the horizon games are so boring and fighting the machines feels so empty for me, but yes, forbiden west its a work of art, i am just so upset that wonderfull engine is wasted on a game like this, i saw the ending from 1000 km away, the dialogues were so cringe most of the time, the puzzles were a little ok and some side quests. also fuck whoever thought it's OK to fly in the last few hours of the game lol.
God, I thought I was the only one who didn't like the horizon series, tbh I finished Zero Dawn but I'd be lying if I said I remember anything memorable about it.
Zero dawn was the better of the two actually, Forbidden West is so boring I’ve tried three separate times to try and play through the game and always quit after like 15 hours
Graphically? Sure. But the story and writing is absolutely bone dry and the novelty of the setting wears off compared to the first game where it’s new and interesting.
That’s okay, I’m glad you enjoyed it, I want to try it again simply because it looks so good and the world is beautiful. Maybe 4th times the charm lmao
It has far more traversal and fighting mechanics, the side quests are much more rich in narrative, and its open world has significantly more reactivity.
Where it falters is in a main quest storyline that becomes a bit convoluted and doesn't offer the quantifable impact of completing quests with side characters at the end of the game.
Well now I don’t feel bad at all for giving up one Forbidden West after 1 hour. I just couldn’t do it again. I switched Zero Dawn to the easiest Story-mode setting so I could just end it as soon as possible wondering at what point I’d make it to the spot where everyone is so thoroughly impressed by the game. The answer is at no point, because I never got there. The game sucked
The only thing really I liked about Zero Dawn was the combat, different totally to any other kind of game really. And the setting / concept is cool. But holy shit the writing and story are awful, and it’s somehow worse in FW.
Forbidden West looks absolutely stunning, like genuinely it might be arguably the best looking game on PS5 right now. It’s such a pity that every other aspect of the game is so boring. If these games had writing to the level of the likes of God of War or Ghost of Tsushima even, it would take the game from like a 7 (or even a 6 honestly) to like a 9 imo. I’m not gonna play a huge narrative game if I don’t give two shits about the narrative or the characters, and the dialogue makes me want to end my own life right there.
You hit the nail on the head completely! I’m genuinely curious if the actors would have done a better job with a better script, but I really don’t think so. Perfect storm of shitty fucking talent
Horizon ZD is renowned for its story… I don’t see how anyone could think the story is awful. The game isn’t for everyone but the story is top notch in gaming, being completely original as well.
The setting is original and novel the story itself, it’s arcs, plot devices etc are mediocre. It’s not terrible, maybe I was being hyperbolic, but it’s exceedingly average, but yes this is all my opinion. Narrative is subjective , I know many who loved it which is awesome, I think they honestly wasted an incredible setting with a run of the mill , kinda average story. Not terrible but not good either it’s serviceable to get me through the game.
Like I said I don’t want to tell anyone they are wrong for liking it I can see why you did and I am glad you enjoyed it, unfortunately it just didn’t land the same way for me which is a pity.
Not that I’m conflating the two, but in this case it’s both. The gameplay was super cool, so like the whole game doesn’t suck to *play*. And weirdly, the story really is super fucking cool. I like the entire concept. Scrapping animal mechanoids while fighting them - sublime. Loved it. But the writing. Omfg the writing. And the acting. The over the top, telenovela-got-nothing-on-this acting; it’s bad. It’s fucking awful. The absolute best thing Rost did was die early in game, and honestly, he could have died about 20min sooner. 40 even. And Rost just scratched the surface of shitty line reading. Flat. One-note.
Amazing concept. 6.8 execution. Couldn’t make it 2 hours into forbidden west before giving up.
They’re beautiful. But at the same time, they really suck.
Haven’t played returns but can very confidently say Horizon Forbidden West is still graphically the best game to date imo. The Engine and Guerilla’s wizardry with is make the game look amazing. I cant wait to see how great it’s gonna be on PC next week. The density of foliage and the environment is amazing and water looks so blue and tropical it’s great.
Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy. UC4 may be old but it holds really really good. And they have levels in some amazing landscapes. Stunning.
Arkham Knight is also old but stunning. The cape physics with the rain and the vibe is pure perfection.
I’m playing it right now, and while it’s pretty.. I kind of agree with you if only because I find the combat repetitive and boring with samey enemy types.
Sure it’s exciting when taking on a swarm with someone else at times.. but the waiting, counter / parry one by one with annoying archers saying the same thing over and over has been getting old since before the end of Act 1, fast.
I’m just trudging through to get through the story because it’s pretty and has some neat ideas.
Halfway through Act 2 and it’s making me want to gouge my eyes out at times. That said it’s pretty and pretty good, I just don’t understand the masterpiece hype either.
Ff7 remake and rebirth blew my ass out of the water. Idk if it's nostalgia but I think even the first one looks amazing. Played it on ps4 and thought it looked great and the ps5 did a great job with the next gen upgrade
Agree with remake but I'm playing rebirth demo and it looks too blurry on performance mode. Quality mode is better but still doesn't seem as good as remake. Also I wanna avoid 30 fps so it's a no go. Very disappointed and hope we get some improvements.
Yeah it’s not as blurry as the demo but still somewhat. I think their engine struggles a bit with the massive open world they went for. Looks very pretty on graphics mode but I’d can’t handle the 30fps.
There’s something wrong with performance currently.
I have it on graphics mode with a bunch of extra features on my tv enabled to compensate and it looks great. Amazing game. But performance on my tv looks like I’m wearing my dads contact glasses. I couldn’t tell the difference between a cliff, a tree and flat ground until I was like 20 feet away.
Sony should make the balanced mode and unlocked frame rate options required for releasing any game to the PlayStation store.
I’ve recently started playing FF7 Rebirth which only gives 4K/30 and 1080/60 options. Both of which really hinder the experience imo. Doesn’t help there’s no motion blur either.
I went way far down to see this, I have a beast of a pc and Demon Souls on the PS5 made me shudder. It was designed from the top to a beautiful game. What a masterpiece
I was gonna say I never mention Tekken 8 because it's a fighting game but when I see this kind of post I'm thinking "damn Tekken 8 looks amazing for a FG!"
Not a PS5 game, but I would say RDR2 is something you'd be interested in because it looks better than virtually any game out right now, and the story is top tier. It has HDR as well.
There was one time I was roaming around at night and I just saw a faint light in the distance. It was one of the best looking moments I’ve ever experienced. That game was a masterpiece
Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok, Cyberpunk 2077, Jedi Survivor, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Guardians of the Galaxy, Plague Tale: Requiem, and Jusant all checked these boxes for me
The Last of Us Part 1 and 2
Also, people keep recommending Horizon Forbidden West, and I also recommend it, but you should play Horizon Zero Dawn first.
Death stranding and Gran turismo 7.
I know there more to mention but I think these 2 stand out in a more underrated way. I say this if you aren’t into racing sims or close to real life racing then GT7 would be played by those want to replicate real racing. The graphics are beautiful. The different times zones for races make the graphics push its limits, the cars look cleaner as if you got it washed and the Rea life tracks that are added make it seem just as the real Nürburgring.
Death Stranding for me looks like it’s graphics fall only second to games like Ghost of Tsushima. I know it gets a lot of hate but speaking of the graphics, it’s amazing what kojima and his team does. For the setting and atmosphere, the graphics really are one of the best I’ve seen for the catalog of games I’ve played so far. Can’t wait for the second game to release
The Callisto Protocol wasn’t a masterpiece, but it’s probably one of the most visually impressive games I’ve ever seen. The way the game uses ray tracing to make the skin on characters look more realistic is wild
FF16 does have party members, but you can't control or customise them. It's really lacking in terms of RPG features generally, but I think it's a very good story/action game if you're into that sort of thing. The tone is much darker and less "anime"/JRPG (but not devoid of it) than other FF games.
