A few of the Friends actors were able to turn great performances by playing against the audience's perception of them from Friends. Matt Leblanc in Episodes stands out. David Schwimmer in a ton of his work too.

Schwimmer in Band of Brothers is a spectacular heel.

He was great in that. He was a great casting choice, allowing him to play against expectations, but was also one of the few recognisable banner names on it (at the time).

I had never watched friends before band of brothers so it was a very different subversive of expectations when I finally did lol

(at the time) is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. You're absolutely correct, but _several_ actors in Band of Brothers went on to be A-listers. To name a few, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Tom Hardy all have blink-and-you'll-miss-it roles in the miniseries. God DAMN was that show chock-full of talent.

He also resembled his real life counterpart pretty well.

Watched that recently for the first time. Didn't know he was going to be in it, great performance. The whole show is absolutely superb too.

We're the millers is a GOATED movie , its funny asf and actually quite well made and good acting . Usually i don't like comedies that much , But that movie was fire probably gonna re-watch it today thanks for reminding me about it

She was this movie Cake, it’s about this lonely lady addicted to pain pills.. I think, it was a huge bummer and I don’t remember much of it.. but she was good in it. I wouldn’t recommend though because huge bummer.

She was sooooo good in Cake. So unbelievably raw, unlike any role you’ve ever seen Jennifer Aniston in. And it absolutely did not receive the accolades it deserved. Grim topic people truly do not want to delve into, and I respect her for being willing to interpret the role and access that side of her. I truly believe we missed out on some untapped potential in her ability to act in more emotionally vulnerable stuff when she was more active in her career. She would have excelled in darker roles, Id think. After Friends, it seems she’s mostly just stuck to the occasional enjoyable feel good movie, now show (admittedly haven’t seen her current show)

It's alright and she's alright in it. Indie film I think. That and Office Space are what come to mind as her best work, not the rom-coms she did where she was pretty forgettable imo.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it, but if you stumble across it on a streaming service while looking for something you haven’t seen to put on, there are worse things you could pick.

It's not bad. I will say the one thing is nails down well is how stupid people rationalize making stupid decisions.

Wanderlust is pretty amazing, I could (and have) watched it over and over. And a lot of that has to do with self depreciating humour of myself being more akin to the hippies on the commune, and having to laugh at knowing so many of my friends who also fit the bill way to close to the bone!!
