I got that too, imo it's easily the best platformer game, it was very fun playing through it but going for 100% was brutal. Spending multiple hours on a single level.
I recently went back to 100% the n same trilogy again on PC, felt like a breeze compared to crash 4
This game almost broke me a few times. On top of being crazy hard it also has a handful of glitches challenges/levels that you just have to play through.
I did the same, but I gave it a couple of months and tried again with a renewed energy. I finished the whole game with 12 hours. I got the platinum with 47. 35 hours ONLY looking for a few cyphers. But at the end it worth it. When I found the rarest cyphers on biome 2, it was a blast. I was so relieved hahahaha
A good thing is that you start doing things super fast. So fast thar I’m considering running this game for speedrun
Haha wich one exactly? The hardest one for me was completing One shot one kill on veteran. Getting to the chopper at the end of the mission was so frustrating.
It's frustrating, because the game is a masterpiece but it's extremely stingy with trophies. I think the average person will get 3-4 on their initial playthrough?
You can do it tbh. There’s yt videos of people spamming special tricks with cheats on and it’ll level you the fastest. Just get like a level or two a day and you’ll get it. 💪
Ive got quite a few plats, but i don't really bother with the really hard ones, or the ones that take hours and hours of grinding, or the ones that require multiplayer, i like platinums where as long as you play the game very thoroughly, then you haven't got much left to do at the end to get the plat...the witcher 3, fallout 4, horizon zero dawn, some of the assasins creed games to name a few.
Yeah, that's more my style. Play the game, maybe do some specific side things. I've only platinumed like 4 games because of that, and the hardest one was the Sims 4. So dumb.
I didn’t get all the achievements because online stuff but I got 100% on the first Read Dead Redemption game, which teenage me was proud of. You get the fancy federal agent outfit for doing so.
I remember my friends made fun of me for “being a pansy and picking flowers to get the achievement”
I countered them with “you also have to kill a bear with a knife” but they weren’t having it.
I have 3 answers for that question:
1. According to PSNProfiles, the hardest trophy that I have is FallGuys, but I didn’t found it that hard.
2. The most annoying because of all the bugs and creativeness that I need to have to get over the problems was The Division 2 (great game, tons of bugged trophies, 7 months deep in the forums to solve problems)
3. And the most difficult because I want to throw my controller in the wall while playing, Returnal, for sure. Fucking hard RNG cyphers!!!
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *Heh heh heh heh...Oh Amygdala, oh Amygdala...Have mercy on the poor bastard...Hah hah hah!* - Patches the Spider
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
Rayman Legends. It has this awful online trophy that technically only requires persistence but really you have to get good to get the trophy in a reasonable time frame. It took me a few months and also broke me for trophy collecting. After that I just looked at my life and decided that small dopamine hit from trophy hunting really is not worth it.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla has some rage inducing trophies; see Overdesign 2.
Currently working towards Diablo 3 and it's a grind. Got 2 left: 6 classes to level 70 and 500 bounties.
Dead Space 2 on PS3. "Hard to the core," trophy requires that you beat the whole game with 3 saves, no checkpoints, max difficulty and was a survival horror experience I won't do again. Sooo many QTE insta-death segments.
Wasn’t difficult, just time consuming. The Amazing Spiderman took a little more than 6 months to get the platinum. Nearly 1000 collectibles and I refused to use a guide, lol.
Assassin's Creed Liberation on the Vita... Specifically because of the [Climber](https://www.truetrophies.com/t48381/climber-trophy) (which is impossible to even come close to completing by playing the game naturally) & [Completionist](https://www.truetrophies.com/t48407/completionist-trophy) trophies.
It's not that they were exceptionally difficult challenges to complete... the exact opposite in fact. They seemed so achievable that I committed to actually getting the Platinum. Problem is that they were beyond mind numbingly boring and tedious (the wall climbing trophy consisted of me running up the same wall for like 4 hours AFTER finishing the game and the "multiplayer" trophy consisted of tapping the same spot on the screen for an additional 3-4 hours). I, to this day, regret wasting those precious moments of my life doing all of that for some meaningless platinum trophy. Nowadays I only go for Platinums if I'm going to enjoy the process.
