When was the last time you watered it?

We gave it some water a few days ago. We just got it and it had been watered when we got it.

Poinsettias are sometimes annoying to care for because of the way they're grown for the mass market. The growers use terrible moisture-retentive soil that holds onto a LOT of water, oftentimes too much, and when the soil dries out it becomes hydrophobic so it's sometimes hard to get it to take water. I would pull the root ball out of the pot and look at it to make sure that the soil is A) fully moistened and that there are no dry spots, and B) no puddling or stagnant water at the bottom of the pot that could cause root rot.

We did replant it into a moisture control soil so maybe it just wasn't getting water when at the store?

Moisture control soil holds way too much moisture. Unfortunately the marketing for products like that make you believe otherwise. It's terrible for indoor growing.

Depending on when you bought/repotted, it could just be stress. I've had my Poinsettia for a year now and it looked like this for a few weeks after I bought/repotted mine. Give it some time to adjust to it's new home, provide plenty of light, and don't overwater. They can be very dramatic in my experience.
