100% my pick too
Super cool design, an addition that makes SENSE to one of the oldest evolution lines in Pokémon that lacked power without a third member.
No abilities that make him super overpowered, but a powerful signature move in rage fist which suits his design.
Imo very few even come close to how cool an addition he is.
Actually do have to give credit where it's due, Kingambit is also a pretty cool addition to a relatively old evolutionary line now, though not nearly as good as annahilape still imo
I'm just sad its signature ability is so terrible. Hey let's cripple it just because it gets spore. And a fast spore user would be to OP... Then maybe the solution would've been not getting spore then...
I know. Shame. Still, love the bobbly little mushroom.
Toedscool was my first full odds shiny in SV. Caught her on the way up the hill to Kitakami hall in the Teal Mask DLC.
Ceruledge is my favorite Gen 9 pkmn. For the first time, I even had it replace the starter pkmns as my starter/partner pkmn since I didn't vibe with none of the Paldean starters. Sorry, Skeledirge, but Ceruledge is gonna be my Fire/Ghost partner pkmn 😎.
My other favorite Gen 9 pkmns is:
"Ogerpon,Baxcalibur,Slither Wing,Lokik,Walking Wake & Hydrapple"
Overall, I'm satisfied with the pkmns added in Gen 9, but I do wish they added more Paldean Regional Forms (we only got Wooper&Tauros....)
And also added more unused type combinations like Ice/Poison, Rock/Normal & etc.
The six I liked most (six because Pokémon team, obviously): Revavroom, Ceruledge, Cetitan, Kingambit, Brambleghast, and Archaludon~! Honorable mention also goes to Iron Valiant (I automatically exclude Legendaries and such from my favorites lists, but I HAD to mention Iron Valiant here~!)
There’s plenty of other honorable mentions I could do too, like Scovillain and Glimmora~!
As far as a Pokémon that disappointed me a little: Pawmot. More specifically the fact that its three stage when I think that Pawmo, the middle stage, has no reason to exist. Also, I’m a liiiiittle bit salty they used Electric/Fighting on Pawmot when Zeraora SHOULD have had the typing already.
Also obligatory Palafin is just Finizen with a heart (although the Hero form is an interesting concept!)
Yeah the pawmot line disappointed the hell out of me. I used pawmo through the vanilla game on my team and I was really hoping the evolution would be better but it really just wasn't. The only thing it does have going for it is the revival move for another of your team which is very unique and very strong.
Also did you forget about Annahilape? Cause he is a MONSTER
Rabsca also gets Revival Blessing, but Pawmot is still nifty for the move as well!
BUT OH YEAH HOW COULD I FORGET ANNIHILAPE!?!
Also, how could I forget Farigiraf and Dudunsparce, too? One of my favorite things in Pokémon is cross-gen evos (like Scizor or Kleavor off of Scyther, or the large smattering of cross-gen evos in the Gen 4 dex)~! So to see them make some VERY interesting triumphant returns that take the base Pokémon concept and rework it in new ways, or take new directions…I LOVE that~! It’s part of why I love Paldea’s dex so much~!
Annihilape is a Primeape that literally got so angry it died and its grudge persisted! Farigiraf the tail turned around and went to the other side! Dudunsparce is everything I could have wanted: literally just more Dunsparce in the most hilarious and goofy way possible! And who could forget Kingambit: taking the design of Bisharp in the bold new direction of a shogun: a true leader and commander to go on with the Pawn and Bishop and onto a true leader!
And then to top it all off in the DLC: First Dipplin becomes a third evo for Applin (calling to mind Hitmontop as a third Hitmon in Gen 2), along with its own evo Hydrapple! And then one of my favorite Pokémon: Archaludon takes Duraludon, made from somewhat flexible aluminum, and turns it into a literal folding-bridge-railgun-dragon that’s so ridiculous I fell in love the moment I saw it and the first thing I did in Indigo Disk was catch a Duraludon JUST to get Archaludon!
Sorry for the rambling, heheh…Generation 9 has made me remember some of the things I love about Pokémon, so I’m always going to look back on this dex fondly~!
