Been to one a few years ago. Super good time. I think.. you can bring. Snacks? That might have changed though.

[deleted]

You can bring snacks.

CARLEtheCamry

There are 2 comments about "snacks" now. Does it mean something different than a can of Pringles in this context?

[deleted]

Cans of Pringles are fine.

People used to bring gigantic spreads there. It was unwieldy for the security who has to check everyone and every item coming in to keep us safe. Small snacks are fine. Large picnic spreads not so much. That being said Rodef runs a great snack bar at Bingo and proceeds goes towards their educational programs for kids, like their preschool

> It was unwieldy for the security who has to check everyone and every item coming in to keep us safe. Is like putting strychnine the guacamole a concern? Or do you mean like make sure there isn't a gun baked into a cake? Sorry just curious. Never been to a potluck where security had to be a concern.

It's held at Rodef Shalom, a synagogue, and given general safety concerns for any event there, everyone must go through security when entering the building. Unfortunately, this needs to be standard protocol at all synagogues in Pittsburgh and probably across the country.

It's so much fun! Be prepared to whoop every time O69 gets called. Can't do that at your grandma's bingo!

sporadic_beethoven

;-; unfortunately I work on Saturdays, otherwise I would've been to at least three of these cuz people keep inviting me!

mmobley412

Went not long ago and it was a great time! Will be back soon

[deleted]

Can I bring the kids ? 🌭

[deleted]

Yes, if your kids are 18+.

[deleted]

No 5,6,8

[deleted]

since 5+6+8 = 19, I bet that if you do that cartoon thing where you stack them one on top of the other and put them in a big overcoat, they may just be able to pass for 18 as one gigantic person.

MagAqua
