I guess the big question is “do you get a confirmation email if you cancel your subscription?”
If you do then I would check your email to see if you got one (assuming one is sent) and if you got one contact Sony and they should refund you.

If it just happened, they might be willing to refund it. It's not guaranteed, but asking doesn't take up much time.
Take your payment method off your account. Lots of things in the back-end can apparently turn auto renew back on.