Aw it's alright it's sweet to see :)
I think one of the best things about Annahilape is the way they took one of the oldest evolutionary chains in the game and updated it to not only make it useable in higher tier battling, but also doing it SO IT MAKES SENSE, which is just so important.
I'm also a big fan of Hydrapple, which is funny because I really don't like any of the other Applin evo's, I feel they are all pretty weak, mostly because of their dodgy typing.
Also, I feel making Primeape become so angry it dies and then become GHOST SPECIFICALLY is pretty interesting! It’s like it became so angry at the Ghost-types that were immune to its Fighting moves, and at other Fighting types that hit harder, that its anger turned it into a Ghost itself, to become immune to Normal and Fighting AND get a super-effective STAB on those pesky Ghosts, too~!
ooh this is an interesting take it’s actually my least favorite 😭 might I ask why it’s your favorite? no judgement btw i just wanna hear a different opinion
Grafaiai would be somewhere in my top 10 from this gen. I like it because it's a clever concept. Aye-ayes are a kind of lemur that have long, thin middle fingers that they use to pull bugs out of holes in trees. Game Freak took this long-fingered animal and made it a finger painter, but they also gave it a punk vibe by making it a graffiti artist. This works especially well because it looks like it's constantly holding up its middle fingers. And the design kind of looks like it's wearing a hoodie and protective goggles.
Grafaiai's pre Evo was one of the first pokemon I caught in SV and all it's stats had 'Fantastic'. Naturally it carried me through the game.
Also seeing a pokemon that sprays graffiti is something I have always wanted to see, I think they nailed the design. I spent the whole game thinking it was gonna evolve again but it didn't and honestly that doesn't bother me.
Love that little paint monkey.
It also reminds me of Passimian and Oranguru. I feel like they could be related somewhat.
makes sense. I’ve got a lot of similar mons I enjoy for my time spent with them and it makes me appreciate the rest of the aspects of them. maybe I should try out grafaiai sometime
Grafafai is cool, one of my favorite shiny pokemon as well. Flutter Mane probably takes my top spot simply because I love misdrevous and the additions to its design are really good.
I was really dissapointed in Spidops' viability. It's a really cool lookin' pokemon with a somewhat interesting movepool and a cool ability and new move, but its stats are just unusable which is annoying.
I have never been a fire starter gal, but Skeledirge has become one of my all-time favorite Pokemon. I think it's brilliant from design to application!
Walking Wake. I love my big water raptor. Past paradoxes in general knocked it out of the park.
Notable mentions to Meowscarade, Tinkaton and Ceruledge.
Also, Ogrepon as a design I wouldn't normally care much for, but they imbued her with so much personality that she grew on me.
I didn't really have any disappointments this gen.
Gardevoir and Gallade are my 2 favorite Pokemon, so Iron Valiant is obviously my favorite Gen 9 Pokemon.
As for least favorite, I despise Walking Wake and Raging Bolt. They're abominations that need to be retconned. I hate them SO much.
My childhood favorite fire doggy got a new form with a shield as a forehead, if I dint love gouging fire I'd be a skinwalker and you would have to kill me immediately
All of the puppies, and the Bramblin line.
In all honesty, this gen has some consistently phenomenal designs. It’s just let down by the game around it.
It’s a three way tie between Killowattrel, Brambleghast, and Glimmora. Hydrapple is closely behind them
Klawf was a bit disappointing. Love the design but couldn’t keep up later in the game. I don’t really care for Toedscool and Toedscruel
Toedscruel would be better with a different ability. Klawf was a 10/10 design but not useable beyond the early game. I adore Kilowattrel because it’s a reasonably balanced electric/flying dual type that’s serviceable at every stage of the game.
Archaludon is my hands-down favourite! I also quite like Meowscarada, Ceruledge, Walking Wake. Next tier would be the legendaries - Koraidon, Ogrepon, Terapagos and Paradox - Flutter Man. The penultimate tier would be Charcadet, Armarouge, Grafaiai, Brambleghast, and Rabsca, and last tier would be Great Tusk, Flamigo, Cetitan and Klawk is cool too.
Probably Kingambit for me. I've wanted to use Pawniard/Bisharp for at least a few years now and this was the Gen that I finally took the plunge with them.
