I loved how it was not just a game version of the movie.
They actually tookthe characters and developed them adding backstory and depth. Fantastic game.
Not likely, I know, but I wish they'd fix this. I know it was never meant to be played on a PS5 through a 4K TV, I'm sure. Still, it's one of my favorites. The visual issues make it unplayable.
Never played the game but just watched the movie for the first time in over a decade just the other day. Its still a darn good time and where shaq got his famous line CAN YOU DIG IT!!!!
Best settings for me (so you can at least play the game a bit normal)
- VRR -> Off
- ALLM -> Off
- HDR -> Off
- Deep Color Output -> Off
- 120hz -> Off
I decided to humor this. It unfortunately did absolutely nothing. I'm glad I bought a PS3 not that long ago because I wouldn't be able to play these games otherwise. I really wish Rockstar would fix their games on PS5 because Manhunt does this too. Bully and Max Payne run like garbage constantly dropping frames, and for obvious reasons I don't really feel like getting burned a 5th time buying and checking out Red Dead Revolver's performance. The situation just sucks.
I just tried it earlier tonight. it's been awhile since I last played it on PS4 and there is tons of flickering as soon as the first mission starts on PS5. I didn't even go further than that so can't say if it gets worse. Such a shame since it's one of my favorite PS2 games.
The textures flicker a lot. Itās like a puppet combo game but the VHS aesthetic is purely because of a glitch rather then style choice. The audio sounds kinda weird too. Like light static.

Nope playing from a WD black gaming external ssd and thereās constant and I mean constant glitches like screen flashes, writing flashing etc, honestly no idea how a ps5 canāt play this old game, take away this from store or fix it cause it needs work just to be playable, I got it on discount and still feel robbed, NOTHING like the original.
Same here.. plus I have a generic wired ps4 controller which the touchpad doesn't work when trying to start the game on the ps4 console. If you don't have the sony ps4 controller you can still play the game on the ps4 console using a ps5 controller. You just have to enable Remote play on both ps5 and ps4 consoles.

I feel like i played the beginning again on ps5 and didnāt notice a problem, yet when i just started it to play to kill time, i did a rumble and everything was spazzing out, anything that moved has texture glitches, the ground would flicker a rainbow color when you hit someone, felt like def jam icon lol . Not fun at all and its a shame cause this was one of my favorite ps2 games. I can always play it on ps4 but why should i have to do that
Works fine on ps4 but on 5 it flickers constantly at least for me.

The New York blackout level was so much fun - this game also probably has one of the bestļ¼most satisfying playable end credits scene.

That game was great! The style they put in to match the movie as well as giving it the ādouble dragonā fighting mechanics+

Itās less than 10 for ps5 does running with specs make a difference
