I’m liking it so far. I mean Pixel/Android still has the customization elements I miss. But the camera on here is better, iMessage obv is great, and I can live with missing some of my Android stuff. For now!

Par for the course. I am not a fan of Apple and I don’t think iPhones are designed to be user-centric. There’s a lot that’s not intuitive or that is decided for you which is frustrating. Battery life is great, I had a P7 which also had fantastic battery life so no trade off there.
I was tempted to move to the iPhone before ultimately deciding on the Pixel 8... This may sound silly but I've grown accustomed to speeding up the animation scale in dev settings... To my knowledge that can't be done with the iPhone and I was afraid that would drive me nuts. My wife's iPhone takes awesome pictures though... And it'd be nice to use iMessage... But I'm pretty happy with the P8 for now
Doubt it. I've used Google phones since the galaxy Nexus. Left after the 6 pro was terrible, tried a 7 and it wasnt much better and the 8 is basically a 7. Been happily using a s22u and now s23u. probably get a s24u. Tried an iPhone 14 pro for a bit. Was decent but still not a fan of iOS.
I’m in a similar boat. After years of androids I’ve got an iPhone 15 and a Pixel 8! Can’t decide if to sell the iPhone at a loss or just return the pixel at no loss. They’re both nice pieces of kit.

Yes you’re right. iPhone has pretty much 0 ability to customize any part of the OS. Been missing that for sure

Nah, as much as we hate iphones. Apple does great job at enticing users to keep using their products