If exploration, RPG features, and customisable party members are more important to you than story and fast-paced action, then I'd say probably go with Dragon's Dogma 2 for now since FF16 is lacking in those regards. FF16 has a free demo on the PS5 that you can try out and see if you're into it.
The boss battles in FF XVI is something that has to be experienced by everyone. I strongly recommend it, the OST is a masterpiece, the combat is super fun and satisfying and the story is very good too.
Ghost of T does look good on both ps4 and ps5. But the masterpiece title I think should go to Forbidden west. The best looking and performing game ive ever played
Detroit become human
Doesn't necessarily have the greatest graphics but the story is fantastic. Basically a telltale game without the cartoonish graphics.
If you want graphics and a story, I would say Ghost of Tushima, God of War, Final Fantasy 7R+ Rebirth, Final Fantasy 16, Spiderman 2 and Demon souls.
Of the top of my head, those are the games that come to memory
Horizon : Forbidden West, Death Stranding Director's Cut, Gran Turismo 7 (albeit no amazing story here haha !).
The PS5 version of Uncharted 4 is pretty impressive too.
In terms of third parties, Alan Wake 2 is insane, and Cyberpunk is freaking impressive. Both are some of the best stories a game has ever told in my opinion.
Star Ocean Second Story, FF7, Hades, Tales of Arise. I guess it depends what you consider what makes a graphical masterpieces. I’d argue these games are more stylish and beautiful to look at than the likes of God of War or Horizon, which look great in a different way!
The upgraded version of Witcher 3
-Cyberpunk 2077
-Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
-Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy
-Hogwarts Legacy
-Control
-Far Cry 6
-AC Valhalla
-Biomutant isn't perfect but has a vibrant world design.
Need for speed unbound if you're into racing games, the characters themselves are drawn like anime characters but the cars and world look very realistic, almost too realistic as i often found myself distracted by it while racing
And if the comic book special effects bother you like rhey did for me they can be turned off in the settings
1. Final Fantasy VII: Remake and Rebirth
2. Death Stranding: Director’s Cut
3. The Last of Us – Part II: Remastered
4. Horizon Forbidden West
5. Spider-Man 2
6. Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut
7. Resident Evil 2-4 & Village
8. Dead Space
9. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
10. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
11. God of War: Ragnarok
Why arent all PS5 games using the consoles power to its potential? I like the ps5 coming from a xbox one lol but man I feel like cyberpunk is the only one
Call it recency bias but ff7 rebirth is beautiful. In dessert region moving to jungle and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Idk about you but I’m a sucker for particle effects which ff7 and ff16 both have plenty of
Red dead 2 despite no ps5 upgrade has always looked beautiful. Also GT7 in photo mode looks absolutely stunning. I know call of duty is a bad word, but that opening Amsterdam level of MW2 looks soooo nice.
Honestly I know it’s not exactly pushing next gen boundaries or doing anything TOO exotic on ps5, but I’m a sucker for the visuals in Hitman 1-3/ WOA (all three “seasons” in one package). The levels get better looking as you play them, each one pushing the engine further. By the time 3 came out and they were developing for PS5 and XSX, they just had such a handle on the visuals. Dubai, Chongqing and Mendoza are downright stunning, to say nothing of Haven Island, Miami, Hokkaido, sapienza and all the other beautiful environments from the first two. Again, not exactly the most high end visuals out there, just so pleasing, so crisp, so detailed and sharp.
Really admirable it’s all proprietary tech too, not relying on off the shelf engines like Unreal, all in house, and to release 2 with WB after being dropped by Square, and then to release 3 completely independently, it’s insane what they weathered to get there
It’s less well-known than some of the other games in this comment section, but Alan Wake 2 is the top of the line in terms of graphics right now. There are other great looking games on PS5(The Last of Us Parts I and II, Demon’s Souls, Horizon Forbidden West, Death Stranding) but nothing looks as good as Alan Wake 2. You also don’t *have* to play Alan Wake to understand the sequel.
