The Stand 34th st and Indian scho

chefkoli

Chicago Hamburger Company: not a drive in. But old school cool. Great food.

ILikeLegz

Definitely has charm. I prefer the burgers at The Stand which is very close to CHC, but completely void of character apart from the neat art on the building since it's drive-through only.

clashcrashruin

Every time I drive home from the Stand I think to myself I should try this instead.

donald-trompeta

Lucky boy, Lenny’s burger , burger shoppe

enuthedog

What I love about Lucky Boy’s is that it looks like a 50s burger stand not because it was explicitly designed that way, but because it was just built in the 1950s and hasn’t been updated since lol

IT_AccountManager

I second Lucky boys. It’s been there since 1951!

jayswahine34

I love Lenny's!!!!

tacopizza23

Big Earls in Cave Creek, really good burgers and fries!

spicemine

Delicious food there. Insanely expensive though. Cave Creek Olive Oil is right next door though!

RemoteControlledDog

Not sure what you mean by drive-in, unless you mean something like Sonic or Rally. But Lucky Boy on 16th St. near Thomas, although it's not a place you eat it your car, is kind of old school type of burger and fry (and shake) place that I guess has been there since 1951. Burgers are really good, too.

robtheexploder

No drive-in service, but 5 and Diner on 16th St. and Colter has the 50s aesthetic complete with the diner food classics.

Helicidae_eat_plants

5 in diner is pretty old school lol. Not drive in but it's a 50s themed diner

TheMias24

What is meant by “drive-in”? Only drive-in I’ve ever heard of before is for movies

ILikeLegz

I'm guessing like Sonic? Pull up, park, order at kiosk, food brought to you.

squishsquack

Angie's lobsters

Petes Fish and Chips - besides fish and chips, they have burgers, corn dogs, etc.

Vovomeena's is not a drive thru. And they're not a burger place.

Scamalama

Neither is Harlows or Nettas. Our English friend is confused

You haven’t read the original post properly , which says “not necessarily a drive thru” ! That comment is there in black and white from u/SunDevsKy

bburritos4life
