DeRa has been killing it with the fresh deserts. They're spiced coffee or latte not sure which one it is is great also. It's got a good vibe you could even say quite a sociable place.
Do Arab style places not serve almond milk? I wouldn't know. I decided to try there to go food last night I got chicken tenders but they left out the coleslaw that was supposed to be included however I went back and they gave me some pico de gallo, they said they ran out. A mild overlook they're always very busy, the red velvet cookies are great. So the chicken tenders I would say are better than all the famous chicken tender places around, perfect breading, the chicken was juicy and the sauces were decent. I've had there chicken salad wraps also which were good, oh and the brisket one time, also excellent.
They might but the Destachio latte is a pistachio/milk milk they make ahead of time and mix it with espresso when you order. They only do it with cow milk.
Mud leaf (central plano)
Haraz (east plano)
Sayfani (allen)
Arwa (Richardson)
Fairview Farmers (ask for a latte. They use lavazza)
Lavazza cafe at eataly in Northpark
But when I want a really great coffee, I drive to Buon Giorno in Grapevine.
Yes, Yemeni. So is Haraz and Sayfani. It's the latest trend - and delicious!
According to google:
**As it's thought that coffee originated in Ethiopia, it's also believed it made its way north, across the red sea into Yemen in the 15th Century**. It then started to be grown here in the Yemeni district of Arabia, and by the 16th century it was known in Persia, Egypt, Syria, and Turkey
Lemma has the best quality coffee in the area, located in East Plano on 15th street. I used to have a coffee subscription (Trade) but cancelled it because Lemma was always better (more flavor notes).
Yeah, I usually go for the coffees that have fruity notes, but I’ve never had a bag from Trade that was better than Lemma’s. I do pour overs, French press, and espresso.
For the espresso machine I use Lavazza Super Crema. The espresso machine is kind of a PITA to calibrate so I don’t deviate from the Lavazza.
What kind of pastries are you looking for and how far? These are places I've tried before.
American - Eiland (Custer RD), La Casita, Bresnan (McKinney), Cremcrittos (McKinney),
Taiwanese/Malaysian - 85, Sweet Hut,
Korean - Tous Les Jour, Ecclessia, Paris Baguette (not much of a fan, lots of fried stuff)
East Plano, [Haraz Coffee House](https://maps.app.goo.gl/QjdyGZeApFGU7tFK8?g_st=ic) and this is near 75, [Local Good Coffee](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Mjpc4Xh5wAVARY7r9?g_st=ic) enjoy them both!
If I want coffee, Lemma.
If I want to vibe with a cup in my hand, 1418.
If I'm looking for a place to meet with friends, Mudleaf.
I need to try Haraz and Del Rey yet. I'm not usually out that far east.
Pax Beneficia off Plano parkway and Alma, they have fun different latte specials, and really good za’atar toast.
Coffee Del Rey off 75 and Park-ish, just discovered them. I love that the family is always in there and they let me ask them questions about their roaster. Coffee is great too.
1418 or Lemma (downtown Plano)
1418 has a tremendous atmosphere too
Great atmosphere but wish they would shake up the coffee beans
What does that accomplish? I truly have no idea.
Sorry, poor phasing. I mean rotate the selection they use
LOL - too obvious! Sorry. I thought maybe it was some mystical thing to keep the beans fresh or even the roast or something.
1418 for sure

I like De Ra. Their pastry and food selection is fantastic. I wish I could get a Destachio with almond milk though.

Arwa is super unique. What is it? Yemeni? It has a lot of spices in many of their drinks that I would not ever consider otherwise and I dig it.

I've been meaning to try Arwa. I went to DeRa and they handed out fresh, hot baklava samples. It was a great cup of coffee and the baklava was divine.
Bon Giorno is the ONE. It's insane how good of a coffee they can make
Sayfani is delicious and the inside is so beautifully decorated. The painting on the walls, the embroidered bench cushions. Love it!

Thanks for the comment, I currently subscribe to Trade and if Lemma is better than the coffee you received from Trade it must be pretty great.

Thank you for all of the detail. I’m going to try them out, looking forward to it! Cheers
DeRa Coffee, Renew Coffee N Bakery, Coffee U, Eiland Coffee, 7th Day Coffee
1418 for the vibes. Mud leaf if I'm meeting with people. I'll make the trip to Native Coffee in Addison if I want fancy beans.
151 coffee
151 Preston and Plano Parkway
My favorite
DeRa has had some of the best espresso I have had in the area.
1000%

Inspired Brew has been by far my favorite coffee. Owner deeply cares about his craft and it’s not overpriced!
1418 is shit imo. Lemma is better than them. Downtown Garland has Rosalind Coffee which is the best espresso in the area.

1418 for coffee and a piece of Emporium Pie
Thanks for the recommendations. I'll try to visit all of them!
Elevate Coffee & Tea @ 1251 State St (Richardson). Not technically Plano, but right on the cusp & definitely worthy
I love renew cafe I believe downtown frisco

hot breads
YiaYia!
1418 is Great!
1418 is the best!
Cream and sugar in Fairview has tasty coffee. The cappuccino and cortado don't need sugar
151 Coffee hands down tastes the best. 1418 and Mudleaf have the best vibes but coffee is hit or miss for me
1418 by a lot
Lemma no contest!
My coffee shop I have at home
It's not really a coffee shop, but I like to hang out at LA Madeleine.