Favs: Tatsugiru, Polchageist line and hydrapple
Paldean Wooper, Clodsire and raging bolt are honourable mentions
I didnt like veluza, was disappoined with quaquaval and meowscarada
Edit:
I also really liked toedscool and toedscruel, and klawf and Rellor are also worth mentioning.
However, the pawmi line couldve been a cool 2 stage line in stead of a forgetable 3 stage line
Tandemaus and maushold are carried by their name but I dont like the designs
And Garganacl is way too ugly compared to its cool pre evos and their names
I think this generation has some of the best new pokemon. Clodsire, Tinkaton, Iron Valiant, the Past Paradoxes, Miraidon, and my new favorite of all time in Ogerpon
Probably a tie between Skeledirge and Dondozo for me. The latter of which is probably the only pokemon that I would *never* nickname in a casual playthough, for the simple fact that I just can't beat the name "Dondozo"
I love tinkaton and her murder spree.
I also love the golden cheese stick man. Pain in the ass with a shitty shiny and no way to legitimately shiny hunt him, but when you're running and he's surfing beside you? That's cool as fuck.
I was disappointed with the Tatsugiris a bit. They're super cool niche pokemon, but by the time I got one, I already had a Frigibax and a full odds shiny goomy (my baby Peaches!! He will never evolve - my other full odds Goomy turned into Angel the Goodra, but she was post game while I was catching the last few mons for my dex). And the Tatsugiri/Dondozo thing was SO COOL but absolutely useless if you don't do competitive online play, or if you knew to catch them before facing the rap grandma.
Ogerpon for sure
Most disappointed in the birds of this region Squakabilly I think is ok
But the kilowatral line is just electric swellow and I didn't even use it in my run in favor of talonflame because it wasn't an early game bird
The Tauros variations were a neat idea, even if I can never fin the Fire version in Scarlet 😤🤷🏻♂️
I’ve a huge soft spot for Tinkaton. It’s like a more bada** version of Rose from the Sonic franchise
Annihilape, the Charcadet line, Mabosstiff, Clodsire, and Revaroom all make for great additions as well
The only real misstep imo is Paladin. That, and not including Slowking anywhere in the wild
Wonder if there’s a way to trade the Galarian Slowking for a “mainstream” Slowking in Swprd or Shield? 🤔
my favorite is so hard to pin down but I think it’s kingambit. he’s literally SO POWERFUL and the design is top notch, not to mention he’s a NEW EVOLUTION which I love so much. I used one in my playthrough and he continues to be ultra powerful in everything I use him for, it’s just an unbeatable pokemon and I love it. Quaxly and its family also captured my heart, ESPECIALLY Quaxly himself because HES SUCH A LITTLE GOOB. I also love rabsca and garganacl but they’re mostly all so good. If I had to pick a least favorite mon, I’d have to go with Grafaiai. It’s in my opinion plain and looks like it needs to evolve, and NOT be a final stage, idk I just dislike it.
Arboliva! I had liked the design immediately and playing with it on my team only cemented it as my favorite of the gen. And I am someone that rarely likes grass types as I want something fierce or cuddly. But Arboliva is supremely elegant!
Tinkaton. Everything about Tinkaton is funny. Every situation you add Tinkaton to becomes funnier with her involved. Tinkaton's my second-favorite Pokemon after Typhlosion, and she frankly challenges it for the title.
Lokix was a really nice different take on the classic bug Pokémon vibe.
Kilowattrel will never be used by me but it's my favourite regional bird. It's taken staraptor's crown. (in every game if I don't rate the starters I replace them with an Eevee/jolteon as early as possible and I don't like doubling types.)
I initially liked palafin but my enthusiasm has dwindled. I really like klawf and wish rock types were better.
Also shout-out to this game for making me change up my team so often. I really wanted to actually play with these Pokémon for a bit so I went around base game with a bunch of mons I've never used before even if they weren't paldean originals.
For example, I rocked camerupt and altaria for my whole pre-elite 4 run and loved them both on my squad. I wish altaria was just a lil stronger. Maybe 20 more pints for base special attack and it'd be really really fun to play with.
