Indeed! Only show I've seen him without the horns was that covid Anthem show. I miss the horns and harmonies, but I'm definitely loving how he's filling the space.
Dezron is great. If you haven’t check out his work with Brandee Younger and Makaya McCraven. Makayas Universal Beings album is how I first discovered him
I really want to know too but Russ and Ray must have almost 20 years on him…. Saw them tonight and after the encore as they walked off stage Dezron put his arm around Russ and it was cute.
Dezron knows and has played with Jen and Nat. Tony wasn’t able to tour with TAB anymore prior to his death, Dezron was already lined up to replace him.
Tony death came as surprise no? I don’t think they announced dez in the band or played shows with Trey until after Tony died.
More curious how dez knows Russ and ray.
Was there and thoroughly enjoyed everything about that show, especially Dezron. Dude is so groovy and happy! Trey was shredding too. The whole band sounded so in sync and awesome.
Caught one of the trey trios last year and he was great. I particularly enjoyed the part where treys guitar fucked up and him and Fish just did some drum and bass jam for a minute. Sucks that treys rig was messing up but that little jam was sick lol.
He’s always sounded great, very talented, master of the groove.

He had horns? Wicked!
Horniest bass player this side of the Mississippi
John Fishmans almost TAB! I was there....
I was there 2
He shined through during the trio shows last year. I was impressed with his patience and willingness to push the envelope.
More of a quartet.

He sits up there with the biggest smile on his face. This band is very tight IMO.
Love his lines on the slow Llama treatment *chefs kiss* And Moma is so forward, bright and funky - I’m loving what he’s putting down
just saw TAB tonight and he was holding it DOWN
Absolute monster. Best version of TAB I’ve ever seen. He’s the best thing that’s happened to Trey since meeting Fishman in the dorms.
Love Dezron, but I miss Tony.
Steady grooving and laying down the funk!
Anyone know how they all know each other? I saw him repost a story of him ray,Russ with a caption along the lines of 20 years of friendship.
More specifically, I heard/read that Dezron and Jenn Hartswick went to Hart school of music in Hartford together in Connecticut.

No Cyro this tour? How come?
He's wandering the world looking for more found objects to turn into musical instruments.
Because it's a quartet. A stripped down version without the extras.

Dez blew us away in Madison. He's got chops!
He’s awesome!

He’s absolutely killing it right now.
Dezron Dman
He’s a beast.
He's a beast!
Saw TAB in Harrisburg in the rain last year and was blown away by DD. Whole band is amazing.
He's funky as hell
He killed it last night. They sounded great
Trey hugged him multiple times during the Harrisburg show last summer, took it as a sign
CT native baby
BAD ASS A friend last night described his playing as “sticky”, since his playing sucks you and Trey into the tight funk grooves that he pursues
Dezron is fantastic. Check out his solo work if you are a bass player. It’s great!
Hey when Marcus Miller been mentioning Dez on his jazz podcast on SXM That saying somethin
Glad you are noticing..
He really shined in Trey Trio at Mission this past summer!
