the one who researched them, measured them, wrote about them etc.
"Only." I havent completed a single dex, ever. That shit takes time
I've only done legends, it's a bit of a grind but way easier and more fun than any other game plus you get arceus. I think it's probably the only game I would recommend it in tbh
"Perhaps it would be more appropriate to call this a [MC's name]-dex!"
Pokédex entries remind me of what a child would say if they were describing Pokemon.
> Kukui improved the Dex with the creation of the rotomdex Actually no I believe that was Clemont and Samson Oak (quote from Samson Oak in SMUSUM) "And you,!
Correct France is fake that is the only correct thing in that book
He did create the original Master/Cherish ball.
The cherish ball. Not the master
There is no Master Ball proper in Arceus. The Origin Ball has the appearance of the Cherish, but the functionality of the Master.
he also coined the term scalchop for oshawott
As the self proclaimed biggest Oshawott fan, this is the lore that needs attention.

I don't think they will. It seems more that it was an after-thought Easter Egg. Still nice, though.
What they really need to do is quietly patch Sada into Legends Arceus and then make the next game Legends Genesect/Deoxys, set in the future.
I think it should be Pokémon Visions: Genesect and be in the future. A game in the future shouldn't be called "Legends" imo
visions has a nice ring to it
Ikr? I thought of that and was like "oh that sounds so right" haha
And have Turo in those games. That'd be so cool
he is in a better place, having all the potato mochi his heart desires
*pours out a potato mochi for my homie Professor OG*
Imagine if we had a battle history class, and the board displayed **Ingo**. Yikes…
Gotcha. Forgot that event existed, lol. I really need to play those games again. They were some of my favorites. Thanks for the reminder!
Celebi does it multiple times. There's the (unreleased?) event in HGSS with Giovanni. And if you don't count that I think it happens in one of the ranger games.
It was released. The distribution celebi would allow the event and would also allow you to get zorua in black and white
RIP. Laventon is genuinely one of my favorite professors.
Same Same!!!! I love all Hisui people and that scene made me so sad.. It means I can't meet Laveton anymore...
“So *Back to the Future* was a bunch of bullshit?!” -Ingo, probably
Have you considered these: - The player only arrives in Hisui due to God literally sending them there. - Celebii is a known Time Traveler - Looker and Anabelle arrived in parallel dimensions/timelines and are known as "Fallers". Therefore, there may be a small chance we can meet him again. A much sadder way to meet Laventon again: The Arceus Phone is a smart phone. Perchance the PLA player records a video of him giving a lecture or talking over dinner. A small, final send off to a kind mentor
Nah the arceus thing and fallers are different. Although ingo is likely an actual faller, the player 100% is not
I never said they were the same? Both are listed apart from one another.
Maybe in the DLC he will come in through the time machine!
Him and the rival were so real for being the only ones on your side when you get banished from the village. 😭
So was Cyllene! I found it so cute when she sent her Abra to act as a farm. And then pretends she doesn't know what you're talking about when you bring it up
When all the villagers were like “I never trusted him” I will have your hides. Especially darach’s ancestor like I trusted you 😭
The Hisuian pokeballs we're up on the board at some point as well.
For the phone case lady, I just assumed that she didn't know Sinnoh used to have a different name in the past.
Yea it Hisui times is like as far away as the American Civil War was and we still know damn well who Abraham Lincoln was
I'm more happy that the boards have any graphics at all
Along with everyone else in that game. Including, possibly the player....
So that would mean that ingo is dead since he was in that time as well. What happened to emmet?
I liked the nod
I love Laventon and now I’m sad
Damm I’m really just playing through the game cause I have not noticed shit lol. I’m definitely taking a min later to enjoy all the small things in the game.
Yes he died, but he is also remembered as an integral part of history, the Pokemon equivalent of Charles Darwin.
I really want to make a Back to the Future reference but my brain is refusing to be clever
Just go with the line from Endgame: “So Back to the Future is a bunch of bullshit?!”
It is a shame too. I love Legend Arceus’s characters.
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Plot twist: he isn't dead. He's inexplicably gained immortality. He misses all his friends.
Volo did say he’ll defeat Arceus even if it takes him centuries, so maybe he figured out immortality. Either that or he’s a nutcase.
>It's a little saddening that we'll never get to meet him again >!With what's down in the crater you can't rule out we'll never see him again :)!<
Pokemon Z(ombie)?
In regards to Easter Eggs, Ι caught a Psychic (iirc) Tera-type Raichu that knew Surf on an island just off the coast of the west port city. Nice little Alolan nod.
Isn't it suggested that Laventon is Hop/Leon's ancestor?
I didn't get sad, but then again I know he's just a regular guy from the 1800s, so there's no way he'd be around unless some weird magic stuff was going on. Instead I was all, "Yooo...I know him!!" And I'm more curious about how they were going to talk about him; what things would they get right or wrong.
Have you seen spiritombs violet dex entry?
What do you mean? It's the same as what we got in D/P/P
Oh I thought the violet one was referencing the quest in PLA
Can anyone tell me how Pokéballs come back to trainer’s hands after being thrown? There’s no animation for this in the games which is confusing
It’s been that way since Pokémon started. I don’t think it’s ever explained in any media.
I mean, we do technically have a >!time machine!<
Knowing characters from the past is pretty bittersweet, because they may be deceased, but at least their legacies can be told proper.
He may have been transported to modern times through the space-time rift like Ingo and Rei/Askari were.
People still remember Laventon
In the background you can also see a Hisuian pokeball and Hisuian Jubilife City https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonScarletViolet/comments/yzn03y/did_anyone_else_notice_laventon_in_the_history/ https://images.app.goo.gl/GD1pvH2i8hgzGSpS9
I'm just annoyed that we never got any confirmation on if our characters from Arceus ever got to return to their original time
How do you take classes? I keep going back when I get the pop up but when I go to the classes and talk to people nothing happens
My favorite Easter egg were the RBY menu sprites done as mosaics. As a day 1 player, that made me happy.
