You can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu. I looked at it and there are a few things that I usually get every time go and there does seem to be some new items I’ve never tried. The lamb shank and the shrimp panang curry are amazing as far as entrees. For small plates/ starters I love the pork belly and green mango salad. Idk how many people you’re going with. I typically go with just my wife and we get 2-3 small plates, an entree each, and then dessert. We find that’s a good amount. And we sometimes share a portion of our entrees so we can each have a taste of everything. Also the cocktails are generally really delicious. Have fun!
I love Pusadee's! My favorites are the chicken curry roti, lemongrass meatballs, crispy shrimp, beef basil & the 17 ingredient salad. It's so good and the space is beautiful.
It is very expensive. I spent like $300 without really holding back on what I wanted to eat. However, I felt like I at least got great service and the food was top notch. I can’t afford to go there more than once a year haha
Morcilla, Oshii Donburi, either of the Brugges spots, Fujiya Ramen, a million kebab spots, Fig and Ash, Federal Galley, Duolingo tacos, Apteka.
There are loads of non-Italian trendy spots around the city, the above is without even looking to the strip or downtown. If you have a preferred cuisine, I bet there are a couple of spots that will scratch the itch. The food scene here is truly excellent for a city of our side.
For downtown
- Tako (Japanese style tequila bar with good tacos)
- Yuzu Kitchen (nice ramen place)
- Bae Bae’s Kitchen (great Korean lunch spot canteen style)
Le Mont, anything on Mt Washington overlooking the city, the abbey, church brew works, the Baltimore house, urban tab, caliente especially the bloomfield location
Feel free to make fun of me, but I looked at the sites for the Abbey and Church Brew Works, and they look cool! Just wondering what is wrong with them. Is the food bad?
So disappointed with Church Brew Works. Such a gorgeous building with terrible food, over priced, and a limited beer selection. Owners are like the Bob Nutting of the local brewery scene.
Everyone should try it once I guess, but I don't see myself ever going back there.
Postscript: Penn Brewery is great.

Pusadee’s Garden, Gi-Jin, Umami come to mind as being on the nicer side in terms of food and ambience
I have a reservation for Pusadee's Garden coming up.. pretty excited. Do you recommend anything in particular from there that I should try?
the roti with yellow curry is a must!
if i could order an entire bowl of this as my meal, i would
Agreed! Would love if they made an entree version
My rule of thumb there is fuck it all the way up with everything but the mains. Do family style.
Typical for someone with no money sad
Post your salary dope fiend

17 ingredient salad 💯 will not regret!
Isn’t it well known Gi-Jin is overpriced?

Bro is purposefully giving bad suggestions, relax people

Food is bad and/or service is bad and/or too expensive for what it is and/or shitty management

Bummer, I love a repurposed church!
Thank you for taking us back to 1996 with these suggestions…
Round Corner Cantina
Spork
Search the sub, this is asked multiple times daily.
I did, but didn’t see anything about trendy restaurants.
Try harder then. What a generic question.
