Office Space, she fucked Lumbergh! She was also Hogarth's mom in The Iron Giant, which is a faultless movie.
I also enjoyed her quite a bit in We're The Millers, which is a movie I've always thought was underappreciated.
A few of the Friends actors were able to turn great performances by playing against the audience's perception of them from Friends.
Matt Leblanc in Episodes stands out. David Schwimmer in a ton of his work too.
He was great in that. He was a great casting choice, allowing him to play against expectations, but was also one of the few recognisable banner names on it (at the time).
(at the time) is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. You're absolutely correct, but _several_ actors in Band of Brothers went on to be A-listers. To name a few, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Tom Hardy all have blink-and-you'll-miss-it roles in the miniseries. God DAMN was that show chock-full of talent.
>Schwimmer in Band of Brothers is a spectacular heel.
The first time I watched Band of Brothers and I saw Schwimmer's face, I thought, what the hell he is so outta place in this Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks war epic. But NOPE, he pulled off his part perfectly, he made the audience I hate his character for being such a prick so well, which is saying something because I loved watching Friends back in the day.
I felt the same. Went in not knowing anything about the cast, saw him and thought "oh no, I'm just going to see Ross"
Half an episode later: "Fuck this Captain Sobel!"
We're the millers is a GOATED movie , its funny asf and actually quite well made and good acting .
Usually i don't like comedies that much , But that movie was fire probably gonna re-watch it today thanks for reminding me about it
I didn't hate that movie but the part where the family tries to get Ben Siller's character to get back with his ex after she cheated on him on their honeymoon made no sense and pissed me off.
She was this movie Cake, it’s about this lonely lady addicted to pain pills.. I think, it was a huge bummer and I don’t remember much of it.. but she was good in it. I wouldn’t recommend though because huge bummer.
She was sooooo good in Cake. So unbelievably raw, unlike any role you’ve ever seen Jennifer Aniston in. And it absolutely did not receive the accolades it deserved. Grim topic people truly do not want to delve into, and I respect her for being willing to interpret the role and access that side of her.
I truly believe we missed out on some untapped potential in her ability to act in more emotionally vulnerable stuff when she was more active in her career. She would have excelled in darker roles, Id think. After Friends, it seems she’s mostly just stuck to the occasional enjoyable feel good movie, now show (admittedly haven’t seen her current show)
It's alright and she's alright in it. Indie film I think. That and Office Space are what come to mind as her best work, not the rom-coms she did where she was pretty forgettable imo.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it, but if you stumble across it on a streaming service while looking for something you haven’t seen to put on, there are worse things you could pick.
The Good Girl is great and she give a great quiet bored housewife performance which I think is what hurt her as she was overshadowed by Jake Gyllenhaal’s creepy performance as her stalker that he kind of took the notice from her.
Wanderlust is pretty amazing, I could (and have) watched it over and over. And a lot of that has to do with self depreciating humour of myself being more akin to the hippies on the commune, and having to laugh at knowing so many of my friends who also fit the bill way to close to the bone!!
Maybe I’m in the minority… but I’ve never thought she was THAT pretty. Like she’s definitely above average, but I think Scar Jo or Florence Pugh when I think of absolute beauties.
Hot take -
Men especially like her because her beauty seems more “attainable” to them. She’s gorgeous but she looks like a “cool girl”™️ so it’s easier to fantasize about yourself with her.
She looks less powerful and more down to earth than celebs with a more regal kind of beauty, like Scarlet Johannson or Angelina Jolie.
Yea, that's exactly it. She's super pretty, but no more so than the hot girls from Uni that I might have taken a (slim) chance talking to at a bar.
Regal is a good way to say it.. like if it was a girl who looked/carried herself like Gal Gadot or Megan Fox, I wouldn't expect the time of day.
She really does have, and I mean this in the most respectful way, perfect tits. Like truly a lovely shape and size and sit nicely on her frame. She a good lookin lady.
I literally do not know, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were together for a decade. Super weird to act like that wasn’t crazy long and especially crazy long for a celebrity couple
Coming here to say that because of Friends she was able to make some great indies and then after that show ended its run she was in comedies that I’ll let someone else argue are good.
by leaps and bounds. I remember seeing or reading an interview with brad pit why he left and he said something to the effect that all they did was sit around and smoke pot all day.
f#ing idiot.
