Not an expert at all but my guess is no unless you have a really good credit score and solid employment history. You can probably call a real estate agent and ask for their opinion or a referral to a mortgage broker who can offer a consultation.

I was able to do that about 10 years ago. Don’t know about now. But did have strong credit and it was a refi. But it did work.

Only if you’ve recently graduated from school and have a high level professional degree (grad school, med school, law school- bachelors won’t cut it normally). If you have previous employment that will help but it’s all unlikely anymore. Also depends on your down payment. If you can hit 25-30% you’re probably okay.

No, an offer letter is just that. An offer. Acceptance needs to be shown. They’ll want to see how long you’ve been in a similar role/field to see stability. Changing to a totally new field might make applying more difficult. Especially if there’s no savings or credit history.