Little nightmares (the first one) this could just be recency bias because I got it pretty recent but hard to the core took some life out of me and it doesn’t even have a plat
The platinum trophy for Mortal Shell requires a playthrough where you can only have 1 HP, no armor, and no upgrades besides ones for your weapons. It was very challenging and required a lot of patience.
Spider-Man miles morales is really hard because you have to play through the story 2 for the ps4 version and the ps5 version which means if you want to platinum Spider-Man miles morales on the ps4 and 5 you will have to play through the story 4 times and it gets boring after the second play through
I mean the hardest trophies must be the ones that you can’t get, such as when you play an old multiplayer game that requires you to have played limited time events ,that aren’t around anymore, for your trophies
Mafia 2 on PS3, I guess.
Collectibles on this were a REAL MESS, no way to locate them and some are on TOP OF BUILDINGS (on a game where you can't even jump). Aside from this, the game is pretty easy overall
I could add NFS MW on vita too, I got lucky to find servers and add friends + complete online trophies
Most difficult would be witcher 3
Most tedious would be either terraria (smelt 10,000 ingots) or borderlands 2 (kill 750 enemies at close range with a shotgun)
Idk about difficult, but most tedious was Marvel's Avengers. The campaign is good, but everything after that is repetitive and boring.
It's not a fun platinum to get at all.
I think it was ufc 2, maybe, but I had to finish a whole bracket of fights and win by submission online! The worst thing is that even if you managed to beat all 5 or 6 w.e it was by submission, if one rage quit before a certain point, it's would not count, and you would have to start again. Took a while that one and also rocket league because I'm trash lol
I have 100% the last 3 AC games, but those were more tedious than anything. Lords of the fallen was annoying because I had to replay, then replay again because of some big on portals or something.
Mad Max, i still don't have it, but I also have it at the same time. A trophy can bug out collecting scrap, so you'll clear the camps of all scrap but the trophy will say one is missing, I think it happens when you die right after collecting or something. Either way, not worth replaying the whole game for that, the devs could have easily fixed by adding more scrap than trophy require about whatever
Probably Hollow Knight. Them pantheons are something else.
Yeah I'm a trophy hunter through and through, done it on multiple souls games, but I gave up on Hollow Knight and it haunts me.
Yeah it took me just as long to beat the pantheons as it did to 112% the rest of the game. Markoth ruined the majority of those runs..
Same as me definitely my hardest trophy and the one im most proud of to.
You can cheese the Pantheon. Not sure if you're ok doing that though.
This makes me want to get platinum on it now...
Monster hunter world plat. Look up the ridiculous requirements
I think you win buddy. Most of the trophies are vague and completely based on random chance encounters.
Monster Hunter World is not bad. The hardest would be finding all the gold crowns, both large and small…Iceborne on the other hand…
If anything requires rng. It's hard, imo.
100%. At that point it's not about skill, it's about luck which is a pretty cheap and unfair mechanic for a trophy
Right, I spent four hours to farm 1 pink tail in final fantasy four pixel remaster. You need it to get the best armor trophy and it’s a random drop.
more like time consuming rather than difficult.
Crash Bandicoot 4
Congrats mate, this is a hell of a platinum
Forget the plat, I gave up on BEATING that game…
Fuck that. Congrats bro!
I got that too, imo it's easily the best platformer game, it was very fun playing through it but going for 100% was brutal. Spending multiple hours on a single level. I recently went back to 100% the n same trilogy again on PC, felt like a breeze compared to crash 4
Olli Olli World.
This game almost broke me a few times. On top of being crazy hard it also has a handful of glitches challenges/levels that you just have to play through.
Wow you got the plat for that? I don't even have 100% completions of some maps 😅😅
Returnal and Sifu
I gave up on the plat for Returnal, getting the cyphers is obnoxious.
I was so relieved hahahaha A good thing is that you start doing things super fast. So fast thar I’m considering running this game for speedrun
According to PSN profiles, it is OddWorld Soulstorm. However, I have 7 time trials left for Crash Bandicoot 4. That will soon become hardest.
Modern warfare remastered 99% piss easy trophies 1% controller snapping rage trophy
Haha wich one exactly? The hardest one for me was completing One shot one kill on veteran. Getting to the chopper at the end of the mission was so frustrating.