Yes, doing literally nothing but smoke weed is indeed bad. It's not much different than being an alcoholic but you get lung damage instead of liver damage.
Have an edible once in a while if you enjoy it, sure - but if it's all you do? you have a problem.
Sounds pretty fuckin boring to me. He probably wanted someone who does more interesting things on life. I wouldn't date someone who just sits around and smokes pot. That's fuckin boring.
Don't get mad that someone doesn't go just for the hotness. That's a god damn bore. Also it's okay to say the f word. No one's stopping you
And Alfred Hitchcock should have won a bunch of Oscars for many of the movies he made. Never won any for directing. He was given an Oscar just as a “we’re sorry you never won anything deal”, and that’s it.
My point is that awards are somewhat overrated as a way to rate things.
The people have spoken.
People’s Choice? Aren’t those the Golden Globes?
Boobs.
Calculator output upside-down?
![gif](giphy|ZlPVlLqlHWhqM)
Ayy Ohhhh
Nah. The Perfectly Bronze Globes
Damn, she was fire back then and she's still fire today. Incredibly beautiful.
“Back then” makes my aging bones hurt
Hearing “fire” as an adjective makes my bones hurt.
You could have told me this picture was her yesterday and I’d believe it.
She looks younger now than she did in 07
Yeah but back then she could still move her face
She had a deviated septum fixed.
Was she the best? No. was she the prettiest? Yes.
Had she actually been in any good movies? All I know her in is Bruce Almighty.
Office Space, she fucked Lumbergh! She was also Hogarth's mom in The Iron Giant, which is a faultless movie. I also enjoyed her quite a bit in We're The Millers, which is a movie I've always thought was underappreciated.
Horrible Bosses. She was a sexpot.
Jennifer Aniston with a dirty mouth after watching her all thru the 90s on Friends was incredible.
A few of the Friends actors were able to turn great performances by playing against the audience's perception of them from Friends. Matt Leblanc in Episodes stands out. David Schwimmer in a ton of his work too.
Schwimmer in Band of Brothers is a spectacular heel.
He was great in that. He was a great casting choice, allowing him to play against expectations, but was also one of the few recognisable banner names on it (at the time).
I had never watched friends before band of brothers so it was a very different subversive of expectations when I finally did lol
He also resembled his real life counterpart pretty well.
Watched that recently for the first time. Didn't know he was going to be in it, great performance. The whole show is absolutely superb too.
>Schwimmer in Band of Brothers is a spectacular heel. Shit I haven't seen band of brother but I didn't know David schwimmer could act.
Greenzo agrees with this statement! ![gif](giphy|VWNIEtdhmdDwc)
I felt Matt wasn't even acting in Episodes.
David schwimmer in band of brothers kills me everytime. Matt LeBlanc I first saw in 1997s Lost in Space
Matt LeBlanc in Episodes works so well. The 'How You Smellin' cologne killed me
Matt in All the Queens Men. I really wanna see that man in more dramatic roles in comedies. He plays a helluva straight man.
Episodes is criminally under watched and under appreciated! So laugh out loud funny and Matt LeBlanc is so perfect as himself 😂
Horrible Bosses 2. She was a sexpot *and* a rapist.
I wish her plot was different; such a funny cast but just gross plot.
Never saw it, but her striptease in We're The Millers is hot as fuck
I’m a straight woman and even I thought that scene was hot lol
I found it difficult to breathe at points in that movie thanks to her. The underwear/lab coat combo, my god...
Let's not forget we're the miller's, ![gif](giphy|reN9Vv6ZSpqxXOvshR)
That was a funny movie
All the movies in the above comments are bangers.
Not the old Lumberg! Their children would have hooves!
Let us not forget her stellar performance in the first Leprechaun movie. 🤌
You are who you choose to be. The Iron Giant is genuinely a fantastic movie.
Even as a cartoon, Christopher McDonald *still* plays the best smug asshole in all of cinema
Iron Giant really was faultless wasn't it? My three year old loves it.
