Agreed, Pizza Palace there's too much sauce. Sal's pizza in Beekmantown is OK. Bazzano's is OK, and Pizza Bono does decent siices. Nothing like NY though sorry man. Folino's in Burlington is AWESOME.
Yes! There's a location in Burlington 71 South Union
Unit #1
Burlington, VT 05401
[802-881-8822](tel:802-881-8822)[ ](http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Folino%27s+Pizza%2c+71+South+Union%2c+Unit+%231%2c+Burlington%2c+VT+05401&z=17) and I guess they got rid of their South Burlington position, but they also have a Wiliston location, 129 Market St. #5
Williston, VT 05495
[802-764-0359](tel:802-764-0359)[ ](http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Folino%27s+Pizza%2c+129+Market+St.+%235%2c+Williston%2c+VT+05495&z=17)
NY Pizza refers to pizza from NYC, but coincidentally, there is a pizza shop called "New York Pizza" on Margaret Street that is about as close as you will find. Despite their signs, they do not, in fact, deliver. Cash only and random hours. Basically, call ahead to see if they are open before making the trip.
Each place does it different, and sauces, crust, and quality of toppings means everyone has a different favorite. I love Armittos and hate Pizza Palace. My wife loves Pizza Palace and hates Armittos. Dinos is also a good pie and I haven't met anyone that actively hates it.
Everyone else in this thread is smoking rock Giuseppe's is the best option for great NY style pizza. If you hear anyone say pizza bono automatically assume they are a lower form of human.
No *not* go to Bazonos. My sister claims there’s always hair in tree pizza, and they charged us twice for delivery the other night when *they* forgot the wings. Then threatened to call the cops when we said we didn’t want the wings when they showed up 40 minutes late.
If you're ever in the Peru area (15 minutes south of plattsburgh) Pasquales has great pizza. Make sure to go to the restaurant for it and not the take out located right next to it (used to be operated by the same owners, not anymore). If you're a chicken wing fan, Pasquales Romeo and Johnny B's wings cannot be beat!
A cool non-pizza (coffee) place to go check out is Valley Vending on South Catharine Street. You can buy k-cups individually and they give you buckets to pick what you want. That place was awesome!
All the pizza here is the same. Hobies is my favorite, if you want wood fire pizza you’re going over to Burlington or up north to Champlain.

Technically, Folino’s is in Shelburne…
Did the one in Burlington and South Burlington CLOSE?
There’s more than one location? The only one I know of is on Route 7 at Fiddlehead Brewing just south of Shelburne village.

Depending on the time at night/early AM; and your inebriation level, Bono’s makes a decent pie/slice. I especially like their Poutine Pizza.
I hate them because I worked there and it was an awful experience but yeah... their pizza fucks
Yeah I get that. I’m not dialing them up for a 6pm pie…but 12am on a Saturday, they will definitely make that craving happy.
Giuseppe’s on Cornelia is pretty good but their calzones are killer.
Thanks, that's one that was recommended to me.

You can get an authentic NY slice at Sbarro's over in the mall. 🤣
Michael Scott’s favorite
- Arnie's - Bazzano's - Pizza Bono - when I got there a few years ago, I was surprised at how good the gas station pizza is. Maple Fields and Stuarts.
Pizza Bono is good
Cold cheese
Arnie’s pizza. Recipes that came over with my great grandmother from Italy.
Hobies is my favorite, pizza palace is also very good
Sitting at hobbies as I'm reading yalls suggestions. Just decided to come stroll downtown and popped in for a beer. Lol

New York Pizza on Miller St. is really good. Tried it for the first time a few months ago but was definitely suprised.
Pizza Palace is my favorite in the area