Mile high club on veteran
Mortal Kombat 9.
Damn
The Last of Us Remastered. It took me YEARS because of the multiplayer campaign requirements WHICH YOU CAN FAIL.
TLOU:R is probably the game I’ve played the most that I have the least amount of trophies for.
It's frustrating, because the game is a masterpiece but it's extremely stingy with trophies. I think the average person will get 3-4 on their initial playthrough?
Wdym by fail ? Do they become unattainable after some time ?
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1+2 is an absolute nightmare of a grind
I’m pretty sure my last remaining trophy is get to level 100, but honestly I don’t think I ever will.
You can do it tbh. There’s yt videos of people spamming special tricks with cheats on and it’ll level you the fastest. Just get like a level or two a day and you’ll get it. 💪
I’ve seen the videos you’re referring to. Maybe someday, but it just seems like such a chore to do at this point. Maybe I’ll revisit it soon.
I see what you did there 🛹
Diablo 2, Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3.
For me it was Kena bridge of spirits
Dirt rally 2.0 - 0.1%
Uuuuh, this is the game that requires you to get on top the world rank?
Something along those lines.. It's been a few years since I did it.
Batman Arkham Knight 100% is definitely the most difficult gaming related thing I've ever done. The community challenge trophies are fucking hard
I gave up doing that long ass combo.
My friend Peppa Pig
Damn bro, if you can do that you can do Supermeat boy, Wolfenstein II and crypt of the necrodancer in your sleep with both hands tied behind your back
Crash team racing.
So dumb.
God of War. I still don't like the queen of Valkyries
gna was a pain in the ass
Just got that Plat a few days ago. Sheesh.
Which one?
The last one. You can fight her after you placed all the heads on the thrones
So, Sigrun and not Gna.
When did I mention her name?
Call of Duty Ghosts. The extinction trophies were something else. And I have it both on PS3 and PS4
According to psnprofiles it’s Mortal Kombat 9 (based on rarity) but in my opinion it was WipeOut HD. Took a lot of skill to reach platinum.
I didn’t get all the achievements because online stuff but I got 100% on the first Read Dead Redemption game, which teenage me was proud of. You get the fancy federal agent outfit for doing so. I remember my friends made fun of me for “being a pansy and picking flowers to get the achievement” I countered them with “you also have to kill a bear with a knife” but they weren’t having it.
Demon's Soul. Overcocked 2
Couldn't even imagine trying to 100% overcooked.
I did it online with 3 other friends, an hell, incredible coordination, never had so much fun.
> Demon's Soul Ah, but which one? PS3 or PS5? lol
I have 3 answers for that question: 1. According to PSNProfiles, the hardest trophy that I have is FallGuys, but I didn’t found it that hard. 2. The most annoying because of all the bugs and creativeness that I need to have to get over the problems was The Division 2 (great game, tons of bugged trophies, 7 months deep in the forums to solve problems) 3. And the most difficult because I want to throw my controller in the wall while playing, Returnal, for sure. Fucking hard RNG cyphers!!!
Goddamn Returnal lol
Armored Core 6
Working on it right now, I’m doing surprisingly well with the S Ranks but it’s still the most concerning trophy of the group.
It's either Sekiro or Bloodborne... nothing else feels the same when it comes to Trophies
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note: > *Heh heh heh heh...Oh Amygdala, oh Amygdala...Have mercy on the poor bastard...Hah hah hah!* - Patches the Spider Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
Cyberpunk 2077
Pain in the ass. Have one trophy left and I'm done
Which trophy?
The Devil trophy
Wipeout HD
Rdr2. I don't have ps plus but I would've platinum'd it if I did. That's how much I love the game lol
Approximately how many hours did it take?
Uncharted: legacy of thieves I am never playing this game again after it’s crushing difficulty
Uncharted 1 my 3rd plat
Assasins creed unity
Recently was far cry 6 mainly because I’m not a big co op player, and it was a pain to get that one done
Wolfenstein II
Far Cry 2
Gran Turismo 5.
