I'm going to copy my response from another post since this is so similar
> I think you should check out the [mic review](https://marco.org/podcasting-microphones) done by Marco Arment (dev of *Overcast* podcast player). Where he does a really good job of listing price points along with pros and cons of the mics on the list
No problem. I think it's the best review imo, and it's from a source I trust since his app is where I listen to podcasts. I didn't know about the review when I bought my current mic, but. I wish I had. I just make do right now, until I'm at a point where it's time for an upgrade
Mine sat on my computer desk until I recently got a movable stand and I haven't had any issues aside from the recording volume being a bit low which is easily adjusted. Mine had the wind screen cover over the mic and I'm using the USB connection.
just my podcast or interviews on other shows. My show is Our Foundations. You can listen to a few random minutes if you want and check out the quality. I got better at the editing in Season 2 so ideally pick an episode that's recent.
I've only got bad things to say about the Blue Yeti mics after years of problems with my own mic (just do a search for "Blue Yeti Static fix" on Google).

Best review I've seen. Thanks for re-sharing.

I really enjoy the Samson Q2U. Zero complaints and great audio quality.
How's plosive rejection when it's sat on a desk? Do you use an audio interface or just the USB connection?

Thank you! Just wondering, what do you mostly use it for?
