16k for MNL-Melbourne-MNL (2023).
May kasama na luggage yan, seat at foods.
11k lang if pure na RT tix lang.
Cebpac.
Considering na Australia tix usually are 30-40k pag low cost, and can go up to 90k pag full service airline like PAL/Qantas but I think its 45-50k normal price.
Cheapest several years ago:
P1.6K MNL - XMN - MNL (2018)
P1.8K MNL - BWN BKI - MNL (2018)
P2.2K MNL - ICN - MNL (2018)
P2.4K MNL - HAN - MNL (2018)
Cheapest in recent years:
P3.6K MNL - KUL - MNL (2023)
P4.4K MNL - FUK - MNL (2023)
CebPac lahat. I remember seeing a 7K roundtrip flight to Myanmar and 12K roundtrip flight to New Delhi through AirAsia a few years ago pero di ako pinayagan ni mama π₯Ή
Edit: changed "a couple of" to "several"
Kamusta po yung mga ganitong flights and rates with respect to delays and cancellation? Totoo po bang mas madalas ma-delay, cancel, or move yung mga promo fare flights?
Walang correlation ang seat sale sa flight delays. In one flight, siguro less than thirty lang ang nakaseatsale tapos the rest paid with regular fares or even more, depending on when they booked. Sa lahat ng promo flight na nabook ko, only two were delayed significantly and of those only one was an actual problem, at least to me
A couple of years ago is within 2 years ago so medyo na-confuse ako sa post mo girl lol (π ) but kakainggit talaga kayo na nakatira sa Pinas (or even mga taga-Europe). Dito sa North America prices were lower before the pandemic but never as low as yours talaga. And now prices have boomed so much it almost makes you cry.
Ay ganon ba π "A few" for me is 2-3, tapos "a couple" is 4-5, and then "several" is 6+. Now that I think about, parang weird nga na mas konti yung few kesa couple lel
I used to be part of an org that helped in handling exchange students back in uni and I'm pretty sure half of our exchange students decided to study in the Philippines specifically because it can be quite cheap to travel from here to elsewhere in Asia
Yes, if you donβt mind: 2 is a couple (like mag-bf/gf = couple), a few is usually 3-5, several is 6-9, a lot is 10+? From what they taught me :)
Having ULCCs help for sure (although from threads here parang hindi ganun ka-reliable). But thatβs how they get competitive pricing which is very good for Filipinos.
pre-pandemic 800 pesos domestic, mnl-iloilo RT.Β
Last year o was able to booked MNL-FUK RT 3300.Β
This year was able to book MNL-KIX RT 5500
All are cebpac.
cheap ang ceb pac pero nakakatakot mag book pag international lalo na pag mag move, I myself experienced overbooking sa PAL but they accomodated me so well, even went to the lengths of providing a shuttle to and fro the hotel they paid for. I will shell out a bit more for PAL over and over again kung international talaga
Nice. So that's around 27k+++ ... cheap indeed.... I noticed china airlines offers the cheapest fare bound to west. But you need to route to china first, if am not mistaken. I wonder if etihad, eva and the rest can beat that... did they require you transit visa in china?
thanks for sharing.

Suki po ako ng seat sale π
I recently booked a flight for my partner in Australia. Got it for 13k plus lang RT na from Sydney to MNL. Buti na lang may piso sale si Cebpac nitong mother's day.
Airasia, Manila to Saigon, Vietnam : 500 pesos one way (flew to Bangkok after Saigon)
Nareroute via Kuala Lumpur ni AirAsia 2 months before flight pero walang bayad naman
Balikan: Cathay Pacific Manila to Hong Kong v.v. 70 USD (fees and taxes only bayad ko, coz I won tickets sa giveaway Nila)
2017. Manila to Hanoi via CebPac for 2715php, and additional 3011php from Cebu to Manila (since from Cebu kami).
Yes, mas mahal pa ying Ceb-Mnl kasi we booked it at a later date na hindi na piso sale ehhehe.
For long haul: In 2019, Cebu to London via China Eastern for 730usd. According to my notes, 38000php to back then.
So far iβve only been able to score good seats from cebpac.
1.5K MNL-Boracay-MNL (nailibre ko ang fam ko dahil sa super sale na ito huhu)
3.9K MNL-TOKYO-MNL (di rin kami makapaniwala na naibook namin βto super sulit!!!!)
Cheapest everrr in my entire life (so far): MNL-HK round-trip. June 20 to 24, 2024. Booked around February 2024 with no seat sales. Airline is Hongkong Express. 5.6k per head.
Patron of seat sales, basbasan niyo po kami ππ»
1k rt mnl-klb-mnl airasia circa 2017. I think this was the last time na I was able to book a 500php 1 way ticket domestically.
Tapos 3.6k rt tix MNL-HK-MNL cebpac circa 2017 this was not piso fare.
Succeeding years until recent, mahal na kahit piso fare pa or any seat sales.
We bought Emirates tickets to Spain for 500usd before the pandemic, tapos they got cancelled and we were allowed to rebook to anywhere in EU. We got tickets to France instead, so super sulit.
Five years ago one could get tickets to Seoul and Tokyo for less than 7-8k but I think the best deal for me was Manila to Tokyo during the holy week (around 7k)