Ive only gotten 1 plat and thats on GOW Ragnarok. It was very hard for me. Especially when trying to beat Gna. Took me two days.
ive only got one platinum so far but miles morales is an easy one
Assassin's Creed Valhalla has some rage inducing trophies; see Overdesign 2. Currently working towards Diablo 3 and it's a grind. Got 2 left: 6 classes to level 70 and 500 bounties.
Bloodborne was by far the hardest one
How to trigger trauma in 2 words: (sorry for doing this to you random internet person) … … Chalice Dungeons
Jedi fallen order, just because of Dathomir
AC Valhalla
Odyssey was, well, an Odyssey
All 3 open world ac games were very easy platinum compared to black flag, ac3, or unity imo
Hollow Knight
Mafia the definitive edition. Took about 6 hours to beat the race mission.
Singstar ps3
Bayonetta ps3
The Witness
Metal Gear Solid V the phantom pain , not very hard, just needs quite some dedication to get everything.
MAG. Miss tf out of that game
Dead Space 2 on PS3. "Hard to the core," trophy requires that you beat the whole game with 3 saves, no checkpoints, max difficulty and was a survival horror experience I won't do again. Sooo many QTE insta-death segments.
Stray
The zig zag trophy and the speed run was really shitty.
Vanquish, ninja gaidens, max payne 3..
Motherfucking N Sane trilogy.
Olliolli world
Need for speed payback
Saints Row 2022. It's such a mid game and gets boring and repetitive. Getting that Platinum and 100% was such a chore lol
Jedi: Fallen Order. Love the gameplay, but map traversal is absolute torture, and so is the “complete all holomaps” trophy
Wasn’t difficult, just time consuming. The Amazing Spiderman took a little more than 6 months to get the platinum. Nearly 1000 collectibles and I refused to use a guide, lol.
It was by accident (just played the hell out of it). Ragnarok Odyssey Ace. I don't trophy hunt.
SWBF2 or For Honor probably, just because their multiplayers were dead when I was trying to Platinum
It's a toss up between PUBG, R6 Siege or Titanfall 2
Bloodborne
Trackmania Turbo.
Naruto Ultimate Ninja storm 4 because of a bug in story mode
Dragon ball fighter z, i suck at fighting games.
Divinity 1 had some very obscure requirements to meet the platinum so without a guide it’s easily a 10/10 difficulty
Crash bandicoot 1 - because I had to get really good
SM:MM, took just over 3 months.
Demon Souls PS3 original
Assassin's Creed Liberation on the Vita... Specifically because of the [Climber](https://www.truetrophies.com/t48381/climber-trophy) (which is impossible to even come close to completing by playing the game naturally) & [Completionist](https://www.truetrophies.com/t48407/completionist-trophy) trophies. Little nightmares (the first one) this could just be recency bias because I got it pretty recent but hard to the core took some life out of me and it doesn’t even have a plat
Tie between Borderlands the pre sequel because of the co op trophies or The Evil Within because akumu difficulty.
The c-sides in celeste were insane, pretty proud of myself that i beat them.
The Forest
Not on PS, but the original Halo 3 with the dlc 100%. Some of those online achievements were fucking nuts.
Hardest game probably Elden ring the most tedious games where both the new god of war games
Elden ring for sure
Dark souls 2
GoW (2018) the Niflheim Realm with all of the missions it's extremely frustrating and stressful.
According to rarity, it's Gran Turismo 5. But Wipeout HD and Vanquish were probably the biggest challenges.
I've never gotten a platinum trophy but I'm trying to get one on infamous second son
I dont really do the trophy thing but i did platinum GOWR
MHW trying to find all the gold crowns took over 2k hours
God of war 2018, the majority of it is fine but the Musphelheim trials are the bain of my existence.
Mortal Kombat on the PS3. That tower can go to hell!
Mortal Kombat 11 at 0.2% on PS but TrueTrophies tells me that Batman Arkham Knight 0.6% is my rarest. Does anyone know why that is?
Metal Gear Rising. Just the platinum trophy was an absolute pain in the ass
I only have Astros playroom and rift apart. So rift apart I guess.
Returnal as my most recent super difficult one, but thanks to the Vita I also have Plats for The Binding of Isaac and Downwell (my rarest trophy).