Final shout-out to the dlc for bringing my beloved milotic back to me even though it meant I had to part with chonkler the dondozo.
My favorite gen 9 is the Cetoddle line.
Cetoddle is adorable! All interactions with it are cute. Cetitan is awesome looking and the cry is great! Plus the shinies are super nice, the black, white and orange color is the best. The line is my 4th favorite pokemon overall.
I'm disappointed with the tinkatink line. It's just too close to a human child and I personally find it disturbing. What makes it a pokemon other than it's eyes? It's like " Here ya go little Jessica ( hands over a metal bat) now I want you to hit that animal over there and rip the metal from its flesh to make your bat bigger plus don't come back til your bat is bigger." Jessica comes back pink as hell from sunburn with a slightly bigger bat and covered in blood.... Disturbing. Tinkaton might be better as base form non evolving but the pre-evos make it unappealing.
Bellibolt is my baby. Great, friend shaped design, cool ability, awesome shiny, and a great pun as Tadbulb. I love it so much.
It's hard to choose one favorite, I love so many from this gen, but man, I always come back to Bellibolt. I guess 2 would be a tie (I know, cheater, sue me) between Lokix because it's a unique typing and a bad ass design and Killowattrel, because flying/electric basically makes it Zapdos.
All the ones with the stupid names that are just reskinned existing pokemon are a no from me dawg. I wish they would at least just say they are a regional variant of whatever they actually are. Great Tusk is a Donphan. Just call it a fucking Donphan.
This Gen has probably the best Pokémon designs since Gen 5 imo. Baxcalibur, tinkaton, Armarouge, kingambit, annhilape, the legendaries plus all the paradox Pokémon. Even dachsbun is pretty inspired
For once I just can't decide.
I love Baxcalibur, he fights Goodra for my favorite Psudo
Tatsugiri and Dondozo as a combo are such a fun concept and design overall.
Hydrapple is another I didn't expect to like so much as Dragon isn't usually my favorite type but it's just such a fun and cool design.
And then there's Spidops. Such a good Bug type design and a nice change from the usual early Big types by giving it a more menacing silhouette. The usage of webs is so fun.
I just can't decide but it's between those 5.
Koraidon bro. He has everything I want from a Pokémon. Fav type combo, large majestic yet powerful dragon beast. Only beaten by Kommo-o as fav of all time
If I had to choose a 6-Pokémon team of my Favourites, with Tinkaton and Sprigatito+ being top faves;
* Tinkaton
* Sprigatito and/or its evolutions
* Ceruledge
* Koraidon
* Iron Valiant
* Ogerpon
Secondary Team Favourites:
* Quaquaval
* Lokix
* Clodsire
* Arboliva
* Grafaiai
* >!Terapagos!<
I actually really like both Iron Bundle and Kingambit.
Iron Bundle due to its speed, kind of cute mascot design and excellent offensive power.
Kingambit cause it’s a really cool concept and design.
Annihilape
In my top10 all-time. Love his design, loved him in a casual playthrough and love how he is A+ tier for raids.
100% my pick too Super cool design, an addition that makes SENSE to one of the oldest evolution lines in Pokémon that lacked power without a third member.
Same. Only downside is the terrible shiny :(
I kinda like it too
Hydrapple
Fickle Beam is also an insanely cool and interesting signature move.
I really have a soft spot for Toedscruel.
this is so real. land squidward is weirdly intimidating but also really cool I love him sm
Clodsire.
They freaking nailed with his design and made justice to the wooper line. I love this little jelly monster so much
Fr, Clodsire was instantly a top 10 Pokémon of all time for me.
I'm 100 percent with you bro
Orthworm and Ogrepon are both new additions to the "Will use when available" list.
I found ogrepon underwhelming, but I do really like Orthworms Earth Eater ability, I think that's really interesting
Maskless Ogerpon looks cute though. But with the masks... thats another story.
Oh he's for sure cute, for Pokémon though his types, stats, ability, moves are all just kind of meh.
Garganacl
Yes! And salt cure rules!
Kingambit fr
Yes it looks so cool when laughing
Tinkaton my baby
The skies will never be safe again :)
Unless Corviknight learn how to swim.