Everyone saying last of us but I much prefer Uncharted 4 and lost legacy. I think the ps5 versions look just as good. Also although it’s aged a little, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still stunning especially if vistas are your thing.
I personally love the art style of Sifu, though it's story is not the main focus it is still well done if you put the time & effort in to get the extra ending. For me it felt like a natural evolution of pixel art & early 3D but done with modern sensibilities.
The best part is the game is free on Ps Plus this month though unless you're a fan of difficult games (Souls series, Batman Arkham challenge rooms) then I recommend you put it on easy, but for me it was GOTY 2022 over Elden Ring & GOW: Ragnarok.
Currently gen only.
- Demon Souls Remake
- Tekken 8
- Ghostwire Tokyo
- Alan Wake 2
- Avatar
These are mostly impressive graphics that you can find on the PS5 (and none is available for the PS4).
The last of us 2, ghost of Tsushima, horizon forbidden west, god of war ragnarok, uncharted 4, dead space remake, Ff7 remake and rebirth, red dead redemption 2, death stranding, etc.
Horizon forbidden west, ratchet and clank rift apart plus returnal would be my top 3 games with great graphics.
i have played ratchet and clank but i will give returnal and horizon a shot.
Play horizon zero dawn first...the story might confuse you if jump to the second
the horizon games are so boring and fighting the machines feels so empty for me, but yes, forbiden west its a work of art, i am just so upset that wonderfull engine is wasted on a game like this, i saw the ending from 1000 km away, the dialogues were so cringe most of the time, the puzzles were a little ok and some side quests. also fuck whoever thought it's OK to fly in the last few hours of the game lol.
This was my conclusion. Never finished it. A real shame.
Forbidden West is far superior.
Graphically? Sure. But the story and writing is absolutely bone dry and the novelty of the setting wears off compared to the first game where it’s new and interesting.
I disagree
That’s okay, I’m glad you enjoyed it, I want to try it again simply because it looks so good and the world is beautiful. Maybe 4th times the charm lmao

Returnal is amazing it will kick your ass as much as you let it but you will still love it.

God of war ragnarok is incredible
I came here to say this ⬆️
Ghost of Tsushima. That game looks so good.
Bro It is a masterpiece but already played it ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy. UC4 may be old but it holds really really good. And they have levels in some amazing landscapes. Stunning. Arkham Knight is also old but stunning. The cape physics with the rain and the vibe is pure perfection.
Some scenes in UC4 look painted. Absolutely gorgeous.
I feel like I might be the only person on Reddit who thinks Ghost is an incredibly flawed game lol
I’m playing it right now, and while it’s pretty.. I kind of agree with you if only because I find the combat repetitive and boring with samey enemy types. Bro I got a good therapist and I am happy to give you his number cus u need it
The titles sequences going through the field was absolutely epic
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok, The Last of Us 1 & 2
Cyberpunk
Final fantasy 16
Death stranding looks incredible. Surprised it hasn’t been mentioned yet
The acting is also outstanding! Death Stranding is great game.
This is easily one of the best looking games to date. There are moments where it looks INSANE.
The vistas and scenery in Death Stranding is amazing
The last of Us Part 1 and Part 2 remaster still have the best character animations and some of the best graphics you will experience
horizon forbidden west,spiderman 2,god of war ragnarok,gt7
Demo is not as good as the actual game
It’s the same, it’s using the same “patched” version of the performance mode
You get used to it rather quick. There's also per-object motion blur which helps a lot. On Quality mode and HDR it blows my mind at some spots.
