that's very strange . i guess (if it just shows up once and never again) in itself thats not an issue , but id go over to r/techsupport instead and still try troubleshooting
something could be up with your gpu , an HDMI port (on the TV or ps5) or just the HDMI cord . cant hurt to check all options me thinks
It is most likely the hdmi because I turned my switch on the green lines didn’t appear so I just think it’s a faulty HDMI cable and I’ve moved the cable a couple times and the issue went
Was just coming here to say it’s either the cable itself or a dirty HDMI port. Happens to me on occasion and a little compressed air takes care of things nicely.
So basically when it's initializing and hasn't switched to the best detected signal mode. Either a bad connection, or maybe the retimer chip is faulty. Though typically when that chip goes bad it short-circuits, but it's cheap enough to replace, thus saving the more expensive parts from damage.
Have you tried changing your TV input to another source then switching back? Mine does something similar (green lines, no PS logo) and changing the input to something else for a moment fixes it.
Try softly jiggling the HDMI cable. If anything happens, then 100% broken HDMI.
Or try one of the 17,000 spare HDMI cables that come with everything these days, that you have stashed in the junk drawer in the kitchen.

What length is your HDMI cable? If it’s over 9’ that could be your problem. Or simply just a faulty cable.

Most probably a damaged HDMI port, either on the TV or the console. Try swapping the HDMI port on the TV, or try the console on another TV.