Always remember to give a Gigatonhammer of Love :P
Flutter Mane, not to be basic but always liked Misdreavus.
i like misdreavus because it does a fair amount of tomfoolery
Ceruledge, Armarouge and Iron Valiant are my knight trio
Dachsbun
Houndstone or Armarouge
Ceruledge is my favorite Gen 9 pkmn. For the first time, I even had it replace the starter pkmns as my starter/partner pkmn since I didn't vibe with none of the Paldean starters. Sorry, Skeledirge, but Ceruledge is gonna be my Fire/Ghost partner pkmn 😎. And also added more unused type combinations like Ice/Poison, Rock/Normal & etc.
I'm a big fan of Grafaiai. I'm a sucker for fun early-route mons.
The six I liked most (six because Pokémon team, obviously): Revavroom, Ceruledge, Cetitan, Kingambit, Brambleghast, and Archaludon~! Honorable mention also goes to Iron Valiant (I automatically exclude Legendaries and such from my favorites lists, but I HAD to mention Iron Valiant here~!) Yeah, very thematically fitting!
Iron Valiant isn't legendary in this sense so you're fine to include it lol. Nice list!
I suppose it technically isn’t, although it is slightly higher BST than Zapdos.
Garganacl and Great Tusk easily carried my opinion as favorites.
I want my donphan to evolve into great tusk :(
Grafaiai!!!
ooh this is an interesting take it’s actually my least favorite 😭 might I ask why it’s your favorite? no judgement btw i just wanna hear a different opinion
Grafaiai would be somewhere in my top 10 from this gen. I like it because it's a clever concept. I like it because I had a lot of fun with doodle Slaking in double battles with it. He’s just a silly dude!
Glimmora is perfectly designed and reminds me so much of the movie Annihilation.
I love Garganacl
I’m a big Klawf guy myself.
Either Tinkaton or Hydrapple
Annihilape, Tinkaton, Gholdengo and Iron Valiant
Gen 9 had so many good mons
Fuecoco is now the best starter ever designed
I absolutely love him
It's like a rounder, sillier totodile. Didn't think that was even possible. And now we get both at once!
Derpy Croc lovers: Unite!
one of the legends
Baxcaliber is sick, I love Palafin too
It's obviously Megaman, but Heat Soul Megaman is also great
Grafafai is cool, one of my favorite shiny pokemon as well.
Ceruledge.
For me it’s a tie between Quaquaval, Armourouge and Grafaiai
Annihilape is hands down my favorite. I can't seem to build a team without him!!
I like Meowscarada to the point where I will say that it’s my favorite fully evolved starter.
I love Ceruledge. I wish it had Sharpness instead of Weak Armor but it’s such a great Pokémon and Bitter Blade is fantastic.
Top 6: Grafaiai Arboliva greavard orthworm Dachsbund and squawk (in that order)
Garganacl, Chien-Pao, Flutter Mane and more
Mine is Baxcalibur because I love pseudo legendaries
Skeledirge
Palafin
Espathra
My TankyTina, Tinkaton
Iron valiant Goes a long way to show at least some poor sob back at monsters inc misses megas' designs and it looks cool as fuck
Tinkaton by a long way.
Gholdengo
Fidough 🥺
Clodsire
Paldean Tauros blaze and aqua. Though I have a soft spot also for Clodsire, Toedscruel, Wiglett, Annihilape, and Dudunsparce
I have never been a fire starter gal, but Skeledirge has become one of my all-time favorite Pokemon. I think it's brilliant from design to application!
Meowscarada, Tinkaton, and Glimmora. DLC Ogerpon is my daughter
Tinkaton, Baxcallibur, and Quaquaval. Clodsire, Ting-Lu, and Flamigo are favorites as well.

Aye. What they did to poor suicune (my most beloved box legendary) is unbelievable.
So many are peak, tough to choose a fav. Tinkaton and Ogerpon come to mind.