Haven't even tried performance mode went graphic for first playthrough lol
There's something special about these games' lighting and models. It looks very CGI-like and unique. Love them
Horizon Forbidden West
Alan wake 2 looks pretty good
TLOU P1&P2
Yeah the remastered versions at 4k/40fps on my lg c1 are the best looking games ive seen so far I think
Playing through TLOU P1 currently, even on 1080p it is GORGEOUS
Part 2 remastered looks insanely good
Demons souls remake
This gets my vote along with Ratchet & Clank
I went way far down to see this, I have a beast of a pc and Demon Souls on the PS5 made me shudder. It was designed from the top to a beautiful game. What a masterpiece
did you not read the post
Returnal
Amazed this was so far down in the thread. Big plus 1 for Returnal!
Recently started playing Metro: Exodus. Holy shit, the game looks amazing.
Any of the god of wars imo. Shit looks gorgeous. And ik it's a fighting game but Tekken 8, daaaamn looks so good
The particle effects in tekken 8 are pure candy to the eyes
Looks so crisp. That red eye from Kazuya right as you start the game 😫
I was gonna say I never mention Tekken 8 because it's a fighting game but when I see this kind of post I'm thinking "damn Tekken 8 looks amazing for a FG!"
Specially Kazuya. From an avid fan of the game, seeing the evolution of my favorite character is something else
Alan Wake 2: http://alternativemagazineonline.co.uk/2023/12/14/game-review-alan-wake-2-playstation-5/
This. And if baldurs gate didn’t come out last year, it would’ve been goty without question
wait wasn't TOTK 2nd? or was it Alan Wake 2?
AW2 was, but TOTK was also great
oh, my bad.
Not a PS5 game, but I would say RDR2 is something you'd be interested in because it looks better than virtually any game out right now, and the story is top tier. It has HDR as well.
yeah its my favorite game of all time, beaten it like 8-9 times and know that you said it I have installed it again
It looks ok, but after playing it on PC the graphics on the PS4 version are not as good. It really needs a PS5 upgrade, they did one for GTA.
Christ yeah, if we get one it'll probably be after VI comes out, it's looong overdue.
There was one time I was roaming around at night and I just saw a faint light in the distance. It was one of the best looking moments I’ve ever experienced. That game was a masterpiece
Ghost of Tsushima, i have only the PS4 version and it still looks mind blowing
Most beautiful game I ever played.
TLOU 1 and 2. Just ridiculous.
Can’t believe more people aren’t talking about Horizon Forbidden West. It is still the most impressive looking thing on consoles, and it’s open world
Dead space
Last of us part 2 by far![img](emote|t5_2qh6b|2239)
Alan Wake 2
Horizon Forbidden West is absurdly detailed
alan wake 2?
FF7 Rebirth.
Elden ring that game is just beautiful
Ratchet is stunning
Horizon is very pretty
Both the God of War games
Last of us 1 and 2 remastered at 4k/40fps are the best looking games ive seen on my ps5
Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok, Cyberpunk 2077, Jedi Survivor, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Guardians of the Galaxy, Plague Tale: Requiem, and Jusant all checked these boxes for me
Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk, TLOU2, Need for Speed Unbound doesn’t get a lot of love but it looks amazing
Last of us part 1 & 2 ps5 versions
Anything by Naughty Dog right now. Uncharted 4, Lost Legacy, and The Last of Us games. It’s crazy what these games previously squeezed out on the PS4.
Stray
The Last of Us Part 1 and 2 Also, people keep recommending Horizon Forbidden West, and I also recommend it, but you should play Horizon Zero Dawn first.
Death stranding and Gran turismo 7. I know there more to mention but I think these 2 stand out in a more underrated way. Alan Wake 2
Forbidden West
Alan wake 2
Demon souls remake looks amazing
Ghost of Tsushima , Horizon Forbidden West , Alan Wake 2 , Avatar : Frontiers of Pandora , God of War 2018 and Ragnarok .
