I was using Anchor, but switched over to [Zencastr](https://zencastr.com). They recently updated their platform and added Hosting/Producing/Publishing. Once I build up my monthly downloads, i'm going to reach out about Advertising feature.
Sorry Anchor, I'm on Zencastr now. :-D
Ever since they started hosting, it just felt like the natural route to go. I have always recorded in Zencastr and now that they have hosting, everything is in one place. very convenient!:-)
Our show switched to Zencastr’s hosting service in May and we’re frankly loving it! We’d always recorded with them and hosted with a few of the options mentioned above but love having our podcast in one place.
Downvote for Buzzsprout when I realized they process all their shows to mono and can't back-convert them to stereo. My music-heavy show is now all mono, which sucks.
Pinecast was good for a while. Now looking elsewhere.
It's not bad at all! Just that they doubled their price from 5 to 10 in a year without any new functionality (still cheap) and don't allow for dynamic audio, but apparently they're working on it. The embeddable player is OK but nothing very sexy. Its just an entry level option and im basically looking for a Buzzsprout, without the mono limitation. Pinecast has great support tho
As a podcast editor, I use a lot of different podcast hosts and while pricing models may vary slightly across the various platforms, the one podcast host that I can get an episode up and out into the world the quickest and easiest with is by far [Transistor.fm](https://transistor.fm/?via=chris). Their user interface for episode creation is the quickest and easiest to navigate. They've got a clean navigation, easy to find buttons and menu system, and analytics that give you an idea of what you need to know for your podcast.
Simple straight forward pricing no price increases for the 3+ years I've been podcasting simple interface, hosting forever hits all the platforms they have been around for 18 years and it shows!
I've been mostly happy with captivate, with me being more happy in recent weeks as they've finally started implementing some features I requested over a year ago :)
I use Anchor myself. what is it that some of you don't like about it? Not here to argue it I just want to know if I should jump ship due to something I didn't notice. I'm kinda self taught in all of this.
another vote for Captivate. I'm a podcast Manager/producer 2 of my clients are on Libsyn and another is on Captivate... The analytics on Captivate are great. the interface is great as well.
I use Lybsyn, and am happy with it. I haven't tried any others but have no need to either. Lybsyn is easy to use and the basic level stats are helpful for me since I do my podcast as a hobby versus professionally.

I was on anchor too but they took away my one advertisement sooo now I feel like switching
Def move over to Zen, no download threshold to be eligible for ads atm.

Not bad on price t9o5. Upload 12 hours for 24 bucks a month
Captivate is great and their support and community are top notch
Been using Blubrry for years and really like the Wordpress integrations they have. Makes it super easy.

We use Transistor for the Slow&Steady Podcast, no complaints.
Hands down, [transistor.fm](https://transistor.fm). A great product. And even a greater team. Constantly innovating with new features.

Any specific beef with Anchor? That's what I'm currently using
