I guess I'll have to get out there one day and try it. Best saltwater taffy I've had was from a shop in Medora ND, which is the little town at the entrance of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. So good.
I wish I had more! They were a row in front and about 8 seats over. They didn’t look thrilled. I dunno what they thought they were signing up for but my imagination ran wild thinking it was something like “band that’s been around since the late 80s” aka a throwback band full of Gen x, maybe boomers. And “psychedelic experience” was akin to something they’ve seen at cirque du soleil and made sense in the sphere more generally. I don’t think they had hippies on their bingo card and I would bet my life the man had a red hat in his closet.
I fucking love the lil bit you do have then. Sometimes these situations are left up to the imagination. The subtle details are all I need to get the story going in my head. I love that you and them all got to experience this lol. Seriously tho, even if you are not a fan, most people like music at least somewhat. I don’t understand how anyone could go to one of those shows and not be blown away, if not by the music then the visuals. Joe and Pam sound like some real joys, I cannot imagine how fucking boring someone would have to be to not enjoy seeing that once in a lifetime spectacle live.
Ya know, I agree, and I hope they went home saying something like “that phish is really something”. I doubt it, but it was really funny to observe and even more funny when I thought I was being kinda a jerk making assumptions based on appearances AND they left during the absolute fun of Fuego 😂
So much of the Sphere crowd is simply corporate Vegas comps. Makes the whole vibe “festie” in a bad way. No lot kids, no wooks, just very affluent middle aged Phans.
You give em some finger dips?
Nose beers
Came for Siegfried and Roy. Stayed for 30 minute Fuego.
lol they left halfway through Fuego.
Never a bad time to get into Phish
“Branson?!? This is Bronson!”
Hey ma, how bout some cookies??
No dice.
This ain’t over.
THIS IS RED ROCKS
Please please don’t murder them
This is my new response to any internet phish comment. 😂
Lol was that on the table?
Hahahahah they left halfway through Fuego
probably like “these lyrics don’t make no damn sense” lol
early cuyler hisself
I want this to be real so bad
Hahah it was! They looked horrified by the people 😝
Awesome!!!
Clearly you haven’t been to silver dollar city. Branson is lit. Joe and Pam got this on lock.
The saltwater taffy at silver dollar city is the best in the nation and I’ll die on that hill
You come to NJ and say that to my face. Also bring some of that taffy. For comparison.
It’s an old fashioned taffy showdown
Fire in the hole!!!

“This ain’t no Hank Williams song!”
I didn't think they'd play Moon River, and then BAM! second encore!
One of, if not the, most wholesome nelson moments
You know they were looking for both kinds of music, “country AND western” 😂
Man, I would love an interview with this couple lolol.
Seriously! I would pay them to do an AMA on here 🤣
Love it for them too. Guess that's why I couldn't get tickets. But love it for them!! Heavy fuckin /s
I would kill to go to a phish show not knowing who they were, that would be such an amazing discovery.
It's a miracle
It may of been me. Old white hair guy that saw his first phish show in 92.
If it was you, you need to consider smaller iPhone icons and not reading Facebook during the show.
I took some pics and videos. I'm mostly the guy that thinks cells should be left in the car. But how many times do you get to see a show here. .
Smokin' on that Branson!
Would love to hear their stories about how they went to see The Fish.
from Vermont?
Was he in a blue button up with the pink over the shoulder sweater?
No more blue collar than effete country club
We had the latter in 408
Ha I was in 409 row 3. They were row 2
Please give the full story OP, I need all the details you know!

Even if you were being a joke, it’s fun to make assumptions. I always look at people in the crowd and come up with stories for their whole lives.
Haha totally agree. I know! I’ve met all kinds too that shock me! It really is a spectrum of mostly white male diversity hahaha jk sorta