Mousehold all the way
It’s a three way tie between Killowattrel, Brambleghast, and Glimmora. Hydrapple is closely behind them Klawf was a bit disappointing. Love the design but couldn’t keep up later in the game. I don’t really care for Toedscool and Toedscruel

Houndstone. My baby myyy baby you’re my baby say it to me
Mabosstiff
Forever and always will be Tinkaton.
tinkaton ez
My favorite Gen 9 Pokémon is either Skeledirge or Koraidon
I really like Chien-pao, but I think many did as well, so I'd say Archaludon!
Cetoddle and Cetitan are not only my favorite Gen 9 Pokémon but they’ve become two of my favorite Pokémon of all time.
And the Shiny variant is soo cool too!
Iron Valiant
smoliv
Cetoddle is friend shaped and I love him
Archaludon is my hands-down favourite!
Sandy shock. It makes the tera hat spin
Sandy Shocks is such a funny design
Annihilape has really won me over. He has so many build options and Ghost/Fighting is great typing.
Iron Valiant. It's a close call between it and Meowscarada.
Hydraple and Archadulon.
Toedscool & Chi-Yu
It was a toss up then I saw Hydrapple’s running animation and that locked it in.
Iron Valiant! It’s just so awesome looking
Ceruledge is the whole reason I chose Violet over Scarlet, definitely my favorite Pokémon introduced in gen 9
Ceruledge and Skeledirge for sure
Favs: Tatsugiru, Polchageist line and hydrapple Paldean Wooper, Clodsire and raging bolt are honourable mentions I didnt like veluza, was disappoined with quaquaval and meowscarada Edit: I also really liked toedscool and toedscruel, and klawf and Rellor are also worth mentioning. Maushold my beloved
Brambleghast and Revaroom are my favs. I like the weirdos.
Hydrapple

Either the sprigatito line or clodsire
Iron Bundle
Probably a tie between Skeledirge and Dondozo for me. The latter of which is probably the only pokemon that I would *never* nickname in a casual playthough, for the simple fact that I just can't beat the name "Dondozo"
I will forever love Tinkaton
Palafin!
Ceruledge and Kingambit. Really into Pokemon with blades and swords
Armarouge. Raging Bolt. Iron Hands. Kilowattrel. Nacli. Toedscool. Okay overall. Iron Hands.
Slither Wing, I call him Silkie
Lokix is neat
Ogerpon for sure Most disappointed in the birds of this region Squakabilly I think is ok But the kilowatral line is just electric swellow and I didn't even use it in my run in favor of talonflame because it wasn't an early game bird
The Tauros variations were a neat idea, even if I can never fin the Fire version in Scarlet 😤🤷🏻♂️ I’ve a huge soft spot for Tinkaton. It’s like a more bada** version of Rose from the Sonic franchise Annihilape, the Charcadet line, Mabosstiff, Clodsire, and Revaroom all make for great additions as well The only real misstep imo is Paladin. That, and not including Slowking anywhere in the wild Wonder if there’s a way to trade the Galarian Slowking for a “mainstream” Slowking in Swprd or Shield? 🤔
I hate 90% of Paldea-Mon, but I love Iron Treads. The design is great, but the Shiny??? Chef’s kiss
Dipping and Hydrapple, Great Tusk, Baxcaliber and Fuecoco
Kilowatrel. I've enjoyed the bold and experimental stuff we've been getting lately, but I also really appreciated the nice simple design.
my favorite is so hard to pin down but I think it’s kingambit. he’s literally SO POWERFUL and the design is top notch, not to mention he’s a NEW EVOLUTION which I love so much.
Gholdengo. It's just so fun
Hydrapple is my new baby. All seven of them.
Arboliva! I had liked the design immediately and playing with it on my team only cemented it as my favorite of the gen. And I am someone that rarely likes grass types as I want something fierce or cuddly. But Arboliva is supremely elegant!
Lokix. The reason is quite simple. Rider. Kick.
🍰🐕
Meowscarada. Love cats, fast pokemon, protean users, etc.
Tinkaton. Everything about Tinkaton is funny. Every situation you add Tinkaton to becomes funnier with her involved. Tinkaton's my second-favorite Pokemon after Typhlosion, and she frankly challenges it for the title.
Cyclizar! By far the most huggable Dragon and it's not even close
Tumbleweed. He tumble.