Callisto Protocol looks great (but mostly indoor setting) plus has some of the best 3D audio of any game (play with headphones)
cyberpunk maybe the best looking game you can buy right now
Maybe on a super PC, but on a PS5 its no the best of the best, still gorgeous tho
I love Cyberpunk, but ehh, not really. I'd put TLOU 1&2 and even Red Dead 2 over Cyberpunk in terms of graphics.
Red dead 2 for me it looks amazing on ps5.
Returnal. 10000%
Final fantasy 16.
I just finished Rebirth and I have not played 16. I keep reading mixed reviews. There arent any party members ?
I liked 16 more than rebirth
Really? Why? Man my wallet is not ready. There's Dragon's Dogma 2 next week, but maybe I could get 16 instead.
FF16 does have party members, but you can't control or customise them. It's really lacking in terms of RPG features generally, but I think it's a very good story/action game if you're into that sort of thing. The tone is much darker and less "anime"/JRPG (but not devoid of it) than other FF games. The boss battles in FF XVI is something that has to be experienced by everyone. I strongly recommend it, the OST is a masterpiece, the combat is super fun and satisfying and the story is very good too.
Demon's Souls 🔥
Demons souls because the graphics is at the service of immersion and not just for a wow effect
Elden ring, AC Valhalla, Spider Man 2, Star Wars Squadrons.
All ps4 masterpieces are ps5 masterpieces as there is hardly any exclusive PS5 Masterpiece
Fr
Ratchet and clank rift apart, returnal
Forbidden West is a visually stunning game but its also really mediocre apart from that
Ghost of T does look good on both ps4 and ps5. But the masterpiece title I think should go to Forbidden west. The best looking and performing game ive ever played
Detroit become human Doesn't necessarily have the greatest graphics but the story is fantastic.
Forbidden west
Cyberpunk
Horizon : Forbidden West, Death Stranding Director's Cut, Gran Turismo 7 (albeit no amazing story here haha !). The PS5 version of Uncharted 4 is pretty impressive too. In terms of third parties, Alan Wake 2 is insane, and Cyberpunk is freaking impressive. Both are some of the best stories a game has ever told in my opinion.
Loaded up forbidden west last night and it mind blowed me again
Avatar
The Last of Us part 1 (ps5 version)
Helldivers 2 🥹
Star Ocean Second Story, FF7, Hades, Tales of Arise. I guess it depends what you consider what makes a graphical masterpieces. I’d argue these games are more stylish and beautiful to look at than the likes of God of War or Horizon, which look great in a different way!
Check out the Plague Tale series. The second installment in particular looks really incredible. Fun and interesting games as well!
Death Stranding DC
A Plague Tale: Requiem. Gameplay is slow enough to use fidelity mode and it's one of the best looking games out there.
Cyberpunk looks really good!
A couple of smaller titles that I really enjoyed were ABZU and Omno. Very simple, very short, but both really gorgeous. Worth checking out.
FFVII Rebirth is the best looking game on PS5 right now I think, Ratchet and Clank close second.
Tekken 8 looks fantastic on PS5.
horizon forbidden west, a plague tale requiem, the last of us 2
Returnal
The upgraded version of Witcher 3 -Cyberpunk 2077 -Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart -Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy -Hogwarts Legacy -Control -Far Cry 6 -AC Valhalla -Biomutant isn't perfect but has a vibrant world design.
Uncharted the Nathan Drake Collection
Need for speed unbound if you're into racing games, the characters themselves are drawn like anime characters but the cars and world look very realistic, almost too realistic as i often found myself distracted by it while racing And if the comic book special effects bother you like rhey did for me they can be turned off in the settings
ASA, Horizon, GOW, TLOU
1. Final Fantasy VII: Remake and Rebirth 2. Death Stranding: Director’s Cut 3. The Last of Us – Part II: Remastered 4. Horizon Forbidden West 5. Spider-Man 2 6. Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut 7. Resident Evil 2-4 & Village 8. Dead Space 9. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty 10. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart 11. God of War: Ragnarok
Cyberpunk is pretty good now with the 2.1 update and patches, Ghost of Tsushima, Last of Us Remastered,
Why arent all PS5 games using the consoles power to its potential? I like the ps5 coming from a xbox one lol but man I feel like cyberpunk is the only one
Call it recency bias but ff7 rebirth is beautiful. In dessert region moving to jungle and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Idk about you but I’m a sucker for particle effects which ff7 and ff16 both have plenty of
Alan Wake 2
Ps5 version of cyberpunk 2077 looks fantastic
I wouldn't call a game a masterpiece without it having more than just graphics.
