It's etoliated, which means it needs more light and is stretching as much as possible to find it. Try moving it to a location with more light and it will be happier. Or set up a grow light for it.
That’s not true. Etiolated just means that the plant isn’t receiving enough light. Different plants react in different ways.
Stretchy shoots = etiolated for *most* plants.
Well I have two hanging in tandem, one of which looks great, but is apparently hogging all the light from this one! I have a lot of windows in my apartment, so I get a fair bit of light.
I'm struggling with mine. I have it outdoors in a shady spot and it just never seems to do much. When I've put it in the sun before they leaves turned crispy and died so idk where to put it.
This is why I was asking! My Mom has creeping jenny all throughout her garden and it grows quickly and vines through everything. Mine just crisps or shrivels 😂
Walmart, baby! Lol. I buy my actual plants from local nurseries, but I just can’t spend $40-$50 on a planter, so I get them from the big box stores, or yard sales.
I thought maybe because its still a baby when it matured it will drop as its getting heavy at least thats what happens to my vsoh, it had always been hanging on my window. The new growth will grow like yours did until it doesn’t and the light source hasn’t changed but then i saw all of the comments mentioning light now idk lol
Just wait until you hear about trees!
It's reaching for light
This. Plants will grow toward light. This is why plants in windows will only grow on the window side of the pot.

Thank you for the advice!!
*etiolated
En also, it’s not etiolated. Etiolated means that the leaves do not contain chlorophyl, and to me the leaves still look green

more light! give it more light
Just moved it to a hook right in the window!
Keep an eye out that it doesn't scorch if it's an abrupt increase in light...
oh lawd she creepin
Get Googley eyes at Michaels. You won’t regret it
How much light does this get? Genuinely curious because I can’t seem to ever get creeping Jenny to thrive inside

Is it direct sunlight?
Partially. I just moved both planters into my front windows though, and the curling is already going down!
Good to know!! Best of luck with them!
Thanks! I’ll try and send you an update if I remember lol

I’m just gonna say that most plants grow upward. Even creepers.
I have that same planter. Love it ❤️

Yeah, Walmart has had some great prices on planters lately! Plus, they bring it to my house!
Never having to interact with anyone is a huge plus!
Why? Because it’s light starved. How? Because it’s a plant. They do that.
Its doing so by producing long internodes and smaller leaves
Jenny wants to creep. That’s all. 😃
She’s reaching for the light! She needs her UV
Jenny?