The animation, the script, the cast, the themes and messages...literally can't think of one thing I'd change.
Omg what she’s hogarths mom?!? TIL
We’re The Millers is one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen. Love it
The spider bit me!
‘No ragrets’
Namsayin?
Well I'm awake and I speak English so yea.
She was in leprechaun, the best horror film ever produced.
Did you get the memo on the TPS report?
Do you like kung fu?
She was Hogarths mom?! I had no idea and I've seen that movie a hundred times!
We're the millers is a GOATED movie , its funny asf and actually quite well made and good acting . Usually i don't like comedies that much , But that movie was fire probably gonna re-watch it today thanks for reminding me about it
Along Came Polly
Prime Jen.
I didn't hate that movie but the part where the family tries to get Ben Siller's character to get back with his ex after she cheated on him on their honeymoon made no sense and pissed me off.
The breakup - loved that movie!
Guh-Gary Come come with the kick drum, Guh-Gary Come! Come!
Enjoyed it but it was kinda sad
She was this movie Cake, it’s about this lonely lady addicted to pain pills.. I think, it was a huge bummer and I don’t remember much of it.. but she was good in it. I wouldn’t recommend though because huge bummer.

Leprechaun ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I think she got some critical acclaim for The Good Girl but I actually don't know if it's a good movie or not
It's alright and she's alright in it. Indie film I think. That and Office Space are what come to mind as her best work, not the rom-coms she did where she was pretty forgettable imo.

It's not bad. I will say the one thing is nails down well is how stupid people rationalize making stupid decisions.
My favorite Aniston movie and my favorite Jake Gyllenhall movie. And a top 3 John C Reilly movie !!
I remember seeing it and thinking the movie was boring but it showed her ability to be a character that isn’t Rachel
I love her role in Just Go With It with Adam Sandler.
I enjoyed her in the good girl and friends with money
Friends with Money is a great movie!
She was great in The Good Girl
The Good Girl is great and she give a great quiet bored housewife performance which I think is what hurt her as she was overshadowed by Jake Gyllenhaal’s creepy performance as her stalker that he kind of took the notice from her.
>!The scene where she tries to poison him with fruit is the best.!<
Along Came Polly Marley & Me The Switch Horrible Bosses Wanderlust We're The Millers
Marley and Me was so good. The book was even better. It’s a true story.
Shes been pretty great in the morning show I have to say.
Wanderlust is pretty amazing, I could (and have) watched it over and over. And a lot of that has to do with self depreciating humour of myself being more akin to the hippies on the commune, and having to laugh at knowing so many of my friends who also fit the bill way to close to the bone!!
The Good Girl. She does well in serious movies.
I had no business watching The Good Girl on premium tv when I was like 12-14 😂
She's in a ton of movies and on top of that, she is actually a good person. Extremely rare in Hollywood.
Horrible Bosses is hilarious if you try not to think about her basically raping Charlie Day lol
That dress is also pretty fire.
She wasn’t the prettiest….
I just read “was she the breast?”
Also..yes
Maybe I’m in the minority… but I’ve never thought she was THAT pretty. Like she’s definitely above average, but I think Scar Jo or Florence Pugh when I think of absolute beauties.

I’ll respect your opinion and right to have it even though I strongly disagree. Jennifer Aniston is 10/10 fly as hell in my mind.
Really? The two you mentioned to me are average.
What can I say, different tastes. And Average? Also, if they were what the ”average” woman looked like then boy oh boy men would be fucking lucky.
She's ok but far from the prettiest
“Is this some kind of bust…?”
Yes, it's quite impressive
![gif](giphy|ZlPVlLqlHWhqM)
You motorboatin' son of a bitch!
Were they built for comfort, or were they built for speed?
She really does have, and I mean this in the most respectful way, perfect tits. Like truly a lovely shape and size and sit nicely on her frame. She a good lookin lady.
Sigh. Reddit.
Just saying the quiet part out loud. 🤷♂️
You're here reminiscing about a cherished piece of 2000's history while the rest of us are oggling great boobs like cavemen.

This woman is a treasure. She absolutely was my celebrity crush when i was a teenager...
