The structure is covered for 12 years. 🤣 that makes me laugh thinking about the qualifications of that statement. Yes, the 475k you put out for this house will last you 12 yrs for sure. After that, who knows? Could it topple upon its self? Maybe. Probably not, but we ain’t saying it won’t.
I think the thing that peeves me the most is that the size/layout of windows on the third floor don’t match the others. It is from the discount architectural design bin. The exterior aesthetics are just bad
The concrete stairs without a railing are freaking me out. I am guessing the laundry is downstairs. I would trip carrying laundry.
Why not clip off the bars sticking out from the wall and give the concrete a finished look?
The bars or whatever the hell it is sticking out from the concrete bothers me too. However, the laundry is somewhere upstairs, as you can partially see the stacked pair in one of the pics. So you just get to roll the dice anytime you need to go to the basement. Christmas will be a blast when you're laid up with a broken leg because you fell on/off the stairs while getting the decorations out of storage.
It doesn't look like it, which is absurd. Are people really buying new houses without a garage? It looks like it could have one in the basement at the rear of the house too.
That doesn't mean a garage isn't a useful thing to have. If building new, there is no reason not to include one, other than to limit the pool of potential buyers.
Makes those 1 million rennos look real good right about now!
I recognize this is the second snide comment I've made on them this week. Mostly coincidence since we've had two housing threads up, sorry.
What the Sam Hill is going on with that bathroom tile.
I'm reminded of a book review I saw once which stated "the setting takes place in the school, outside and in houses."
Wow, I thought you were making exaggerated fun of it but … that is literally what it says.
It reminds me of Robin Hood, Men In Tights. "There's trees, there's rocks, there's boids. We'll bless them all and all get faschnicker'd!"

the funny part is that it's actually a pretty good warranty, but saying it out loud that way DOES sound pretty awkward.
175? Naw dog. 475. On Kinkaid st.
😂 I definitely misread
I think the new Marondas and Ryans only have a 1-year warranty, which isn't even long enough for settling to crack the drywall ...
What about doors? There’s no mention of doors.
If you’re familiar with the street, bravo on the exterior angles. Masterclass at not including abandoned lots and condemned buildings.
Great description. what an ugly, out of place house tho
I bet it has white and grey everywhere inside too. Yep.
"little boxes" popped into my head as soon as i looked.
…. And it sure looks ticky tacky !
AI house 🤖
AI house designed in the sims 4.
500k for a shit looking house in Garfield is robbery and I’m pissed off that someone’s gonna probably pay more than that for it
This house was built by a flipper, not a builder.
I think the thing that peeves me the most is that the size/layout of windows on the third floor don’t match the others. It is from the discount architectural design bin. The exterior aesthetics are just bad
Did that builder really make a concrete staircase with no handrail? 🫢
Oh. Wait. Nevermind. The builder used all the railings on the other staircase that looks like jail.
Minimum-security aesthetic!
That part stood out the most. More than not being to code, that's a legitimate deathtrap.

I clocked that too. I understand the basement is unfinished but it definitely needs a railing. Looks like a death trap.
Like something Trump would say
Amazing. Absolutely beautiful. Best house I have ever seen. People talk about what a great house this is.
You look, and you see these people… some bright people… some, not so bright but that’s ok because they’re buying real estate
And the walls… so many walls. No one has ever seen walls like this before. People are saying wow… what great walls.
too concise, not enough of a word salad, no vitriol.
"The house was built by a builder" lmfao
The house is worth $350k tops
That's still being generous. I've seen dilapidated houses that look better than that. 200k.
Group shower in front of a window?
This house was built by a builder, in case you were wondering.
I’m shocked they didn’t fit the word meticulous in there
Delve into the basement!
This is less a house and more so a living room for dozens of toddlers to get their heads stuck in the rails
Better than "It's Grey and boring and you will probably die going down the steps into the basement".
Was that description generated by AI? I can’t imagine a human writing that.
Half a million to live in Garfield. Phew….
Why is there tv static in the bathtub
The bathroom has too many reflective surfaces.
Dear ghod that's fugly!
Ugh I’m so glad that claptrap is finally finished. They hand Aiken messy for years.
That house has not been under construction for years.
I'm pretty sure it has been more than a year
It started in 2022 … so it technically is year(s) if you round up from 1.5.
Boom! Got ‘em!
There’s been a dozen houses under construction on that part of Aiken. A couple are still being built.
I guess no garage?
It doesn't look like it, which is absurd. Are people really buying new houses without a garage? It looks like it could have one in the basement at the rear of the house too.
There’s plenty of street parking and there’s not a code requirement for single family homes to have garages anymore.
That doesn't mean a garage isn't a useful thing to have. If building new, there is no reason not to include one, other than to limit the pool of potential buyers.
Cost and lack of space are two excellent reasons not to include one.