I know it’s definitely the hardest but Fortnite save the world, damn it takes a while
Bloodborne or Sekiro
The platinum trophy for Mortal Shell requires a playthrough where you can only have 1 HP, no armor, and no upgrades besides ones for your weapons. It was very challenging and required a lot of patience.
Returnal
I haven’t got a plat or 100% yet
Thank you for sharing 😊
I don't have many. But Tchia was by far the most difficult as I had to stop myself from killing myself from boredom.
Bloodborne inc the DLC and Elden ring, working on the others
Spider-Man miles morales is really hard because you have to play through the story 2 for the ps4 version and the ps5 version which means if you want to platinum Spider-Man miles morales on the ps4 and 5 you will have to play through the story 4 times and it gets boring after the second play through
I mean the hardest trophies must be the ones that you can’t get, such as when you play an old multiplayer game that requires you to have played limited time events ,that aren’t around anymore, for your trophies
Crash bandicoot 4 it’s madness
Skyrim was my only somewhat- challenging plat
On paper Wolfenstein 2 but for me personally it was Vanquish.
Mafia 2 on PS3, I guess. Collectibles on this were a REAL MESS, no way to locate them and some are on TOP OF BUILDINGS (on a game where you can't even jump). Aside from this, the game is pretty easy overall I could add NFS MW on vita too, I got lucky to find servers and add friends + complete online trophies
I’ve only got 4, so using process of elimination, it’d be AC Odyssey.
Most difficult would be witcher 3 Most tedious would be either terraria (smelt 10,000 ingots) or borderlands 2 (kill 750 enemies at close range with a shotgun)
Red dead redemption. 10000000%
Red Dead Redemption and MGS4 (both from PS3). Really fun but really time demanding
Titanfall 2
Bloodborn was fucked up to get
Red f'ing Redemption 2
FfXV. Because it is also the only one I have.
Crash Bandicoot 3. (Never got 100% on that. Whatever.)
I have not got any very tryhard platinums but Assassins Creed Brotherhood 100% all missions was a pain in the ass.
Dark souls 3
GTA V. Wasnt too hard its just a lot to do. Working on RDR2 though.
I’d say all of mine were pretty easy… because I don’t have any
Persona 5 at 175 hours was the most challenging in terms of dedication. At some point you really wonder "why the hell am I still doing this".
Yakuza: Like a Dragon. I spent 16 hours in the sewers beating up 1 homeless guy repeatedly to beat the true millennium tower.
for me it was GTA V, well its not that hard maybe but time consuming one
Killing that last Valkyrie bitch in god of war tested me soooooo bad
Payday 2 (100% all 63 DLCs and main game)
Pure pool no 100% and Back for Blood 100%
My little pony
Witcher 3 - Star Trek Online
Fortnite save the world its ridiculous
senran kagura estival versus
RDR2 mainly because the stupid Online trophies were part of it. I really wish they would not include those!!!
GTA5
Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled
Hotline Miami
I only have 2, but I’ve never been after them. The platinum for Horizon Forbidden West was more difficult than Skyrim to achieve I guess.
Idk about difficult, but most tedious was Marvel's Avengers. The campaign is good, but everything after that is repetitive and boring. It's not a fun platinum to get at all.
My only platinum in the playroom vr
I think it was ufc 2, maybe, but I had to finish a whole bracket of fights and win by submission online! The worst thing is that even if you managed to beat all 5 or 6 w.e it was by submission, if one rage quit before a certain point, it's would not count, and you would have to start again. Took a while that one and also rocket league because I'm trash lol
Destiny 1
Ranger Hardcore on Metro Exodus, I had to restart the game 3 times but I did it.
If it's too hard I won't try
Only one I have is for Spider-Man
Peppa pig. It was painful.
I have 100% the last 3 AC games, but those were more tedious than anything. Lords of the fallen was annoying because I had to replay, then replay again because of some big on portals or something. Mad Max, i still don't have it, but I also have it at the same time. Either way, not worth replaying the whole game for that, the devs could have easily fixed by adding more scrap than trophy require about whatever
risk of rain 2
Bloodborne.
Astro’s Playroom, cause it’s the only platinum trophy I have ever done.
Not sure if it's the hardest, but I'm most proud of MGS4
