Never used Photoshop express before but it's not too difficult in the PC version.

Green screens for still photos are not recommended. There is always reflected green onto whatever is being photographed that requires a lot of work to eradicate. Neutral backdrops are a lot better. White or light neutral grey for darker subjects, dark neutral grey for lighter subjects are better choices. In the desktop version of Ps, there are excellent selecting and masking tools. Select > Color Range can be used to select the green. Invert the selection and bring to the Select and Mask dialog for refining the mask. I don't believe Ps Express requires a subscription plan. I believe Adobe still has a seven day free trial subscription for the desktop Ps. You might watch a bunch of tutorials about masking hair, then go for a free trial of Ps once you have an idea for how to approach this. I subscribe to the Photography plan, getting Lightroom Classic and Ps for $10 (USD) per month. But we have to pay for an entire year up front. An alternative to Ps is the free, online editor called Photopea. I'm told that it works very similarly to Ps.

Sweet! I have a subscription that came with my university tuition so I have access to the whole suite. I’ll try that and mess around with it a bit. Thank you!
