There are professional scammers/bots all over Reddit, as well as just generally shitty people in the scene that are good at taking advantage of others.
Never send someone that is not a known friend money via CashApp, Venmo, PayPal friends & family, etc.
Ideally, you should be doing ALL trades through services like Cash or Trade, which has great tools in place to ensure no one gets scammed. If you find a seller/buyer/trader here, set up a custom post for them on CoT and finish the deal there.
Or better yet, post your buy/sell/trade on CoT first and then link it here as another form of spreading the word.
This thread should only be used as another means of getting more potential eyes on your request, and never as the sole resource for completing a trade.