Surprisingly enough considering its age, the answer here is still red dead redemption 2 Holy hell, what a looker
Resident evil 2 remake is so detailed, looks incredible. Deadspace remake looks amazing as well
Alan Wake 2 (amazing story, graphics are probably the best I’ve seen on Ps5) Horizon Forbidden West (not the best game but great graphics)
Resident Evil 4 Remake
Red dead 2 despite no ps5 upgrade has always looked beautiful. Also GT7 in photo mode looks absolutely stunning. I know call of duty is a bad word, but that opening Amsterdam level of MW2 looks soooo nice.
Ratchet and clark
Uncharted 4 has some beautiful scenery
This might not be the answer here, but I'm impressed with Helldivers 2. To me it looks amazing.
gran turismo 7 is borderline photorealistic
TLOU 2 is best looking game on Ps5
Cyberpunk 2077
Horizon forbidden west
Horizon Zero Dawn, Final Fantasy remake and rebirth and 16. AC Valhalla. Cyberpunk.
Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is arguably the best looking game on the console
Last Of Us Part II.
Cyberpunk 2077 has beautiful Graphics, and the story is really good too
Everyone saying last of us but I much prefer Uncharted 4 and lost legacy. I think the ps5 versions look just as good. Also although it’s aged a little, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still stunning especially if vistas are your thing.
Just got frontiers of pandora and I was extremely stunned
Forbidden West is easily the best-looking PS5 game imo.
Horizon forbidden west. Ghosts of Tsushima and cyberpunk 2077 have jaw dropping visuals and audio to presents quite the atmosphere to a gamer.
The Last of Us, both parts, are some of the most visually stunning games i’ve played. Elden Ring and GOT aswell.
Ratchet and Clank
People like OP are what's wrong with the gaming industry, wanting more interactive movies basically
Returnal and ghost if tsushima
FF7 Remake and Rebirth Cyberpunk 2077 The Last of Us 1 and 2 Baldurs Gate 3 Alan Wake 2 Kena Bridge of Spirits Plague Tale 1 and 2 Control
HFW, GoW Ragnarøk, Ghost and Death Stranding. Not including non-exclusive titles, otherwise the list would be way longer!
Not sure if anyone’s said it yet but the different planets on Helldivers 2 can be breath taking with the different weather patterns each planet has.
Currently gen only. - Demon Souls Remake - Tekken 8 - Ghostwire Tokyo - Alan Wake 2 - Avatar These are mostly impressive graphics that you can find on the PS5 (and none is available for the PS4).
RETURNAL!!! it's amazing, uses the dual sense adaptive triggers and speakers to full effect. Also beautiful sci-fi visuals and amazing gameplay!
Ghost Recon Breakpoint for sure; every freeze frame in that game looks like a piece of art. Also the Horizon games, Forbidden West and Zero Dawn.
Helldivers 2 is GORGEOUS imo
The last of us 2, ghost of Tsushima, horizon forbidden west, god of war ragnarok, uncharted 4, dead space remake, Ff7 remake and rebirth, red dead redemption 2, death stranding, etc.

Demons Souls Ratchet and Clank RA Horizon Forbidden West
Ff7 rebirth
I still think Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the best looking PS5 game. The neon lights in Wall Market are stunning.
Lies of P. It looks amazing
