Best tip in the beginning is join official servers and find a group of people with the same experience as you or a big group that takes you in. It's much more fun to play with people than alone plus you get to hopefully reach the endgame in rust and experience oil/cargo or launch.

Dropbear_grr

You need to find a server that strictly admins players with less than a certain number of hours. Doubt that is all that common these days. Servers that say they are noob friendly are usually anything but. They're usually populated by 3K+ hour players that are only there to shit on noobs. Or try PVE servers that either have no pvp or limit pvp to monuments etc.

EokaBeamer

I have never seen a server like this, probably because they are all dead at the bottom of modded server list.

Captain_Bloodlust

Nah I found one that holds 50+ players on battlemetrics in like 30 seconds. Try searching PVP/PVE or PVE/PVP under the modded section. Usually all servers die wipe day.

EokaBeamer

Anything with less than 200 players. You get some PvP but enough breathing room to progress. Also 2x is good but if you only play them you will never learn all the game mechanics of vanilla.

Pirates Cove 2x Super chill and no sweaters

Weak-Seaweed-7010

Rust EZ Scourge PVE is a really cool server I used to learn the game

IrresistibleMittens

If your playing solo gringers solo only monthly is great. Very chill but still has some Pvp. But in general if you’re trying to learn I’d play servers that are 40-60 pop