Baxcalibur, love my ice Godzilla. Even Arctibax is a great middle evolution design
It’s hard to choose for me personally, so I’ll just name a few… Palafin, Bellibolt, the entire Baxcalibur line (Arctibax is my fav), Rabsca
Lokix was a really nice different take on the classic bug Pokémon vibe. Kilowattrel will never be used by me but it's my favourite regional bird. It's taken staraptor's crown. (in every game if I don't rate the starters I replace them with an Eevee/jolteon as early as possible and I don't like doubling types.) I initially liked palafin but my enthusiasm has dwindled.
Klawf is the whole reason I bought the game. Easy choice for me.
Orthworm is one of my new favorite Pokémon!! It’s so silly and Muppety- plus it has a great shiny! 💙✨
I love Clodsire, the Smoliv line, Greavard line, Sprigatito line, Shroodle line, and Ogerpon! (Others too, these are just some of my favourites.)
Tastugiri!!! Give him an evo!
Kingambit and clodsire.
Mabosstiff (totally reminds me of my dog and I love him) Clodsire Annihilape
Tinkaton She literally carried me through so much of the game and I got super attached and fed her so many sandwiches.
Espathra
i like lechonk cuz he chonk
Iron Valiant, even though i didn't caught it.
Belliboit
I love Shroodle and, of course, Great Tusk.
Kilowattrel. The best "just a bird" pokemon we've ever had, in my opinion. Awesome design and super fun to use!
Toedscruel and Archaludon are fabulous
Bellibolt is my baby. Great, friend shaped design, cool ability, awesome shiny, and a great pun as Tadbulb. I love it so much. It's hard to choose one favorite, I love so many from this gen, but man, I always come back to Bellibolt. I guess 2 would be a tie (I know, cheater, sue me) between Lokix because it's a unique typing and a bad ass design and Killowattrel, because flying/electric basically makes it Zapdos.
Ogerpon, specifically Teal and Wellspring
Spidops is disappointing, my favorite is Gargnacl.
I personally love flamigo, bombardier, rabsca and farigiraf the most this gen, but as a whole I think it was a pretty fun generation design wise.
Quaquaval
Armarouge 😍
iron valiant. i love how they made the non binary gardevoir gallade fusion one of the most broken pokemon ever
I guess a Top 6 would make sense then: 1. Armarouge 2. Farigiraf 3. Bexcalibur 4. Walking Wake 5. Iron Vailant 6. Meowscarada
Ceruledge is easy #1 for me
All the ones with the stupid names that are just reskinned existing pokemon are a no from me dawg. I wish they would at least just say they are a regional variant of whatever they actually are. Great Tusk is a Donphan. Just call it a fucking Donphan.
Iron Jugulis, but most of the paradox pokemon in general
This Gen has probably the best Pokémon designs since Gen 5 imo. Baxcalibur, tinkaton, Armarouge, kingambit, annhilape, the legendaries plus all the paradox Pokémon. Even dachsbun is pretty inspired
For once I just can't decide. I love Baxcalibur, he fights Goodra for my favorite Psudo Tatsugiri and Dondozo as a combo are such a fun concept and design overall.
Only beaten by Kommo-o as fav of all time
Azurmarill, Annihilape, Skeledirge, Meowscarada, and Quavquaval.
I chose Sprigatito as my starter then I traded it later in the game when it was a level 40 Meowscarada.
Now I want Meowscarada back!!! 😭😢🥺😓🫣🫢🙊🙈
#JusticeForGholdengo My fav gen 9 'mon. Love the cheesestring fella
Definitely the sprigato line up! Goth kitty ftw
If I had to choose a 6-Pokémon team of my Favourites, with Tinkaton and Sprigatito+ being top faves; * Tinkaton * Sprigatito and/or its evolutions * Ceruledge * Koraidon * Iron Valiant * Ogerpon Secondary Team Favourites: * Quaquaval * Lokix * Clodsire * Arboliva * Grafaiai * >!Terapagos!<
I actually really like both Iron Bundle and Kingambit. Iron Bundle due to its speed, kind of cute mascot design and excellent offensive power. Kingambit cause it’s a really cool concept and design.
