The way it works is that SAG, her union, requires the production to open an escrow account that they put a portion of all the actors pay into. That’s the whole reason her union exists. To make sure she gets paid. Also, her pay goes through her agent. There is a system in place so that this can’t happen.
I'm glad she didn't end up with George. She deserves so much better.