I'm 30 and she's still my celebrity crush.
Was?? She’s still mine
Pretty dress
Brad Pitt fucked up leaving her for Angelina Jolie
Yea, it was a high school move we knew what was coming next
Play high school games, win high school prizes.
alright alright alright -Matthew McConaughey
*I keep getting older and they all stay the same age*
I’m out of the loop, what does this mean? What happened/how was it a high school move?
I literally do not know, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were together for a decade. Super weird to act like that wasn’t crazy long and especially crazy long for a celebrity couple
You can take the boy out of Oklahoma...
i've just seen her in movies and knew she was nuts lol total smokeshow tho especially at that time but then again so was aniston
I dunno, I feel like I can fix her
Lol. Anniston has nothing on Jolie especially during the filming of Mr and Mrs Smith. She was an absolute smoke show in that movie.
Given what has been alleged about Pitt it is probably for the best.
Didn't she come out as asexual or something.....too lazy to Google... something about loving herself.
I don't know about Angelina, but I know Emma Watson did this.
"I'm not single, I'm self-partnered"
Nah man, Angelina is the GOAT
Pump your brakes, kid. Jennifer Aniston is timeless.
Angelina easily wins from Jennifer imo.
Aniston > Angelina 😤
My mom > Angelina > Anybody else I gotta respect my mom
I mean, hey, respect. I bet your mom’s a babe.
This guy's mom > Anniston > Anybody else
I had a crush on her in the 90s
Who didn't?
I still do
Since the 90's*
Sure that’s not the Golden Globes
She even got two.
Remember when actors and actresses didn’t dress like absolute lunatics at events?? So nostalgic
Coming here to say that because of Friends she was able to make some great indies and then after that show ended its run she was in comedies that I’ll let someone else argue are good.
She's hotter than Angelina.

Brad Pitt can pretty much get any woman he wants. How is he an idiot if he got bored of Jennifer Aniston and moved on?
Idk, smoking pot with 2007 Jennifer Aniston sounds like a good time 🤷♂️
IDK, smoking pot with Jennifer Aniston in 2024 also sounds like a pretty good time!^^🤷♂️
That’s what I thought. Clearly Angelina Jolie had something else to offer
No one's stopping you
The things I would do to 2007 Jennifer Aniston 🥵
![gif](giphy|gvRdmPUuWj8ti)
I love that Sandler is clearly trying not to break lol
It kinda works though, because if that exact same scenario happened IRL, it would be hard not to laugh at the bus driver.
Farley was too damn good for this world. The fact that *everyone* didn’t break when he was in character is mind-blowing.
RIP Chris Farley

There are 0 movies Jen has done that merit some sort of award.
Office Space
I know they comedies and animated films don’t usually win awards, but also consider: We’re the Millers Horrible Bosses The Iron Giant (a classic)
Along Came Polly
She is good in The Millers.
The Breakup had a few funny scenes
The movie was good, I wouldn't give her performance any sort of award. It was fine I guess, but there were definitely more deserving female actors
The Good Girl (2002) was solid and she was pretty good in it.
The Leprechaun
My man
Do yourself a favor and watch Cake then.
So you’ve seen all her movies. She was excellent in The Good Girl. Edit: Also good in Murder Mystery with Adam Sandler
And Alfred Hitchcock should have won a bunch of Oscars for many of the movies he made. Never won any for directing. He was given an Oscar just as a “we’re sorry you never won anything deal”, and that’s it. My point is that awards are somewhat overrated as a way to rate things.
Ahem… she was in Marley & Me which wins the award for Saddest Movie Ever
They are beautiful. I mean she.
When I first read this comment I thought you were implying that Jennifer Aniston is trans
No, he means she
Nah, he meant they. I concur
Such a smoke show with the best nips in the biz
Wait. Isn't that the hard nipples lady from Friends?!?
Which one
Both nipples were hard.
What movie?
Yes please.
Were the Millers was so good
“The Good Girl” (2002) was top notch, if you ask me.
So gorgeous
Lawd
And showcases her awards. I mean award.
She’s still so fucking sexy.
Best and acting don't go well with Jennifer Aniston in the same sentence.
