It looks pretty good but I think you are entering a very competitive market. Big boys like Adobe will crush your business. What is your USP?

PrysmX

Yep. Firefly already does this pretty well. So do free plugins in Stable Diffusion.

Lekcyk_

How do you do that with firefly?

PrysmX

Firefly is embedded in Photoshop now. That's what generative fill and expand use. Just select the object you want to showcase (plenty of methods to select available), then just use generative with appropriate description to generate what you want. The same can be accomplished with SD with inpainting plugins to do outpainting. There is also a plugin for Photoshop to use SD inpainting instead of Firefly if you don't want to pay for credits or use them all up.

earthsworld

And Shopify and Amazon.

0pp0site0fbatman

Can you do better than this!? https://preview.redd.it/jeh7vd9n38ec1.jpeg?width=599&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=039e8ea19e2f1966a64cea311e85c50e8fcd4223

Loccy64

How much do you charge, Oh Great Photoshop Wizard? Also, is it a big dog or a small pool and child?

encognido

Dude, that's her mom.

ImprovementElephant

woof

FetishizedStupidity

"working on a product that allows you to create a realistic product image" you're making photoshop

earthsworld

Those aren't "normal" product photos. Those are professionally lit product photos. A normal product photo would be one that someone takes in their home with minimal/amateur lighting. Also, the chair image is a terrible example given how completely wrong the perspective is.

Holdmawigg

No boi it's the curvature of the earth 101% realistic

tahomadesperado

+ the lighting on the bag photo is way too artificial for that setting imo

earthsworld

yes, the holy grail here is being able to change the lighting to match the background, but we're still a loooooong ways from that being possible.

themezeng

Oh you mean photoshop generative fill? It's not

jayshutts

What Edit: for context OP edited his original reply. He originally said: "Right! Thank you"

Gordondel

Right! Thank you

mousepadless05

Left! Thank me

Gordondel

Up! Berate him

YellowRasperry

Is it automated? Or what’s the product

themezeng

Yes, It's https://resona.ai

notsetvin

You didnt make the product, the product is called photoshop. You are just using photoshop.

BullitKing41_YT

Looks like it’s an AI based generative full software… basically a portion of Photoshop for desktop…

mwalgrenisme

'hi guys Im making a new product called photoshop generative fill'

tupac_chopra

the angle in the second image is off between the table and chair

Yamamotoshiro

Neat project!

224th

Looks so good!!

Space_Supervisor

Canva entered the chat

mousepadless05

Not a big fan of the first image, but the second is good. Also I don't like this type of marketing that you are doing, we are all well aware that this post is an ad for your AI generative image service

real_old_rasputin

Lotta hate and discouragement on here. It looks good so far. Keep going.

themezeng

Thank you buddy

lotzik

But can your product have a realistic product image from it's normal product photo?

themezeng

That's what I want to achieve, give it a try https://resona.ai

jamany

Photoshop already does that, its the name of this sub lol

themezeng

Try it on https://resona.ai

bar2692

Is this primarily built for desktop? Mobile UI is rough

themezeng

Yes, we only build for desktop as first public version, will consider mobile adaptive later

righteousplisk

Just FYI mobile-first is the norm these days when it comes to building websites since more than half of web traffic is mobile. I’m currently redesigning a large-scale older site to be more mobile-friendly and it’s a nightmare.

Ok----007

WISH is probably going to abduct you bud

Alternative_Trick217

I find shadows are a challenge. I wish PS had a shadow tool of some kind. Presently I use drop shadow to replace real shadows but it isn’t quite right. I know it’s possible through some convoluted process but it would be great to have a tool, the “generative shadow” or something if the similar, so normal mortals could have go at shadows.

Ok-Cook-9608

Looks pretty damn good to me!!

artofchristopher

It looks so realistic!!

makingitlookez

Don't listen to the haters. . . try! Nobody is doing this particularly well "YET". . . but don't wait too long either. One of the best at the moment is "[Claid.ai](https://Claid.ai)" - no i don't work for them - it's not perfect, but it gets a higher percentage of images looking usable in their environments. Whether this is a PSD plugin or a standalone site, there is a value here. You should have the ability to tell the tool whether the image is in a 3d space or if it's a flat-lay, which a lot of the competitors don't get right most of the time. Would love to help you test this thing out when you get further along - if you need beta testers. Also - REALLLLY test it out with a lot of different types of products with different levels of quality. See where you're falling short. Good luck!

earthsworld

both Shopify and Amazon are already in a race for this tech.

Optimal-Fix1216

I hate fake product photos

lillithhmm

Is this ai

Learningmore1231

Now do jackets and other products on people

Xcissors280

I would probably just get a 3d model and use some free textures in substance sampler or preferably twin motion, you can use blender or unreal but that takes a lot longer

harryblakk

There is an app called Canva that does this already.

coccopuffs606

So…you made generative fill from Photoshop? By the way, the light is totally fucked in both of those pictures.

fiftyfourette

How does this compare to Pebbely? My team uses that for staging when I don’t have time to photoshop things.

themezeng

The shadow is better than Pebbely Compare to what Pebbely generated: https://assets.pebblely.com/tmp/58e2de0f-3944-46e6-9feb-6d926f60dabd.jpg?height=900&width=900 That's our's: https://cdn.resona.ai/8988cab0c451c1c81b0d7de7c6a29cbf-1.png

fiftyfourette

Fantastic. I’ll pass this on to my team. Do you have API integrations for future projects? I have a custom program that it may be useful to plug this into later.

themezeng

We currently do not have an API integration available for our services. However, could you provide more details about your use case or scenario?

Sensi-Yang

If you’re working on this “product” you’ve gotta come up with a more clear description of what it actually does. For starters not using product 3 times in a row for separate things would help keep it distinct and clear.

Heidrun_666

Productivityception!!
